My thoughts and prayers to you My American cousin..✌️👍🇬🇧
Prayers going up!
🙏🏼🙏🏼you got this! Keep Your Head up!🙏🏼🙏🏼💪🏼
Puddin I’m a 62-year-old woman and I think that van is the coolest thing I’ve ever seen. Wait let me couch that, of course, my first choice will always be the 1960s Ford Econoline pick up truck. But that what you got so freaking clean! Is my number #2. congratulations!
You will need to make a Puddin's cable TV service sticker for this one.
That's a corvair dash in it
@@gerry-p9xis it? It looks factory 😮
@@gerry-p9xwith a pickup steering wheel.
Yes and a t shirt
Love the van it’s the one that is the original Scooby Doo van.
Your van was made from 1964-66. The taillights were the same as 60-66 Chevy fleetside pickups. That’s why they read 60. The front turn signals are the same as 1955-57 Chevrolet pickup front turn signals. The dash is the same as a corvair60-64. In 1967 the changed the nose and dash. The also made the dog house wider under the seats to put in the v8. 64-66 vans had 6 cylinder. I’m not certain about the 4 cylinder. In the 70s I put in a v8 and I had to build 4-6 wide boxes on each side of the dog house. I also used a hydraulic gas pedal.
Ty.
I love peoples knowledge of odd things. So many guys, and gals, have so much knowledge of weird stuff. And it’s even better when you are willing to share it. Thanks.
Walking through the grocery store here in Washington State with my puddin hoodie on had 3 people said they watch the show
This will be one of my favorite builds, nothing beats an old van build or a station wagon.
Think this might be the first time you might want to put in a hopped up straight six
@@roberthardman3774 Maybe a 292cid with an Offenhauser #5415 dual 4bbl set-up.
Puddin Shaggy and Theo Scooby
I want to see big build on van too but like to see the loadstar build too .
I agree with the wagon statement
I hope he takes this one all the way. Favorite project so far
Man I think your channel will hit a million subs if you keep YOU , old truck dude, slick and bill full time. I love your channel puddin.
In 1974-75, My brother had a gray '67 with black primer coat from the doors back. Inside , he primered with white, then he took some fish netting and then spray painted sky blue over it.When he took away the netting, the design was painted on the inside of the doors and dash. He use to keep sticks of incense on the visor. I can almost smell that van now. Thanks for a great flash back.
Just wanted to say that Theo is looking great. Thank You for saving him.
The van is gorgeous. I can’t wait to see how you drop the front end, because there’s not much room to work with.
It's literally been sitting in that yard since I was born & I cannot believe how dang good of shape its in! Geezzz!!
Love those old flat windshield vans. Great find!
I can't believe you think people aren't going to be excited for this build! This will be fun and you found a great set of bones to build on. I for one, cannot wait to see this being built! Thanks for another awesome build Puddin (and crew)!!
I myself just got a 1993 GMC rally van. We payed $800 for it, it needed a good amount of work but drives Awsome. While we were cleaning the inside of it out, we found $1000 cash in the owners manual. God is good
Lets face it your channel is one of the best on you tube like sleeperdude and Mortske, and Vice grip. Just keep doing what you do and we will keep coming back forever.
My main ones I watch. And half ass customs
I always look forward to new videos on his! You just can't help but like his content! Could you imagine how cool it would be to be able to hang out with him in his shop, work on old Chevy vehicles? 👍
I also highly recommend Pole Barn Garage. Between Pudding, VGG, and Pole Barn, I rarely watch regular tv.
Let's not forget junkyard digs too. All these channels rock
Negative talk about merch to much. Pole barn and daily death traps is the best
🎉😅 that is a awesome Van ....Always wanted one... My grandfather had one with a round window in the back🎉😅...Love it...🎉Thanls....JJ...
Yes keep it and keep fixing her up little by little. I’m from the van craze era in the 60’s and 70’s! I love them.
14 inch. Camaro rallyes. Fit with g70 tires
Needs a hopped up 6. With a nova turbo hydro
We had a black ’66 that used to be a drag racer. We used it to test and break in engines in the ’80s and ’90s. We removed the back doors and welded an I-beam to the roof inside. We hung a chain hoist from it so we could lift an engine and slide it inside to drop it in the hole. It made a perfect engine run stand.
This is definitely going to be one of my favorite builds. It has the ability to pull off just about any look. Please please please bring back the model A
Love the van. Would be cool to see another hot rod inspired build like the wagon. They are twins after all
PFS logos over the TV cable logos, put that 283 and 200r you have in this, and bag it, perfect merch van for the smaller events and a perfect shop van aswell, love these vans. And a new map is a must, that's to freaking cool. Damn good score.
I like the van; these were new when I was young. Shawnee, Oklahoma.
Having them yank it for you is a blessing, give that injured hand time to fully heal.
Most definitely a six banger and automatic with a cable activated shift would work . Really like the concept and this van is another time machine my friend. Be careful and stay safe my friend God love ya .
I'm not a van or wagon guy but I love your content! 100% one of the most under rated channels on the TH-cam!!
I'd put one of the later model Chevy 4200 inline 6's in that. They have great power and would probably sit in that real nice.
I thought about that too, it was actually the first thing that came to mind. Personally I’d still rather have a v8 but a 4200 would be an excellent option (especially if it has a big ol’ turbo). 😬
Collab with Nivlac57!!!
When you looked at it on your walk around, I partner jumped into the screen. I love her and then you bought her home just blew my head off. I love that van please please fix her up nicely cause she needs it and yes, I’m excited and I love it.
Feels like the 2nd channel video should have been a main channel video and vice versa.
But then i thought: "I don't care, more Puddin', more gooder!"
Let's GO!
I don’t even notice the difference in the 2 channels. Any gud car stuff or talkin or Theo or burritos and I’ll watch! I enjoyed the shop paint and construction just as much as the square body!
I always liked those vans too.
ALRIGHT ALLRIGH ALLRIGHT!!!! That van is going to be so kool to build!! I'm jealous!! Can't wait to see what you do to it!! C'Mon!!!
UPDATE: after watching the whole video. I found myself geekin out with excitement with you. My hearts beating like I just bought it myself and started making plans with you. Pretty awesome score. You are on the right track with slamming it, bag it if its possible and ls swap it for everyday reliablity. AND DRIVE THE WHEELS OFF IT!!! WOO HOO!! LETS GO! LoL
Please don't ls swap it! Put a small block Chevy in it and drive it
Build it man!!! OLD SCHOOL CHEVY Vans are SWEET!!!
I’m a v8 guy so that be my choice for a drivetrain but as someone else suggested the Vortec 4200 straight 6 would be a great option. (As long as you turbo it) 🙃 Also I vote on bagging it!
Totally get Calvin from @nivlac57 to help with the engine build
Hey Puddin! I bought one of those vans in Kansas City in 1983, and drove it all the way to Maine and back. I used it working for a garage door company, hauled all my tools, parts, garage doors and openers. I loved that van! We had just one kid at the time, so we bolted a carseat to the doghouse, where he could sit between Mom and Dad. The shift linkage was a little worn out, but it ran like a top! Someone had replaced the shift knob with a piece of an antler. I wish I had it now!
I cannot believe you found a 1966 Chevy van in that condition. My favorite vehicle to drive when I was a kid.
I love it!! My dad had a retired 67 from the phone company. We used it for vacations. The top speed was 55 so they weren’t fast lol it was the first thing I ever drove and it’s also how I learned to drive a manual. Some of my best childhood memories were in that van! Have any questions hit me up.
It's the Van King delivery. Can't wait for this build come on !
The van is sweet. Cant wait to see it come along
That van is great! I love the wood bumper. Reminds me of back in 75 when I was in a carpenter apprenticeship school and one of the guys had lost his front bumper and made a new bumper out of straight grained oak. He took a lot of pride in it. He had some curves in it and routed it to look what he thought as really cool. Hard times back then. I eventually kept my factory job and gave up on the apprenticeship because no one was working as a carpenter back then. I went to college for a while but it was hard going to school during the day and working all night. You do have to sleep sometime. I eventually got an electrical apprenticeship with my factory job. Just retired from my factory job after 50 years. Uncle Henry was very good to me. Glad I stayed.
Love that van!!! Independent suspension and air ride Great ideas.
I could hang out with y'all for hours thanks for taking us along.
I had one of these vans. It had a 195 ci 6 cylinder, three on the tree while I was real young. Wish I still had it. Can't wait to watch this build.
You’ve had two bangers for videos this week!
WOW. That is an incredible find. When you said it was in the dirt, I imagined rusted out floors and everything below.
I definitely think you should do air ride. I’ve see a couple of them laid out on air and they were super sick! 🚐
I am somewhat of a self taught Van expert and judging by the linkages and the doghouse on that van I can definitively say that that Van did indeed have a motor in it.
Very cool little van
Patina outside, full paint and interior. And a dog box for Theo! I daily a 2003 Ford van and I love van life.
I don’t usually get excited about band. But,,,,,,, you found a jewel!!!! This could be sooooooooo sweet!!!
I bet the shackles flipped when they forked it moving it. Thanks Puddin!!!
My husband G and I love this video and the van. We can't wait to see what you make out of it. Looking forward to the build and the videos.
As soon as you got Theo, I just saw Shaggy and Scooby, now you've gone and got a van, with cragars, I'm seeing Mystery Machine. Certainly a t shirt design or sticker. Looking forward to seeing the transformation.
Carry on the great work, you Slick, Bill, Mortske, Zack
I said mystery machine too!
Love the van Puddin. I'm excited to see you build it.
My brother garey... Had one of these. My fav memory of him is of me riding with him in his. It had a mushroom window on it. I was play with my new captain chruch toy (at least 1980) it was a ballon skateboard. I can hear him laugh just before he jumps a railroad track and sends me flying. I was in the back playing. It had oil lamps... Brown house carpet and mirror boarder with brown brush strokes on the mirrors. Lol typical hippy van. Love it✌️👊
Brings back memories of my 1965 SWB 6 cylinder 3 speed !!!!! Plum crazy paint and big Cragar SS wheels !!! Thanks Diane for the purple curtains!!!😊😊😊😊😊😊🍺🍺🍺🍺🍺
3 boys it’s “hold my beer time”!
Hi Puddin! On this Memorial Day I just want to thank you and all the men and women who fought for this country to make it free! Thank you for videos and all you bring to us. I salute you!
Puddin’ , this is my Favorite Van ever…!!! We restored and Kustomized many 60’s vans ( Dodges, Ford Econolines) But my friend had a Chevy like that and we did it up right …
From much conversion experience , go easy on the interior , plywood , etc. Many times the conversions pushed the GVW limit …. ( half ton eh ) and the usual 6 cylinders were bogged down with the extra weight ( doggy ) … Our final effort was painted nicely in the interior , with just some nice carpet remnants on the floor ( cheap) … with the Light weight really it zipped around , and could be used for anything … carrying or marrying …
Love the Van , Love the show …
and please be Careful !!!
If you live in the snow belt like me, My '66 A-100 Dodge van was so light in the back, I swapped the rear bumper for a railroad tie, to keep it from getting stuck on top of the snow. Mine had absolutely no rust, it was a California utility van, that was used for hauling surf boards.
In 1975 I owned a 66 sportvan..window version.
FYI, I found a pair of AMC bucket seats in a salvage yard...both bolted right in. The DS adjuster even worked. That van ended up driving from Alaska to Arkansas in 79 or 80. Sure brought back fond memories memories .
Beautiful Van, Puddin. Sittin' in your yard, it reminds me of a Hot Wheels Van.
Hey Brother PUDDIN, I had an '68 same burnt orange , 3 on tree HOT BOX ON SUMMER TIMES, BUT WAS COOL RIDE . ENJOYING U MAN & GANGSTER.
"I know you're not in park" 🤣🤣 EPIC
Hey puddin you can put oven cleaner and let it set for a bit on the snow cone trucks artwork and it should take it off.
Bag it! 🙏
What an awesome van. I had a Ford 1969 step van. Can’t wait to see this build.
Can't wait to see this thing on the ground where it belongs with the custom "Puddin in bibs vanquishing a dragon" airbrushed on the side.
Glad you went back and got that van, can't wait to see what you do with her. Thanks for sharing and God bless
LOVE the van. Can’t wait for this one. COME ON!
I had the same van in 1973 when I was 18. I put on fact wheels red shag carpet on the floor and on the box I built in the back for a bed. My father helped me put in wood paneling on the ceiling and walls. This is when the vans were highly desirable and very popular. Mine was white. I traded it 6 months later for a 210 57 2dr with solid strait axel for that gasser look.?I wished I could have kept them both. Oh well marriage and four kids later! That’s life!
The van is SICK! Cant wait for this
That van body is in great shape! I think with your imagination and fabrication skills you can make it into something really cool and neat! 👍
Looking forward to the van work!
I love this van. Always wanted one myself but not found one yet in good shape. let's
build this beast.
The van is a nice addition to the fleet. Can’t wait to see what you do with it.
The van is awesome! I can't wait to see this thing get built and what you have in store for it. I love projects like this.
I remember riding those vans and I remember thinking flying through the front window?😂
Love you Puddin, love the new van! Bless your whole family and thank you for always setting my day straight when I watch at 3 am before I'm off to my endless job! ❤❤❤
Love it. I’m always look for old vans on the marketplace but never pull the trigger. Glad you are going to build one for us!
Worked for a radio/tv repair in the 60’s drove 62 ford econoline van. I bought it in 69 rebuilt the inline 6 and drove it another year. I drove it to Lew Williams car dealership in CC Texas in the 60-early 70’s where your wagon came from! Good memories! Take care keep up the good work!
This will definitely be a fun one. Just when you think ideas have run out, you have 10 more. Keep being you Jacob, you're awesome!
Van guy here, you and Theo got your very own mystery machine! My father drove us around in a 65 or 66 econoline!
This is gonna be one of my favorite builds. I love these old vans.
The Van is awesome!! Go all the way with this one please 🙏🏽.
I had a long wheel base years ago. It came with windows all the way around and side and rear double doors. She got the deluxe garage paint and interior. Packed her with a 350- four barrel, black jack headers and a 400 turbo trans.
I loved opening the engine hatch while driving and seeing/hearing that 350 perform.
One of my best rides.
That's definitely one of the earliest Chevy vans of that style. And the patina is great. Gonna love seeing what you do with it.
old truck guy is good value. Has energy. Also super keen!
That is one of the coolest vans made in my opinion I can’t wait to see what you do with it
My Dad had a 64 with a big V-8, a 12” steering wheel with NO power steering and 3 on the tree. Lots of great memories in that van. I like your taste.
I’m so glad I found this channel
I FREAKEN LOVE VANS! We know you will do us proud!
Been dreaming of one of those vans for over a decade. Haven’t found one that clean yet. 👍🏼👍🏼
Looks killer and yeah I’d make it look just like the wagon. Sauce, steelies, caps and stance. 🤩
Thing’s pretty sweet! Amazing condition. I like Zach he seems like a really cool guy
SLAM IT!!!!! It would be a lot of work, but it would be totally worth it. Build what you want. It's your van in the end.
Theodore on the side painted up like the mystery machine and I believe the mystery machine was puddin fab shop blue
Very excited to watch the progress of this beauty.
My first vehicle was a 64 Ford Falcon Van. Had E.T. Slots and the Eagle GTs. It was 1986. Loved it.
I've owned both a Ford and a Chevy van of this era. My Chev had a heated up 6, limited slip and slot mags. It was a work van and always had some weight in it. Great in the snow. Remember these are a front mid engine. They handle surprisingly well for a beam axle. Add some sway bars and good shocks. I actually autocrossed the Chev.
Super pumped for some good quality van content, can't wait to see what you do with it, watching all the way from New Zealand
excited to watch the van build . start with a comfortable seating position , or you'll never want to drive it . more frequent videos please
