I made a very detailed video visually showing what you said on ki blast and melee impact on my channel. Also touched up on the weak audio. You will see things that you might’ve not noticed
highly recommend that video guys: th-cam.com/video/-MULH-IVmu0/w-d-xo.html
@@SpaceCadet1313 High respects! Tryna make a vid on dragon dash cancels too since you mentioned it, wish you showed all the variations like angles high speed movement after a grab or the vortex dash
@@MoPiccolo I know there are variations I just dont know how to do them lol
@@SpaceCadet1313 It’s difficult but worth learning, and I would tell you to practice, but it might not be in SZ. Idk if bt3 is a game u play regularly. I’m still gonna play bt3 even after SZ release but I just hope it’s comes back. But I guess it would help convince people it needs to return in vids when you show them all techniques
@@MoPiccolo I play with the pros on net play I’m just one of the lower tier players
the camera orbiting the beam clash feels really weird
Also the camera seems too far to the right. It’s starting to feel and look like kakarot
You mean to the left?
Agreed. The graphics don’t look real like BT3
@@inthebooks3947man I been saying this. The graphic style feels flat. I like bt3 felt like you were playing the show.
@@inthebooks3947crazy BT4/sparking zero doesn’t look like it’s prequel that came out 17 years ago
@@0wonder exactly it looks like DBZ Kakarot not BT3. I don’t like it, it looks flat & doesn’t look like a proper tenkaichi game
The only thing i didn't like was the switch to black after every last big hit and i really hope they bring back some of the OG voice actors
the game has no competitive future, just wait.
I hope not man I just want a modern bt3...
@@SpaceCadet1313facts I do not want this to be competitive
What im afraid is the ultimate attack. Its been so long since DB games have an ultimate attack. I don't want it to be like xenoverse ult or db kakarot ult where it just a big Kamehameha or big spirit bomb type of attack. I want it just like any other tenkaichi games ultimate attack where it has an animation playing for like 7 seconds. For example, DB legends ultimate. Unfortunately for now when I saw the gameplay, the ultimate looks the same like xenoverse and kakarot. I hate those two game they're awfull especially xenoverse, the controls are terrible.
With the Super Perceptive move. I don't think it's pointless and honestly as a Raging Blast fan boy, I think it's better then how Raging Blast did it. It took no skill and you can just deflect for free meanwhile Sparking Zero did it to make it more strategic, yes you can dodge and vanish it but what if you're caught in a situation where you have to use it and that's what makes it such a cool mechanic
All in all I'm not worried for Sparking Zero at all, well mainly one thing, I'm more worried about the Online modes, I wanna do 5v5 with friends or randoms similar to FighterZ's party match feature
I really agree with you about the beam struggles. Beam struggles are meant to be an intense battle of energy blasts and I think that mashing a button (like in the BT4 mod) conveys the feeling of intensity much better than pressing a button at regular intervals in a timing based mini game. In BT3 the beams collided and pushed each other, whoever turned the joystick better won, there was intensity. Now, the rays seem to remain in the center of the screen and do not seem to really push each other. And I can understand that joysticks rotation can ruin the controller but button mashing risks absolutely nothing and it's not like you will be mashing the button all the time because you'll not do beam struggle all the time. Hoping that there will be an option to change the beam struggle system (like in Naruto Storm 1 where you can change the ultimate jutsu system with either the analog spinning, the button mashing or the inputs based mini game). But people flammed on Reddit saying that button mashing would absolutely ruin the controller and the new system was the best.
Totally agree
Facts
I won't argue for or against, but I can promise you as someone who has been playing games for almost my entire life, I have lost a few controllers to buttons sinking into the controllers from all the button mashing I've done over the years. Buttons are more durable, but they can in fact still ruin a controller with excessive use.
@@cloud132456 beam clashes really don’t happen that often so I don’t see it as an issue. You basically have to do it on purpose between both players
@@SpaceCadet1313 Same argument then. Why not keep analog then if it happened rarely to begin with? Shouldn't be a problem then to just keep the joystick rotation gameplay if it happens rarely right?
What is this ost its always on my mind n I can't find it
the first one?
@@SpaceCadet1313 yes sir
@@onnom100 tracking dragon
@@SpaceCadet1313 appreciate you bro
Is that the rb sound track
It’s a mix of Budokai, Budokai Tenkaichi, and raging blast songs yes
I like the gameplay and I like this way better and I do not what to Break my PS5 controller that way I hate the old way I have to kept buying new PS2 controller
Again I was talking about mashing not spinning the analog stick. You’re gonna be hitting your buttons hard if you play this game online that’s nothing to worry about. That’s cool if you like the gameplay I just don’t want this to end up flopping and people have to realize the movement is the most important thing to prevent that from happening. Tenkaichi 3 is alive to this day because of it.
@@SpaceCadet1313 Excessive button mashing can still destroy controllers. I've had buttons sink into the controller because of excessive button mashing. it isn't just analog sticks that this happens too.
@@cloud132456 well, the beams should still struggle against each other, I understand what you’re saying
@@SpaceCadet1313yea buttons are more likely to jam but I do agree you wanting it to be immersive
I agree with almost everything you said, i hope this video and others come across them.
I hate the old way you have to break your PS2 controller to win plus what happen if I what to play a super hero game I can not do that sense I have a breaking controller I glad they fix that problem
Button mashing is not gonna break your controller. Beam clashes don’t happen in online anyways unless it’s intentional for the most part anyways.
Bro Learn Vocabulary…
@@SpaceCadet1313Bro, beam clashes definitely happen on accident. And there are people that see clashes as easy damage. Also using super dash definitely takes ki in BT, and Considering normal movement is as fast as what was actually considered fast in BT3, there's no problem. If anything it gives more movent options considering the BT normal dash was solely to consistently move faster, while the quick dash is a small burst of speed specifically for like dodging and bridging small gaps. I feel like there's more movement. The BT3 movement is flawed and the mashing is unfair towards people who actually can't do that whether it be because a lack of ability or medical problems that actually prevent that. The UI should stay plain because it's easily understandable within a small period and doesn't draw away from the visuals of the actual battle, which was probably the point.
@@SpaceCadet1313I have controllers that actually required tape to keep it together because of the amount of Mashing I had to do while using it, not those buttons don't even always register, and it also splits the controller shell over time due to pressure.
@@AriesUchiha No, in a competitive online match, if you expect to hit someone with a beam you're gonna miss every time. If they know what they're doing they will just vanish it. You're just wasting Ki. Play me on netplay and I'll show you how futile it is. I've been doing netplay for over a year and never once have I been in a beam clash that was not intentional by both players. There are three types of movement shown in the sparking zero trailers, regular movement, a dash, and a dragon dash, same for BT3. A dragon dash takes Ki in BT3, but not a regular dash. In the sparking Zero gameplay trailer, regular dashing takes Ki. It doesnt matter if normal movement is faster because you cant use normal movement to flank. You really missed me with "the movement in bt3 is flawed" lmao. Again, I'd love to get on netplay with you and show you a thing or two.
Main problem with this is spending too much money on other characters
Do we really what break PS5 controller plus the price it to high I not taking a chance
Button mashing won’t do that lol I understand why we can’t have the analog stick input this time around
hopefully enough see this
At least they use DBZ Kakarot models instead of the terrible Xenoverse models.
I mean yeah the game looks good for sure
They are using models similar to DBZK but they aren't the same
I thought the same thing about the super attacks
Sparking Zero isn't looking as good as BT3 tbh, I'm keeping my expectations low cause it looks like a slower paced more restrictive BT3 which for some so many games that get sequels in the modern age have the exact same problem like Smash Bros.
It’s literally faster and even stated to be faster and restricted how?
I don't even get why he said "restrictive"
Ahh okay lil things
All that camera swaying is gonna make me nauseus
