I know this game does have a loyal fan base so the title doesn't apply to whoever they may be but, after the release of Dragon ball the breakers, I never really heard about it again. but I came across it again recently so.. I decided to make this video!

no one forgot this game.... i still sees many people hating this game although i am still playing it and i like it
Really though the people I see talking about it are all apart of the community of players. But a lot of people that never played it forgot it ever existed.
I do think the game is strangely fun though
It's no surprise people hate this game but we are the few that stick to it and enjoy it for what it is.
The only thing that makes me not really want to play it anymore is the queue system so I hope they rework that soon

I actually like Breakers, it's something original in the ocean of dragon ball fighting games and has an entertaining gameplay loop. I'm having a lot of fun with the current season, even though it has less content than the last. I hope the game continues to receive support
I agree it is nice to have something original since every dragon ball game is just fighting through the story of dragon ball basically. I felt the same with sandland aswell
I started playing around 2 weeks ago, and I have to say that I find this game both fun, but also incredibly frustrating. One of my big problems is that this game is not newbie player friendly: when you're sent into a game as a survivor with an experienced raider, or play as a raider with experienced survivors, your chances of winning are super low, and losing mutliple games in a row is really frustrating. I also find the fighting in the game not really intuitive, every time I try to fight I'm unable to do effectively, but I somehow almost always get jumped by really experienced survivors as a raider, unable to really do anything and then losing the game. Some raiders like Baby are super unfair, and if you want to use them, they're mostly locked behind the premium currency, which isn't the best. But despite this, even if the gameplay is a bit repetitive, and they could improve on some fronts like communication between survivors in game, I am still enjoying the game and have learned quite a bit from actually losing so many times, and of all the DB games I have played, this is definietly one of the most unique ideas for a DB game I have seen
Yeah the game has a few balancing issues they need to work out but fighting is a big one for me, as a survivor the fighting isn’t great. And it’s almost useless unless you are with multiple people or your using it to escape. And if your a raider your just insanely op and you knock someone down after like 5 hits
its not forgotten, sometimes season announcement for it pops-out in Dokkan Battle and Xenoverse 2.
Yeah that’s fair. Although I can’t imagine xenoverse still has a huge playerbase anymore. Unless people are playing it to get ready for sparking zero
Anime skins aren't exactly pointless because they come with exclusive skills, including knowing where all the Dragonballs are (Baba: Dragonball Diviner) or instant revival on a 2 minute cooldown (Dende: Let me Heal You!). Like any other skill if you get them to +10, (or +1 for the non-enhancable ones), you can equip them to your OC instead of having to use their skin. But they do cost TP therefore eventually you need to spend real money to get those skills.

It’s still pay to win if the option to pay is there though
I’m glad they did make this a option though, but you have to play a ton
As a longtime player since the beta, I'm happy to see this game isn't forgotten. Even with bad balance changes and annoying updates that seem to drive away players, it's always had something fun to come back to. I really think a few small changes would make this really thrive, like going F2P or on things like the Xbox Game Pass, as the gacha system and the clothing surely make more money than any new players coming in at this point. I might not play it as much now as I used to, but I do hope it keeps getting updates from the small team working on Breakers.
I think going free to play would be a good decision, it could bring In all the people who felt the game wasn’t worth paying for or just forgot the game existed. And they definitely make enough off of skins and clothes to compensate. I’ll probably come back to play it after the next major update I hope they fix lot of the issues I mentioned too.

Honestly the games a blast to play with Friends if only the game had more players and dedicated servers cuz man it has potential
I wish I had to some friends that would play it, but I did meet a bunch of cool random people
I am playing it i would of loved it.. but I wish the game would remind players this is like a testing ground for XenoVerse 3 or dlc for XenoVerse 2 it gets frustrating and also i play for the cross over items
I loved the xenoverse game. I don’t think it’s a testing ground though, more of a spin-off. But I’m hopeful for a xenoverse 3

well when goku black came out the game was at its peak other then 1st anniversary
when broly came out but season 6 with super baby 2 just killed the game for a lot of people

@@GoldenYT01not just baby s6 itself they dont have a survivor skin free from the pass like all the seasons and the models from the characters are reused so they arent even trying
I've heard humors that they want to fix the servers a little i hope thats true
If they fixed the servers I might consider going back and playing it again but they are so janky right now

@@foxstrunz3933 yeah they reused so many assets dont even get me started with the amount of reused assets for great ape baby, they nerfed survivors to the ground they cant even dodge anymore and the roll you can do in your base state is just for style points now and so far it seems we are just getting 3 new transpheres ssj3 goku ssj4 goku and ssj4 vegeta

@GoldenYT01 they're not, not even close to being op honestly. The only one that u could say it's really good is goku black and that's about it really. It's so easy to win as a survivor just by jumping the raider when their low level or when their destroying the stm. It's also really easy to escape them with instant transmission and all the other op active skills. Clearly it's just a skill issue but I don't blame u for not trying to get good at this unbalance and mostly terrible game 🤣
It’s definitely not a skill issue since everyone complains about it. But yeah I only played this game for 5 days😂, and goku black is definitely not the only op one, I would put baby up there too now, and I also said raiders are op toward solo survivors, yes you can instant transmission or use the Saiyan pod but it really only buys you time. And 9/10 the survivors are left no choice but to escape and the raider wins
@GoldenYT01 see now ik u don't know what ur talking about when u said baby is op. In what world is having to infect 5 civs/people to get ur level 2 op when u can't fly or do anything besides run around. There's a youtuber called ironcane who will be able to bring u up to speed on why ur wrong just by watching a couple of his raider videos. He's basically the guy who's keeping the game alive at this point. I promise u it is a skill issue but like I said, I would nit recommend u to even try and get good at this game until the game becomes good (which will probably never happen at this rate)
No your right he’s not op I used the wrong word. He’s annoying and toxic to play against. I also don’t really care enough about the game to watch metas or whatever for the game on TH-cam. Maybe in the future when they fix the queue system I’ll come back and play and learn more about the game but playing survivor every game burns me out too much to play anymore
