Groovy baby, always like the love younger people have digging the best music of my life, when I was young in the 1960’s and 70’s 🎉. Can’t wait till you get into Grateful Dead, Quicksilver Messenger Service the best of the San Francisco sounds of the mid to late 60’s 😊
Three of my all time favorites are David Bowie, The Beatles, and Jim Croce and hearing other people talk about them is always exciting. Also great taste shouting out “I’ll Have to Say I Love You in a Song”, in my opinion the most underrated Croce song ever. It is such a shame he never got to see how beloved that album would become.
I found a original pressing of "All things must pass" at a garage sale for $2.00 a.d it came with the original large fold out poster of George. I almost died.
Jim Croce pronounced his last name, CRO-chee. I don't recall which Klaatu album started getting them notice as being The Beatles but, by the 4th album, the not only stopped sounding like The Beatles but also started listing the names of the band members on each album. They've got 6 albums that I know of. I still haven't found the 6th but it's more of a collection of their stuff with unreleased stuff. At least two of the guys in the band are still making solo records and, sometimes, all 3 play on a couple tracks per album. All Things Must Pass isn't that hard to come by. I might be able to get one for about $10, or so.
What wonderful music and taste you have.If i had a time machine i would go back to 1967 to see Pink Floyd and The Soft Machine in blighty and The Seeds and The Doors in the states. Do you know the british band Kaleidoscope? Try Dear Nellie Goodritch and The Sky Children by them if you dont and see what you think. Best Wishes x

The Monkees Headquarters album features all the members of the band playing all the instruments themselves. It’s also my favorite Monkees album too!
As an American I’m very jealous of your original uk Beatles collection!! So good
