I searched up record vinyl collection vids because I love to see what other people have, and yours is so fun! I officially started collecting vinyl 3 years ago and have a little over 40, but my mom has a chest full of old ones from when she was younger including the sound of music, the Beatles and the grease soundtrack. Those are what made we want to get my own player and start collecting, and I am so happy I did.
This is hands down my favorite vinyl collection video ever! I’m so stoked you have all Kate bush records! She is one of my favorite singers ever too. From now on I’ll start listening to some of the stuff that you showed us! Thanks for sharing!
Glad to see some different records because I always end up seeing the same albums in these videos 😅. Not that its obscure, but seeing Talk Talk in here is unexpected in a good way.

Great diversity---In Rainbows, Is This It, In Utero, AM, and the Velvet Underground & Nico are great albums that I play a lot as well. We have different albums by St. Vincent and Haim.

The vinyl LPs you showcased in this video pretty much match my musical tastes and collection! Broken Social Scene's LP, David Bowie's Low LP, etc. are amazing and cool!

Heaven or Las Vegas, Illinoise, Titanic Rising are also some of my favorite records! I also love Bon Iver and Beach House but my favorite of them are 22, A Million and Bloom
Wow, a great collection there Briana. I love that you are so young but also really dig the 60's and 70's music. btw: I totally agree that Revolver is the best Beatles album and imo Tomorrow Never Knows is the best track on it. All the tracks are good though. Also love your hair style. 😍

This is a great collection which now doubt given me discovering this video 5 months later has already expanded ;-)
I'm really impressed that most of your records are new or seems new at the very least.
I probably have 500-600 records myself but most of them (50-60%) are used, some are in poor condition, well, the sleeve I mean, the records are ok to good.
The editing must have been daunting but great just cutting several hours to 45 minutes. I appreciate your presentation (for lack of better words) and who cares if it's not flawless, on the contrary it makes it more genuine besides what matters is sharing your experiences and your love of music. Thank you for that.
There are many that I didn't know of, some that have heard of but are not for me, and some that I love too.
Also, Breakfast in America was one of the first record I ever owned, 8 y/o me got it as a present along with Dark Side of the Moon.
Still have both of them, they still sound good.

Should never apologize for liking Prince or what ever you like. I was into Maddona when I was young. Now my favorite band is Shinedown which I went the hard rock, metal way. I love all kinds of music but I really like a good vocalists. Brent Smith Shinedown , Chris Cornell, Mshadows A7X and Bruno Mars & so many more!!
i love seeing someone whos a fan of 80s, alt and ts. i hate when people think theyre cool bc they dont like mainstream music so its amazing to see someone with such variety (like me lol)

You are so real and genuine, wish u were my one and only friend. Glory Box is indeed a top all time song and one of the best album closers. I'm 40 records in and I highly recommend Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness. It has become my all time favorite followed by Random Access Memories, In Rainbows and Pauls Boutique.
Great videos while a lot of the music wouldn't really be to my tastes its great to see your passion for music especially vinyl....major thumbs up though for the De La Soul and Violator AKA the greatest album ever! Hopefully you find time to do the 45s sometime

Although most of these albums and artists are not my cup of tea, I'm still very impressed with your collection. And from one life-long Kate Bush fan to another (I first saw her on Saturday Night Live in December of 1978) I highly recommend her 4lp box set "Before The Dawn," of her historic 2014 live concerts at the Hammersmith Apollo (she broke a Hammersmith record by selling out over 100,000 tickets in less than 15 minutes). It is a stunning live album with fantastic sound quality. Kate's performance is flawless and she is backed-up by an all star KILLER band. Cheers!
My wishlist on Discogs is like 1700 CDs and vinyls long and most of those are albums I want on both so I have both in my wishlist list, I always thaught that was too many till I saw yours and it reassured me that I’m not the only one 😅

i love stevie! i definitely need to get a few more from him.
i'm not exactly sure what my most wanted is, i can't think of anything super rare off the top of my head. i'd love to have tidal by fiona apple but the resale prices can be a little wild. so i'll go with that.

You're a Kate Bush fan AND she's what got you to check out more music AND your favorite album of hers is Never For Ever? That's my experience with her too, I actually found Kate Bush through Florence + The Machine and Anthony Fantano's classic review of Hounds of Love, and then I fell down the rabbithole. I'm not into her stuff post Hounds but I adore her earlier work.
I'm also a huge fan of Fiona Apple, my favorite record of hers is 100% When the Pawn but I respect any choice.
I need to get my hands on that Illinois album. My god that thing is incredible. Even people who I've shown it to who see it as pretty "hipster-y" enjoy it.

Nothing wrong with red and blue Beatles albums. That's the best place to start with them in my opinion.

I watched right through A genuinely great horde of eclectic recordings Kate Bush wow a fantastic artist She lives close by to me In Kent in the UK. I was lucky enough to meet her drummer at a wedding (prob1 of many) blessed as I am getting hired to play selections of Vinyl records chosen for guests . As a sleep aide. May I humbly recommend reggae as a genre . Marley is a great starting point but the style is vast , dub works excellently , as does most Classical
omg your speaking voice is incredibly lovely. sweet collection. def recommend more tapes and a decent deck. also, i finally just got my first beatles albums, i say abbey road is an excellent first, wonderful sounding timeless gem of a production, relatively easy to come by. was on a revolver kick all day today hahah! when the pawn... portishead third🤘🏼more radiohead yes! oddly in rainbows is one i'd love to but don't have. meanwhile, i literally have both 12" / 10" of both kid-a and amnesiac. believe you might appreciate diiv albums 'is the is are' & 'deceiver' and check out soundtrack to electroma by daftpunk including billyjack by curtis mayfield. listen to medulla by bjork and please listen to 'from the lions mouth' by "the sound" they were the enigmatic brother band of sorts of joy division, singer adrian borland also was a victim of suicide, the two bands were friends and big fans of one another. that particular album is such a gem. and if you need to open to more electronic stuff since you dig daft punk and also godspeed, i think you may dig some aphex twin, 'i care because you do' and 'selected ambient works 1985-1992' and 'selected ambient works vol ii' but more specifically cause you like that godspeed album, check out jesu, a project of justin broadrick more known for his work as godflesh. this ambient guitar driven shoegaze sound is one i think you can appreciate, but even closer to that album, his project "final" long ambient drones. okay and everything allesandro cortini. i'll shut up before i go off on a NIN tangent. also also, please don't lay face down in the middle of the road. what an immaculate brain and beautiful person. holy hell, i adore you 😍

My advise is to get yourself the album of Shelleyan Orphan called Century Flower/ I think it's better than Cocteau Twins since the music of CT is too technical ( I have both though ) I also reccomend the album of Future Islands - On the water. a real great stuff У тебя нет уважительной причины отказываться

Jeff Buckley is likely to appeal to 'young girls' more directly, bear in mind! Spirit of Eden, Superfly and MisEducation of LH are masterpieces. Kick Inside, VU and Nico, Hissing of Summer Lawns, Diamond Dogs .....essential in any serious collection. You might like Beth Gibbons solo Lp, a few 'levels' up from her Portishead efforts and My Life in the Bush of Ghosts which makes the very good Talking Heads Lp's look 'amateur'.
