She’s a beast isn’t she! I tried to start a career in her, first mission I got sent up, free hunt, single ship, got bounced by 8 190s, not even the mossie could get out of it!
Your flight engineer (or whatever) seems a rather stoic chap - never says a word or changes expression! The least he could do would be to watch your 6. Good mission, Taff. Love the mosquito!
Not quite sure the landing was of the three-point perfect variety; a bit Skippy the bush kangaroo for me, but at least he walked away from it in one piece. lol
If I played this in VR I would probably jump every time I turned my head and saw that co-pilot. Especially if I had not looked that way for a while and forgot he's there.
Instead of telling our aviators "good luck," I would tell them "good hunting." 👊At 15:39 I wanted to ask the enemy, "how's that low altitude parachute working out?" but it turns out I was just a bit late 🤣
I'm enjoying all the patch stuff, just one thing.....the new propeller effect hasn't sold itself to me - I don't know why the reflection would 'cycle' or rotate like that. If the light source is from a constant directions, the reflection should be relatively constant for the same camera angle. Example is obvious at 1:38, hopefully its clear what I'm talking about. It immediately struck me when I saw it for the first time, it again immediately stands out the moment I see the props here. It looks totally wrong.
I've been noticing over the years that you're becoming quite the deadly combat pilot Taff. Your skills at particularly deflection shooting, situational awareness and tactical decision making have steadily improved and I'm finding myself wondering how you'd go in a real fighter at the time of the war in Europe (not that I'd wish that on you).
Brilliant! The fire (approx) 9.10 minutes was as best could be done without a result? Sh.ush happens? Just like everybody else, a mosquito mission is 'wanted' but will watch anyway? Pax dude.
Amazing how the cannons work as they should - unlike in DCS where you have a delay caused by the developers not understanding how the electro-pneumatic firing system on British aircraft cannon operated. And being too arrogant to admit they are wrong. Correct as is, thread closed :-))))))
Never...onestly.!Thats quit different to the real...i think he makes it years...exercise!!But when he will Fly in real...no chance with 109 ..thats real...i am no Kraut
You did that attack almost completely backward. RAF doctrine says you should drop your bombs first on the main target, then loose off your rockets at AA positions, and finally strafe with guns on targets of opportunity. Your confusion over the target was clearly a result of your failing to study the photographs of the target closely enough before the mission. Suggest you do your homework more diligently in future!
The 109 pilot who went splat, though,
Yeah, sad ending.
She’s a beast isn’t she! I tried to start a career in her, first mission I got sent up, free hunt, single ship, got bounced by 8 190s, not even the mossie could get out of it!
Mosquito career would be worth watching.
Amazing graphics. Gotta love a Mosquito. More please
Your flight engineer (or whatever) seems a rather stoic chap - never says a word or changes expression! The least he could do would be to watch your 6. Good mission, Taff. Love the mosquito!
It seems that EVERY RAF pilot in IL2 was dating Joy Lofthouse...
Excellent mission, really hope you do, do a career in one, your aim was scary good! 😲 that 109 pilot though 🤣 ouch! 😬
Great mission and it needs a series for sure.
What a beautiful and capable aircraft.
Good hunting Taff!
Have you been enjoying the new damage model they put in? Where the damage is now specific instead of generic shown on the bodywork
The Mosquito was such a quintessential piece of british wartime engineering. You have GOT to do a career in this bird
Superb mission, Taff. Good ground strafing, good ground attack, good air fight and a landing without bugs. Well done!
Not quite sure the landing was of the three-point perfect variety; a bit Skippy the bush kangaroo for me, but at least he walked away from it in one piece. lol
Great flying your gunnery skills have improved massively 👍🏻
Gotta love those 20mm cannons
You can tell the 109 pilots were from the Eastern Front. Neat camera work. Mossi is the 007 of British warplanes.
If I played this in VR I would probably jump every time I turned my head and saw that co-pilot. Especially if I had not looked that way for a while and forgot he's there.
Yup, it's a bit disconcerting that the navigator's facial expression doesn't change when you've rattled his dentures with a heavy landing! 🤨
Nice shootin’ there, Hoss.
Great video Taff. Another vote for the Mosquito career campaign
Career? Yes! Good flying today!
That was quite the bellyflop.
Mossie Career would be great.

He'll be fine. Walk it off.
hes fine hes just taking a nap.
I'm amazed how manoeuvrable it is .. and how strong the under carriage is .. for those very fast, very high landings ... :D
Damn, here was I thinking it was the start of a new campaign.
You definitely need to start a campaign in the mozzie.

I love Mosquitos (the plane not the insect)
Please show the map in the beginning again :) It's more immersive when you can get a sense of location and direction :)
Nice to hear Christian Horner plays IL-2 in his spare time.
I wish I could keep my plane as steady as you do while zoomed in max like that. My control inputs probably aren’t calibrated correctly. Great video!

Mossie career? Doooooo it!
DH Mossy was a beast of an aircraft
Great videos Taff.
Enjoyed that!
Mozzy, top bird......
This mission reminds me the classic war movie Mosquito Squadron.
The Mossie is one of the great aircraft. No wonder a Luftwaffe pilot who shot one down got two kills.
633 Squadron on the attack😉👍
And.... Kerr Splat 😂😂😂
Is this recorded in VR? If not, what are the settings you used for these graphics??
Brilliant! The fire (approx) 9.10 minutes was as best could be done without a result? Sh.ush happens? Just like everybody else, a mosquito mission is 'wanted' but will watch anyway?
Pax dude.
Pls do a career in this taff 🤞🏻🤞🏻🥳
That third 109 pilot was alive when he jumped out, but he landed a tad heavy, and more than likely will spend the rest of the war in traction! 😬
poor Fritz bounced
Excellent channel 👏
Watched and 👍 Liked
My grandad was with 305 squadron 👍❤
New propeller is really good!!
More mossi missions please
15:46 kinda looks like Sebastian.....
to day the call it a cruise missel
I still wonder, what was the rationale behind having a navigator? 🤔
Does anyone know what hardware he's using to look around?
TrackIR!?
Ah, they don't make 'em like Bert Morrison anymore, sadly.
Boolon sir mare?
Don't go to France man.
Nice video, though.

Taff, did you ever do a Mosquito career?
Never...onestly.!Thats quit different to the real...i think he makes it years...exercise!!But when he will Fly in real...no chance with 109 ..thats real...i am no Kraut
piece of cake
That face plant was painful to watch
Yup, it must have taken the wind right out of his sails!
Is that someones hand on the back of your seat?
I reckon it was the flight-engineer hanging on for dear life while Taff came in a tad hot and heavy, rattling the poor man's dentures in the landing!
Hi
Try playing Mossie in War Thunder, ill give you 2 matches before you uninstall.
War Thunder is a poor man's arcade game!
Are you actually British also I'm eating some Pizza Hut pizza right now
