When I saw the thumbnail, I literally said, "you can't put platforms next to foundations". Thanks for proving me wrong. I'll have to try this out for myself. I'm always wanting to do this for one reason or another. Wide steps is usually the reason. Well explained.
Helpful, but super glitchy. If I do that to build exterior stairs to the main door of my house with a raised foundation, the walls glitch and get to small, leaving a gap to the roof/ ceiling as only that part "behaves" like it has no foundation. If I change the wall height of the roof, it deletes all walls in the same level.
You also can't build roofs over them, any "wall" that you put the platform against the foundation of the house the roof won't place saying it's an uneven base 😢 but super cool glitch tip!!
You mean you tried to build the roof after connecting the platform and the foundation? I just tested it and, yeah, it won't let you do it like that, but then i tried to build the roof first and it worked. Basically, you need to build the whole shell of the house before connecting the foundation to the platform 😅
@@Dannie04 weirdly enough i tried both ways and when i did the roof first it got deleted as soon as i connected the platform, and then i also had some issues trying to connect walls inside of the shell to the same side the platform was connected to unless i did the same "move" trick with a single wall that worked lol
@@nikkidoodlesx3 Really? :o I need to run some more tests then, to see if I get the same issues and if I can find a solution or at least an explanation for why it happens. Thanks for letting me know! 🥰
