I’m a very novice builder (like I just started making my own sim houses a few days ago) and I’m sticking to simple builds like 1-floor houses and such. But this tutorial and the house you built are so inspiring, I just wanna jump to building complex houses like this. I’m definitely trying this trick and hopefully future tips and tricks you upload!

i came here from instagram because i wanted to find out how to choose and place multiple plants/stones at the same time and not individually, which i thought you might explain in this video, but i stayed for the entire tutorial (even though i already know how to do platform stairs!) because the way you explain things is just so nice and calming to listen to. i enjoyed this tutorial so much, im gonna go binge watch all your other ones LOL

I dont understand, I am trying with every tutorial available and cant get it to work. Tried building from bottom up with platform tool and got the conflicting block hights error. Then I tried this method top to bottom with room tool and now my platform stairs have foundation edges on them. I am getting frustrated :D
same!! have you found a solution yet? could it be the fact that the plot has different levels?
You need to raise the terrain so that it covers the foundation part, or you can put some plants in front of it to cover it. This happens because your house is too tall or your terrain isn’t raised enough to cover the foundation.
But then there is a box the sims can't step over. I still don't get it
you have made the house very beautiful, I would be very happy if you could show me how you made the whole house for those who don't have a gallery

Hi, I am trying to build the platform stairs now but for some reason when I lower or rase the separate rooms my whole entire house moves along with it. Is there anyway to fix it😊

I was wondering what kind of stony borders you've used for the path leading up to the stairs? I'm really new to the sims 4 so might be a stupid question, but I went ahead and asked it anyway lol
Thank you! I used a rock from base game! I size it down using the [ key and rotate it using the keys. Make sure bb.moveobjects is on so you can place them close together!

My TS4 doesn't have the up and down arrow tool (the one that shows with the move and spin room tool). It doesn't show the way yours do 😥 what can I do? Is that a code for it to appear?
There’s no code needed. Did you pirate the game? If so, you can’t have platforms unless you’ve actually bought the game.
@@daniellebuilds No, my game is original, and I downloaded it right from Origin. Don't really know why mine doesn't have this platform tool...

What computer do you use?
I play on my laptop but it can get laggy when I have too much going on. Just trying to figure out what specs to lookout for if/when I upgrade (:
Any moderately decent PC can run sims fairly well. Doesn't have to be super expensive top of the line. If you're going with a laptop, it'll end up being a bit higher price wise, but a $500-600 desktop can run sims quite well on max settings.

nice ,i did something similar a while back, my build called " doom steps " because the steps reminds me of the early doom games lol
i use t he half wall tool to custom draw platforms ,then u can rise them up and down as u wish ,then delete the wall around them all
Oh, please help me. I literally googled a question about platforms for this EXACT build which I ofc downloaded from you! It is stunning, I love it lots. But i really need help accessing the ground/"basement level." What thought process did you have for accessing the ground level?!! More platforms with stair connections? A ladder? Is it supposed to be accessible from outside?? Please help, I furnished it almost 60% before i realized there's no way to get down there 🥹🥹🥹🥹🥹
