We came through there last night(Fri.) and it was lit up so beautiful. Trees are decorated in lights. Lots of people out. Music going. It,s alive. Gorgeous mansions. Looked like a new hospital to me. The reason we came through there was to see the movie location from Fried Green Tomatoes. Also ,the movie set from My Cousin Vinney. Yes, we hope people who move in are as sweet as the ones already there
Hi Melinda, yes Downtown is really nice in the evenings and it is always alive with some sort of events happening. Wait until Halloween, also the Conjuring was filmed here in Newnan as well. I am sure we will see more movies being filmed here in the future as well!

Yes you are. Newnan has to have security at walmart now. The place is trash everywhere. Wasn't like this 3 years ago. I'm glad I moved. I think bringing West Georgia in was a mistake.
@@leehigh3918 also, the Walmart in PTC was closed for some time and a lot of people from PTC and Sharpsburg were coming to the Newnan store, which made the Newnan store pretty crowded…
To be quite honest I have lived here for over 12 years and that was the first one we had right here in Newnan that I am aware of. In the state of Georgia as a whole we had about 10 E-4 tornadoes since 1950. I hope this helps!

Hello, Ty's Adventures the pollution is definitely much less here in the suburbs than in the heart of Atlanta for example. We have a lot of green space and trees :)

Hi Karee, yes we are a dry city, what that means is you will not find liquor stores in Newnan. We do have plenty of beer and wine though! Why are you so terrified and what can I help you with?

Liquor stores are in Peachtree City and Grantville. Short drive from Newnan.
