It really does make a huge difference to watch a pov drive vid with a quality cam, something Parker has always stayed on top of. Ps u are watching a Parker…drive not park goodnight!

I've went 130 mph in one at the track in Bowling Green KY, just across the highway from the factory. It's a very fun car.

Loving this new C8,simply amazing! Just when I thought Chevy was losing it just becoming stagnant they hit a home run big time!! This thing is just pure sexiness & the interior is above anything they've ever done except for concepts. The divider or wall of buttons for the a/c controls in my opinion is what makes this vehicle different from all the other supercars! It's unique & distinctively Chevy! Can't wait to see the performance figures for the ZO6 if the base model can pull off the numbers it's doing well hold on to your hats folks cause it's about to get blown off!! Kudos Chevy for actually bringing life back to an American icon! Now focus on the Camaro with an IROC- Z return & I'd be really amazed!!💯👍

what a machine! loved the POV becuz u can really get a feel for the acceleration and power that thing has..
even without that glorious flat plane engine, this car is a beast..the z06,I cant even imagine how trippy thats gonna be to drive..I'd love just to get out for a test drive in one of these ! may be on my radar in 15 yrs when they go for 10 grand on a u sell it lot..otherwise just the stuff of dreams
dude I own one in this color and i going to tell you I dont think this thing is ever going for as low as 10 grand lol isnt the 2002 vette still going for like 15- 20 grand and this thing just seems of a much higher quality than the 2002 vettes so in 15 years it may be a 30-35k car with high miles and thats if it turns out to be a Train wreck of a production car. As of right now its by far the most exotic vettes created. when im driving my c8 base it actually feels and drives like an exotic. in terms of design it holds it own with some high end vehicles.

Launch control wasn’t done properly, it revs higher than that by a good margin. The trick is, you have to push the brake pedal down very hard, feels like you’re going to break it but you won’t.

Nailed it with the camera rear view mirror, eyes have to refocus for close distance
My friend has the C8 edition corvette it’s 🔥😍. I beg to differ on the rear view mirror I drove it and didn’t have a problem with the mirror. IMO.
Ignore the haters (and the people who falsely claim they are first). The spec on this C8 is phenomenal!

Wow the gearing is surprisingly short that’s great honestly. So many sports cars (humm porsche humm) have absurdly long gearing you can’t use all of second gear in most countries…

The zoom level on the rear view mirror is adjustable. I’ve done this on another GM vehicle with the same mirror.
The c8 is absolutely stunning ! When I 1st saw 1 on the highway I thought it was a Ferrari. GM has undid themselves on this one . Go get for yourself you won’t be disappointed 👍
you can go into the settings for the camera, and have it zoom in or out.
This car in all black exterior , and red leather interior would be really sharp.

Nah man, it's all good. He's just ripping along blind corners in and out of the shadows and toggling the nav screen while doing a TH-cam video. His spatial awareness is unparalleled.
Nailed it.. front and sides are great, but theres just something about the back that doesnt flow. It doesnt match the rest of the car Its like to much squared off or something!!

the rear view mirror is hard to look at because when it's a real mirror your focal distance is however far away the thing in the mirror is, so it a car is 30 feet behind you, your eyes are focusing 100 feet away along the line of reflection not on the mirrors surfaces. So it is easy to shift form looking 100 in front of you to 100 feet behind you, but with a camera mirror you have to shift from 100 ft in front to 20 inches in front of you

I will say that the change to a mid-engine layout made it a lot harder to work on your own car...amazing styling and power however!
Yeah but I doubt many C8 owners are actually taking the time to wrench on their car. What could it possibly need being so new, an oil change? Anything done to the power train is being done at a shop, and if you’re doing it yourself, you’re most likely a shop owner anyways so you’d have a lift and everything else you need lol imo

@@FALOOGYJOE You can disassemble the entire car on your driveway if you want to, there isn't any software locks or proprietary tooling used as far as I know. Freedom or indepence isn't the word you are looking for, it's patience. Plus I really don't understand why anyone who has the comfort to spend 80-130k (depending on dealer markup) on a car would want to work on it themselves, changing out the air filter and oil service seems to be easy enough and that's pretty much all the diy a sensible person would do on their car.
These cars are fuckin sick bro and this is comin from a guy who's a mustang and hellcat charger fan but the c8 Corvette is pure nasty and badass cannot wait to see the Z06 as well

Did someone say supercharger? I have one on order for my C8, I’m in So Cal so u can review the supercharged version whenever pro charger decides to ship it to me.
I have this in this same exact color and this thing is so exotic. I had to pay a $5000 markup bumping my total up to $65000 which sucked but Im so happy with my purchase I could tear up lol. I dont like much attention but its crazy the amount of stares or thumbs up I get in this thing and some of the drivers are riding in vehicles worth aleast hundred grand or more. gm knocked it out the park with the design inside and out because the car just looks, feels, and smells amazing in person :)
How did you get it for that cheap? Lol. Even with the bump up that's a great price. I can't find even a used one for less than 90

I agree but you cannot get a new car like the stingray for 60k
I beg to differ with you, many of the larger Corvette dealers are selling the new Corvettes at strictly MRSP. but used C8’s are selling for 20K to 30K over original MRSP. I sold mine for 20K over what I paid for it , 18 months old with 16,500 miles on it and am buying a new 2022 for MRSP which means I am getting it for 20 K under sticker. 72K MRSP Minus 20K means I am getting my 2022 for $52,000.
You can no longer get the high wing on the C8 Corvette you can get it aftermarket and it’s a lot cheaper
This is probably the car I want rn but I am also 16 and don’t have money so I will continue driving my Subaru Outback 2017 until it is dead

Personally ill still take the base stingray with the High Wing dont like how the new ZO6 LOOKS the new protruding chin makes it look like a McLaren 650 type face the Zo6 wing is diff and the side vent is different ill take the stingray and uild and tune it up plus it looks better AND lol that flat plane sounds exotic and is a good marketing bonus but for DURABILITY the 6.2 block is gonna be stronger
