Lived in Little Ferry from 66 to 69. On John St. I went to Washington School grammar school. Not sure if that was one of the schools in these pics. My next door neighbor kept bee hives as a hobby. Never forget he had a nice 57 Chevy. One day we had such heavy rains the street was running with water and people were in canoes. The good old days.
Growing up during the 1950s in RP I did a lot of fishing in the lakes of Little Ferry. I'm sorry the town and Moonachie get flooded every storm. There was a neat seaplane base there too. The Silver Dollar Diner at the Rt 46 circle was a favorite stopping point for me. Rt 46 had the most used car lots of any place in the USA.
Good job, thanks for sharing. I live in Little Ferry.
Amazing choice of music for this one!!! Love Epona, my favorite Enya song!
Wow, LF looks sooo much different now!
