What's funny is that the origin of this track's name was actualy a dig at The Chainsmokers & Coldplay for a mistake they made in their song "Something Just Like This". In the lyrics of "Something Just Like This" they make reference to "Achilles and his gold" which was a lyrical blunder. According to the legend, Achilles was not famous for his gold, but for being an invincible warrior with his heel being his only weak point. He was killed in battle after an arrow struck his heel. Midas was a king that famously wished for everything he touched to turn into gold, which would later cause him to starve to death when the food he was trying to eat would turn into gold. The Chainsmokers & Coldplay obviously confused the two and so in typical Deadmau5 fashion, he named this song "Midas Heel" to make fun of their error.
