Me and some workmates went up Mt. Buninyong to watch the total solar eclipse in 1976. It messed the birds up, no end. Off to sleep, then awake 10 minutes later. Anyone who has a chance to observe a total eclipse with plenty of wildlife around them should do that.

@@OzGeologyOfficialthat produced the gold in the triangle in Melbourne like the mc quarried ridge in NSW produced all theregold? Cause the Phillipines has lots of gold from volcanic activity,,see,Gympie had volcanic activity, that produced the gold there,it had a geopolymer polygonal stoned step pyramid too🆗,this cannot be debated cause they took the geopolymer off it to use as a fence around the old church there, your a geologist yeah?do you know how much old world structures were made out of geo?why did you show earth as a ball when it's flat? geopolymer is made from sodium silicate,or natron, calcium carbonate, ground stone and water, sometimes,as in south American T stones it's magnetic and sometimes it's got bat guano in south America, half of Giza is not actually stone it's geopolymer too, like the basalt and casing stone sandstone, I am not aware of Victoria pyramids but on old photos at a couple of mines there was a couple massive obelisks, and the mine managers didn't pay a million dollars to effect 150 tonne obelisks I can promise you 🆗✋👍💉💀👽🚀👾🌀🌪️👁️🦉🐦🦜🐓🐤🦆🦢🦩🦅🐉🐲🐍

A close family member lives in Buninyong - such a pretty town ! She took us up to the top of it two weeks ago and we climbed the fire-tourist tower for a better view of the area. That scoria and basalt/bluestone are spread across the Western Plains to Melbourne. I live near an old basalt quarry, now turned into a lake and bush park. The streets and lanes of Melbourne were made from it, as were house foundations and houses. In the new housing developments in the west there are huge piles of scoria rocks dug up in preparing the land. Farmers in olden times used these rocks as fences/walls on their land. Your videos are interesting and enjoyable as always.

There lots of volcano types in the Ballarat area, going as far north as Maryborough, and as far south as the Otway's. A few come to mind immediately, Mouth Franklin near Daylesford, the Bald Hill east of Carisbrook, Mt. Blowhard near Miners Rest, and there's a few in the crescent between Blowhard and Mount Franklin, they're all over that area if you know the signs to look for. That whole area was geologically very active.

Lol. ❤ I Love Geology was my first thought when I pressed play and then you start with those words. Loved the presentation. I Learnt a lot. 😂 Thank you. Can you enlighten us to the real geological story around the creation of "CASTLE HILL" in Townsville please. Heard, via aboriginal Dreamtime stories that it landed there in a Fiery storm. Some surmise it was a plug from a Fijian volcano. ????

Its not something you've done yet, but I'm interested in knowing about the current locations of the hot-spots that created yellowstone and capmpi felegro calderas as thousands of years have shifted the earth's crust to possible new euption sites.

The whole of the Western District is mottled with large volcanic cones.
Noteworthy is Red Rock, it has a massive viewing arc that stretches from Mt Bunningyong, The You Yangs, Mt Leura, Mt Porndon, Mt Elephant, The Otways and on a clear day you can see the Grampians all with the naked eye. Among the flat volcanic plains is Lake Corangamite, the largest permanent salt lake in Australia. It covers about 240 square kilometres and was created by lava flow exciting nearby Warrion Hill.
Unlike Mt Warrenheip that erupted over a million years ago, Red Rock is considered “active” last erupting only 8,000 yrs ago.
The rich volcanic soils in the district grow some fantastic produce.

There is a volcano near my hometown in Rockhampton, and I went crystal hunting when I was a kid (2005) and found myself a Rainforest Jasper weighing ~900grams. It’s so beautiful, it has a deep green with some small red and brown sections in it, and I still have both halves to this day. I’m considering selling one of the halves, but who knows if that’ll ever happen! 😂

I have been watching Volcanoes as I read bible prophecy. To the best of my knowledge many things I found I cannot find on net now. During covid I gave
warnings we are not to play covid isolation on Kangaroo Island, under water
Volcano and there is another volcano inbetween PNG and NT , there is a
triangle from Jakarta and we are close to the ring of fire . Not much is discussed
in this country about volcanoes only dinosaw talk . Fear not accept Jesus as
your shield savior. US is where you get more truth on the ministry sites.
These things are disgused in detail that line up with bible prophecy from those who are experts in the field. Fear not trust in the Lord.
