FINALLY SOMEONE WHO TALKS ABOUT MONSTER STRIKE It's incredible just how popular this game is Japan. I've been playing for 4+ years and being part of the community is such a fun experience
It really is interesting what lasts in some regions and what doesn't. So many don't get why One Piece is popular in Japan and some Japanese say the same thing regarding samurais. At least the game is doing well. 10 years is no easy feat. The collabs being region locked stinks. I felt that pain while playing Story of Seasons Trio of Towns and found out Hamtaro was a character in the Japan version only....:( Dang it!
me who has been playing this game for 8 years in the taiwan version (yes there is jp ver and taiwan ver and there is no hong kong ver for the taiwan already includes taiwan, hong kong and macao), the game is basically waiting for collab as big content to attract players for the bump combo side, bump combos werent as op back then. the bump combos were very weak back then, so we really had to use our skills such as calculating angles, memorising attack patterns etc. for the bump combos to be op, usually we wait for limited characters to trascend and then the devs will give them op bump combos to sweep current hard stages 3:08 nah this stage is already easy af
I really loved monster strike. It was my favorite mobile game when i could still play it in English. It was great for when a getting a tattoo. I was so bummed when they shutdown the US servers. I don't think i spent any money on it so it's partially my fault lol. I would spend on it now if it came back
Anime and video game collaborations and the life blood of japanese mobile gacha games. If you don't have them, your game is probably going to shut down and die. Monster strike global failed because they didn't do collaborations with anime and video games and removed online co-op along with terrible marketing. Working with Facebook was also probably a big mistake. Japanese gatch game makers tend to license out their game to Western companies, which is almost always a mistake because the Western companies don't tend to understand or care about the games.
hmm, I just looked at the article shown in the video and then went to the source of that article, and they both say 10 billion dollars. Still not sure if that's actually the case or there was a mistake somewhere further up the line though.
She Monster on my Strike until I generate 10 billion dollars in revenue amirite gamers?

10 billion yen, not dollars. But not gonna lie, 10 billion "dollars" sounds better as a title lol
Still, 69 million dollars aint bad for pinball.

this is actually incorrect they would have used ¥ if they meant to say 10 billion yen @gimmiethaloot
