My hubby and I just made these (Ontario, Canada). It was our very first time using a Dutch oven and charcoal BBQ. A little learning curve with the first round, but both rounds were a huge success! My house now smells like buttered popcorn at a movie theatre, lol. We will make these again and again! Thank you!
“Now do a third of a turn” (proceeds to rotate halfway) lol Just having fun. Those look great! Will totally try this recipe. I do my meats and soups in the Dutch and just making a foray into breads and baking desserts with it. Thanks for the info and keep up the good work!
I Trekked on over here from your This Is Rendezvous post. Thanks for posting and sharing this on YT! One view and Subscribed! Those biscuits looked so good, i could almost smell em cookin'!
Yum. Just consider trying this two ingredient hillbilly recipe: 2 cups self-rising flour, and 1 +1/3 cup heavy whipping cream. It may also be easier if you are roughing it, or want to do drop-biscuit-dumplings. Enjoyed watching!
@@campcookingwithcommandersh5726 Thanks, good video, if you do biscuits & Gravy for boys on camp outs, try the 2 ingredient biscuit 2 cups of Self-rising flour, Nd heavy cream, the fat in the cream substitutes butter or shortening, keep it wet flour your board, and roll em to 3/4 use an empty tomato paste can and bake em in the Dutch oven 12-15 m and butter the tops, been doing it for years Good job Commander
Yup. I've eaten my share and served a sight more of them around the campfire. Give this one a try and I'm pretty sure you'll be happy. Be sure to check back and let me know how they turned out.
