      Joseph Harris yes sir it is. Just sticking with the original 6666 Ranch recipe. It’s an antique. That ranch is over 120 years old and I found it in a 1920 book. Not sure why they wrote it that way. Maybe that’s all the measuring instruments they had? Thanks.

      @@HorsePenRanch they wrote it that way because old timers didn't carry measuring cups and measuring spoons with them, they used ordinary coffee cups, small silverware spoons and larger soup spoons as their measuring devices.

    this is how my mother used to make biscuits, i really prefer these over any buttermilk biscuit. not as soft and fluffy as a buttermilk biscuit but that's what i like about them, to me a buttermilk biscuit is too much like cake and not bready enough...
