Longtime Salem resident here. Thanks for spotlighting my crazy town. I know some of the owners of the shops you mentioned, and I am sure that they will appreciate your recommendations. Surprised to see that you didn't mention Salem Witch Museum. I live around the corner from the place, and the long lines in October wind down my street. Yes, potential visitors, come in September, April, July, March, any month but October! We have Halloween all year 'round here. October is so very crowded now (we had a record amount of visitors this year). Lines are long everywhere, restaurants will have hour long waits for a table, traffic is bumper/bumper. I have to remind friends coming to visit me to get into town early early in the day. If you want a hotel , B'n'B, or AirBnB for next fall, book it NOW! Looking forward to seeing which restaurants you liked here.
Could you break down the prices of like the broom making class, the book binding class, and like the prices if you could do an estimate on the wands please? If not, that's totally fine. I'm trying to see how much I need to bring with me for just shopping and attractions alone are probably expensive there. I was told it's very expensive buying anything in the shops but I understand bc it's tourist attractions but I want to know places where to buy candles, herbs, spell books, and tarot cards and the pentagram seemed like it would have some. Ty for the video
I will have to visit Salem again. I first visited back in 1999 during Haunted Happenings in October. I had so much fun, however, I visited by commuting to and from Boston, another interesting place!❤
Really liked this video! I'm visiting Salem for the first time this October! I've always wanted to go & so excited!🖤 I'm so glad you brought up the Black Viel I'm looking to get a tattoo when I go! Do they do walk ins?
I’ve been wanting too go here so so bad especially around Halloween time the carnivals and the energies and I’m an empath so seeing sychics would be awesome 😎 thank you so much for the tips and beautiful stores and everything I’m so going to the conjuring house and all of Salem I just have too go so bad been wanting for years 😊😊😊
Be sure to do the TROLLEY Tours and know that even though some things are similar take both the day tour and the night tour you will definitely enjoy both of them.
My daughter and grandson stayed at the Hawthorne Hotel (while I stayed in my RV at the RV PARK on the Island) and there is definitely something happening at the Hawthorne Hotel.
Yea I cant stress the comfortable shoes thing enough, the cobble stones and bricks will mess your feet up fast. Oh and speaking of bricks there are quite a few loose ones, my 70 year old mom took a header last year.
If you want another spooky place, head to Connecticut. The witch trial in America started, believe it or not, in Connecticut (Windsor).Hartford Connecticut was another location that started 1647. You'll have to dig a little for the whole story, but it's very interesting. A little help cotton Mather's book Magnalia Christi Americana vol.2 describing conviction of Mary Johnson and familiarity of the devil. After 3 executions passed and later ceased lead to salem trials and hysteria 1692. This is why ergot excuse is laughable😂
