I'm pretty sure you can't go into Alison's house, they use it for storage the lady said! But Great Video 📹 👏 I go every Halloween 🎃 it's my favorite. I wanna move here someday
Thanks for the info. I thought I read on their website that you can tour the house. I'm gonna pin your comment so other people will be able to read it. Thanks again 💜
My fiancée pitched visiting Salem around our one year wedding anniversary for our honeymoon - I love all things spooky and history-y so I'm all for it. Thanks for the tourism ideas!
Oh yeah, I just realized I’ve been inside the Salem Witch Museum, but I transferred the photos to my external drive and I couldn’t find it anymore. My husband only reminded me that we’ve been inside.
The House of the Seven Gables in Salem is phenomenal! It shows so much historic aspects to architecture. Super fun tour. I’ve been there twice and have seen it twice awesome time.
That's amazing! Thank you so much! Just a heads up, it's gonna be crowded for sure. Other than that, enjoy your trip and have a safe one! Let me know how it went. 😊💜
We love Salem and Halloween too! Salem is one of the best places to be in for Halloween. Wish I could just go back and experience everything all over again ❤️
Hi John! Thank you so much for stopping by and for your kind words. I honestly would love to visit Salem again. I'll never get tired of doing the same things and visiting the same places over and over again. Hope you get to visit Salem as well. God bless you as well and thanks again! 💕

Been to salem and there is so much t see. This was a good simple walthrough. For me the first trip I was overwhelmed. Spent 7 days got through many touristy places. Second visit the same and historic places but missed a few. My suggestion don't go on the fly or busy season and do your research(know where you want to visit and watch some you tube vids. First thing: eat or take trolley. The trolley is so worthwhile all day pass tour all through main salem. Second: know where to eat some places are great for breakfast and lunch others for dinner and you can't forget the bars. Do t be shy asking locals the people are usually friendly . Third: Know the simple laws Crossing just about anywhere is permitted especially downtown. There's crossing police and lights with timers and chiming to let you know when it's safe. Pedestrian have the right away but don't be a jerk about it. Salem police are very friendly but have their limits please be respectful. Fourth: have a ride Get a Uber app or drive things get expensive.
Thank you so much for sharing these tips and suggestions! They are great and very useful. Definitely, October is a busy season. I knew it was going to be crowded when we went, but I wanted to experience Salem around Halloween. We usually take the trolley whenever we would explore a city, but for some reason we never thought of that. We'll definitely do that on our next visit. I heard the Ugly Mug diner is a great breakfast place, but there was a long line outside so we had to find another place to eat. I actually have more on my list, but we were pressed for time. Hopefully, we can visit again soon. Thanks again for your comment! I appreciate it.
It still amazes me on all these videos of Salem yet nobody goes to pine Street in Danvers to see the Rebecca nurse house It was part of the witch trials. Fun fact Danvers used to be part of Old Salem village.
September to November is the best time to visit Salem, but it will be incredibly busy. I would go early October during the week as weekends are the busiest time to go. October gives you the chance to experience fall foliage and spooky Halloween decor as well. 😊👻
Hello love your video sm❤️❤️ I’m curious if they start setting up for Halloween a little bit before Halloween incase some can’t make it near the end of October?
Yes, they do. They have an event called "Salem Haunted Happenings" and they usually decorate the city as early as October 1st. Are you visiting any time soon? 💕
I haven’t been to Salem in years and when I mean years I’m talking about when I was in Girl Scouts elementary school and now I’m in my 30’s . I’m going in October and taking my mom because I promised her last year that I would take her so this video was helpful
Hi Veronica! I'm excited for you and your mom. Just a heads up though, October is a busy month in Salem so it can get very crowded especially nearing towards Halloween. But you're both going to love Salem. Let me know how it went. Thanks! ❤️
Gandaaaa 🥰 so many Halloween decor 🎃👻💀 the movie really gives you that nostalgic halloween feels 🥰 fun and spooky 👻🧙♀️ love the Ropes mansion, so many different places to shoot, hehhe sooo instagrammable 🤩 thanks for sharing Angel 👼
Thanks, Val! I love Hocus Pocus and so to be able to visit its film locations was definitely a bucket list accomplishment. We didn't see a lot of people in costumes yet. It would've been nice to see the Sanderson sisters again hehe. And Salem is rich in history. I would love to go back and do a guided tour.
Never been, but I can only imagine. And knowing me, the museum, the costumed walking around, the ticket booth, the 9 dollar coffee, etc. etc. would annoy the hell out of me blocking my way to what I really want to see. The grounds where it actually happened and the look around to get the feel of the place. Oh, the cementary, well, if any residents are from that late 1600s time, I would have interest. OK, now let's drive down to the actual site of the Pilgrims' landing and Plymouth Rock. Oh! Hey! Get ... get outta my way! I gotta fight through the 9 dollar coffee, the Hari Krispy guy, the ticket booth, the ... Let's go back to the car.
Pro tips: go in summer, not October. The weather will be better, there will be fewer crowds, short lines, and less likely to have an attraction sold out. Also less likely to be a victim of price gouging, and there is more parking Also if you heading from Boston for the day, take the commuter rail from North Station. You get dropped off just one block from the touristy part of town How on earth did you overlook the Peabody Essex museum? It’s the best attraction in town

Salem Witch Museum allows photos but no videos. Also, the Peabody Essex Museum is a gem in Salem.
Oh yeah, I just realized I’ve been inside the Salem Witch Museum, but I transferred the photos to my external drive and I couldn’t find it anymore. My husband only reminded me that we’ve been inside.

I absolutely agree. I could visit the house multiple times and will not get tired of it. Btw, thanks for watching ❤️
Gotta love the secret passage as well
Very interesting about that Ghost and Witch history...and that haunting cemetery..
Hi Antonio! Thanks for the comment and for watching my video! I appreciate it. 😊💕
Very informative video! I’m using this as a guide when I visit Salem tomorrow for Halloween. Thank you! 💖
That's amazing! Thank you so much! Just a heads up, it's gonna be crowded for sure. Other than that, enjoy your trip and have a safe one! Let me know how it went. 😊💜

Y'all can criticize the Salem Witch Trails as much as you like; however, after the trials were concluded, there was a 100% reduction in witches .
What’s the hype around Gulu Gulu coffee? Is it from a movie?
