Thanks so much for doing this Tasha!! 😊 The lead singer was Gary Brooker and the Danish national orchestra and chorus backed the band. 💐

The band Procol Harum released this song in 1967. And they are even better today. Gary Brooker hasn't lost a step.

I love the way Gary Brooker watched the orchestra in the intro. He is a true musician and one of definite calibre.

    Couldn't have 60's rock without a Hammond Organ ... and a Leslie ....

This came out in 1967, Gary Brooker sounds even better today than when he first recorded it.

Still has the voice that I remember 40+ years ago.

This is the most beautiful rendition of this song ever done, and to think he is singing it 39 years later since the original...:) Adding the orchestra really made this spectacular....:) Plus your reactions are always excellent as well...:)

This song gives me chills & I flash back to the 70's when times were a lot more simple.

I don't know how many 100's of times I listened to this beautiful masterpiece as a teenager. I got to see Gary Booker with Ringo Starr and His All Starr Band about 20 years ago and he was playing the same organ as in 1967. This song is timeless. I think he sounds even better 40 years later! This whole orchestra/chorus arrangement set this song to a whole other level. God, I wish I could have been there. Great stuff coming from TNT. You guys are awesome!

PRO-cull HAIR--umm. Everyone gets it wrong. This song's bookended brother is "Conquistador" from the same concert. If you run it, I'll watch.

I was about 14 when this came out, one of the most hauntingly beautiful songs ever - the epitome of Hammond organ sound - when this live version started, brought tears to my eyes - great choice!
