I always hope creators are doing what *they* enjoy. I enjoy the stop motion but what if you hate it? Well then I would feel guilty and not enjoy it. I can imagine my own stop motion if need be. In fact I can imagine the whole video if it was just narration. And if needed I can imagine the narration too ...

It's been a long time since I've had a Flic'n'lic lolly. It's nice to know kids can still safely practice their butterfly knife skills and get a sweet treat at the same time.

I think this build is awesome!
I know I'm a little late to this party, but instead of Flic n Lic, if you need parts that shape again, it's worth a jaunt down to your local Halfords as they're very similar to parts of windscreen wipers, and they throw out loads of those bits when they replace them as new wipers come with several fittings which aren't all used.
You've done some cracking builds but I think this is one of my favourites. And definitely keep the pieces to camera, they're top content. The stop motion stuff is great too, even if it is a pain to do.

I also work in a sweetshop and the amount of times people tell me i must be living the dream working here. Im always so tempted to tell all about how i get paid minimum wage to deal with screaming kids and tantruming adults and i dont even like sweets... is so want to just clip 6:29 and have that play to everyone of those customers
As much as I love disembodied, hands and voiceovers, I do like the bits where we get to see your pretty face. it’s very rare that we run across you and Bill in the same room and when we do there might be some CGI funny business so it’s those shots that help me pick out the differences between you. Still have a hunch that there could be a triplet out there. But that’s a video for another day.

Yes I do want more “pieces to camera” (?). But as cool as the display cabinet looks, I would much prefer light to your face. It looks very cold and unappealing with the shadows.
Also, could you introduce a gaming system or fictional setting for your builds. It’s not only done by Bill and adds soooo much story and therefore audience engagement.

For yellow I've found progressing from an opaque brown to yellow progressively helps cover. I think it saves coats, but it definitely makes it easy to add some definition/shading by covering less of the model with each coat.

With all those teeth, it makes me think of Agrajags "Arthur-Dent-killing-body" from Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy.
The mouth is rather yonic, but that initial lump of kneaded clay looked distinctly lingam-like!

Wonderful video! I am loving the cosmic horror theme to the set. I want to see you build a humanoid hero character with a robot sidekick facing off against the creatures you've already built. And then a build after showing who won the showdown.
It's great to see that this new mck has made 2 friends already, so he doesn't have to feel like a freak which I'm sure is really good for his self-esteem. Fantastic video as always Dan, I really enjoy your unique style and appreciate your interactions with everyone here. Thank you for the sculpting clay tip, unfortunately I think I chucked my dried block, I do have some regular clay that I wanted to sculpt with but didn't know what I was going to do to bake it

Your videos are a treat to watch every time. I think having bits where we get to see you are fun. Also, I love the MCK series! I think one that's based off a mole might be a cool one to try (look up star nosed moles!)

You know those things that go on shop doors that go "Beep Boop" every time someone comes in? How about one that goes "Want some Candy?" recorded from "Predator 2" where the Predator is imitating the kids voice? I think that would be suitable for your specific shop.

If you put masking fluid on the teeth you can paint with abandon, then rub at the teeth with a finger you’ll get the luminescence back plus a bit of weathering

I love this series. What a great monster. The whole bit where you were sculpting the head was like you were making something from Society. Some hideous alien sex organ. That light set at the end is so cool as well.
