hiya dan do you ever do or plan on doing youtube streams ? I miss the good old days of twitch seeing the various characters & stanley & miss seeing the sweetshop (chewnacker here)
It may be a cliche to say, but you really have outdone yourself. There just so much beautiful and painstaking detail, 60 days well spent if you ask me.
Absolutely breathtaking… I might even go as far as saying: Youve overthrown Bill as the king of beads. Glorious build, a pleasure to watch, and well worth the wait.
I love the lavishness of all the ornately decorated adornments elaborated with baroque embellishments. Elegant frills and gaudy flourishes, sumptuous intricacies, resplendently ostentatious designs. (I’m offering all these words in place of fancy. But it’s also true!)
25:19 Guests will be like "Hmmm this some serious freeze dried tasteless choice, right?" Just an epic build, some serious craftmanship went into and it shows, the light feature looks great too. Like the Immortal Engines feel it has, hope to see it in some future videos whatever that may be.
You've used so many different beads that I swear you can see them even when you close your eyes. It’s Over 9000! One little fancy bell has evolved into a whole fancy cathedral tank. What would you do if you got your hands on tubular bells? You should call this tank Magnum opus, because it was truly a titanic job.💪
That Church Tank (Tonk? Tink? Tunk? Tonque?) made me think of the old Monty Python skit about the church coming down the road, through someone's front gate ("It's coming up the path!"), and which is humanely dispatched with a handy Church Seeking Missile.
How did I miss this? It's enormous and a thing of LAVISH beauty. Well done Dan, absolutely amazing (and I love your editing, sound effects and ramblings). Thanks
I may have missed the section you used Cabochons in...... Holy crapzoids Dan! This is mind boggling. Amazing how many different things were used, yet everything fits together so beautifully! I can see why it would take 60 days to build. Simply amazing!
This build is just so heckin cool. It looks like it's got a mind of its own, and again all the details! I love the minutiae of making things yourself and this is such a joy to watch.
I think that is the most impressive scratch build I've ever seen. I just discovered your channel after watching a few of Bills videos. I love the humorous commentary you both provide.
Dan its not arrogant to declare its all hand made without the use machinery to build it for you. This content is imperative and of the upmost importance, for in the not to distant future people would have forgotten how to scratch build after becoming reliant on robots to build all their tabletop needs, Its like documenting bush craft such as firemaking or foraging. For not if! But when those robots fail our descendants then the Dans digital grimoire of crafting shall lead them into the hobby light . Youre doing the lords work sir ❤❤
Absolutely bonkers and worth the weight. Very cool! Since it's not attached to the carriage section you could use that as some kind of moving terrain in a game too.
It's always so satisfying the way that a prime and a few coats of paint tie together what at first looks like a huge mess of gaudy baubles (funnily enough, that was my nickname in college). Magnificent work Mr Does. I can almost hear the ominous bells ringing o'er the crater pocked battlefield (funnily enough, that was the nickname FOR my college).
The pva glue peeling had my knees shaking, lmao absolutely absurd the amount of detail this one has dan, I've been looking forward to it for so long. If it doesn't get atleast 1 billion views, someone's uncle will have to die. Incredible work friend!
Killer work dude! Your mini Cathedral Tonk is what inspired me to make a Tonk of my own. So I’m worried about what THIS one will inspire me to do next 😬
An epic watch, from start to finish thoroughly entertained. Your videos transcend simple "crafting videos" and into dare I say "light entertainment"? I get a warm, childhood feeling from watching your stuff, so an extra long one was great. Thanks for the effort, it's much appreciated 👍
This is honestly such a tasty looking cathedral sandwich! Brilliant build! Watching this makes me want some kind of Ubertonks hack for the original Tonks! or something similar.
@@Dan_DoesI should indeed! It's been a bad start to the year projects-wise, but I have some tonk builds in mind, and perhaps an Ubertonk hack could follow...
Dear Dan, what is the name of the SFX you've used to represent the flicking of the toothpicks from the Amazon? That sort of cartoony ping noise? Cheers! Also (just out of curiosity) how did you end up on Digi level 2?
The Spire could be called Roddy McDoweling. Got to say Dan, the detailing on this build is superb. It looks more like a practical film prop miniature than a game piece. You can see the time and effort put into this build. Top gwolidy bate!
Mr. Does, you have truly outdone yourself on this one! That is astounding, and the level of detail, texture, and depth is amazing! I can’t say I’ve personally seen any crafting channels create something of this aesthetic and nature! (Also I personally enjoy your voiceover, part of why I come back!)
Absolutely outstanding build, all that time you put into this really shows! I especially love the resin windows and it's overall "design over function" qualities - very oldhammer. You know, I'd kinda love to see you scratch-build some kind of Battlefleet Gothic spaceship. Not sure about the scale of beads but I'm sure you could come up with some very unique, gothic, maybe unkown xenos ship design. May be an idea for a future video?
Loved the video and the build! Those stained glass windows look great (especially love how you let light show through them). Absolutely astonished by your dedication to this gargantuan tank.

you do realise every time you say Alexa... everyone's Alexis responds.
Yes... I do.
That’s a wild build, Dan! Well done!
Thanks, bud!
If mighty oaks grow from little acorns, then Dan has shown that mighty weaponised churches grow from tiny bells. 🙂
It's true
On the topic of acorns, imagine a sort of acorn-tonk in the style of Jen Brett’s artwork?
My wife when you mentioned bead hoarding:
“Yes, ‘the crafter who dies with the most stuff wins’, we know that”
Haha!
This is pushing the scratch built envelope. Absolutely fantastic. Concept follow through and execution. The theme the colors everything perfect.
Wow, thank you!

Dan. Don’t ever stop being you. Your voice is 10/10.
14:39 the cracked skull under the other skulls... chef's kiss.
25:35 you my friend bought 6 jars of pigment powder.
Absolutely breathtaking… I might even go as far as saying: Youve overthrown Bill as the king of beads. Glorious build, a pleasure to watch, and well worth the wait.
Very kind
This would be so sick in a game using the Wier's setting Vastarian, which is described as, "A vast cathedral world."

If Liberace had a tank it would look like this!
Ha
Ooh I've been waiting for a new vid!
Well worth your time and effort! This looks great!
Thanks, buddy
“Look at the size of that thing……..that’s no moon”! Bloomin Epic Fella!

IMO this is the most impressive scratch build I've ever seen! The details, color and aesthetic are incredible. Phenomenal work!
Very flattering. Thank you

Plasticky rubbery bond......I loved his brother in Goldfinger.
Holy giant cathedral tank Danman!

my friend made a Big Cathedral on wheels. glad you made another cool tank. :)
You could probably combine the "Guest Coffee" with cheap acrylic paint and make texture paste. . . . :D
The Mothedral of all cursed shrines. That is one insanely detailed build!
As a 40yo man working in Blender right now as I watch this, I salute your commercial.

Wonderful build again! Also I don't believe there are actual people out there that dislike the sound of your voice. Barry White has nothing on you.
