I'm beyond grateful to have found this video and the comments attached. I've prayed and prayed for an answer and I feel like my prayers may have been answered! I texted my doctor to try and have my next appt be this shot. I also attached this video so he is aware of another option. I've expressed many times that I've hit a wall with my taper from suboxone, but this has never been suggested. Maybe he just doesn't know?? Also I'd like to mention how little I'm finding about this on YT. But I also know how they bury Truth. So thank God I found this on duck duck go. !
Most doctors are ignorant and in my experience are non empathetic to suboxone withdrawal . They either have no personal experience of going thru it therefore really have no clue now debilitating it is or they choose to push a n ideaology that you can just willlower thru a taper “when you’re ready” which really means they don’t want you to get off cuz they want to keep you as a client
I was taking 8mg a day for 3 years. Got a single 300mg shot 30 days ago. During the first 26 days I felt a very mild twang of withdrawal but I was able to sleep the entire time. Sometimes I would go 15-20 hours without thinking about it when busy. I did not want to do the 300/300/100 because I’m just so over being on bupe. The injection sight feels a bit like I mutilated my body. The lump is extremely noticeable since I have low body fat, something about it doesn’t sit right with me but im happy it exists. Just think it would be crazy to keep injecting these lumps into me month after month because they take 4-6 months to go away some mention a lump a year later. I would not want half a dozen of these on me. I definitely feel sicker now that I am entering month 2 but my resolve is very strong. Untill I can’t sleep I can definitely deal with this extremely mild withdraw, being on bupe I had no sex drive and never left my house. 5 years flew by and it felt like groundhog day
Dr Kenneth Star has devoted his life to helping people with OUD and is one of the few that I will listen to as he always has success stories and knows what he is doing. Hi I just came across you message and realized this post was approx. 3 weeks ago which would be about the same time frame when I received my first shot also, I got 100mg of sublocade injection and go back next week for my scheduled 2nd 100mg on August 9th...just curious so far how you have been feeling. I am very amazed with the slim to none withdrawl symptoms...I'll say this past week I've been very irritable, slightly agitated ummm mentally adjusting to not taking the strips crosses my mind but far as physical symptoms there very mild and to be honest as long as I'm busy it doesn't even cross my mind. I do feel like my energy is low so I take a energy drink to help me feel "up" for lack of a better word. Overall I'm jus amazed with almost zero withdrawal symptoms I'm sooo happy I've came across sublocade all by just doin alittle research and mentioning it to my doctor. I'm looking forward to being completely done within the next month or so and I'm happy. Sorry for rambling but how's you experience going?? I was taking 26mg of Suboxone, got down to 20mg and then I had two Sublocade injections of 300. After that, I had two injections of 100 (4 and 5 weeks apart), now I’m at 100 for 6 weeks. We have a plan to just reduce… but from what I read here, if I stopped, I would not have symptoms?

Hey buddy got some breaking news. I mentioned this on our livestream we did a while back. Brixadi (a generic for sublocade) is finally coming to market in sept 23. There are 7 different doses which will be great for patients on lower doses of Suboxone. It comes in weekly and monthly injections as well which should help to dial them in better at first. And the best part, they’re saying the cost of the medication is less then $10?! Not sure how it’s possible to be THAT cheap but even if it was $100/mo that’s still 20x cheaper then sublocade retail cash price. This is going to help so many more people then sublocade already is. I’ll post a link to an article that just came out today. Also there is a new overdose reversal drug called opvee that will be on the market near the same time. Incredible stuff is happening 👍 hope you’re doing well buddy!
I watched your video and I ended up getting my first shot on 6/7/23. Was supposed to have gotten my second one but I'm still doing fine and am so happy not to need to put a drug into my body! Thank you!
Hi. If someone is a severely heavy user of Fentanyl, is in a Methadone program (up to 80 or higher, I think, and still not getting results) and also doing Meth at the same time….is there a painless way to help them detox and get help? How does one contact you to see what you can do? Are you registered in the state of Oregon?
Sorry you're having to deal with all that. On 115MG methadone myself and I'm scared I'll be on it the rest of my life OR I'll lose my insurance and be sent into withdrawls for months.
I feel your pain I’ve been on methadone 175 mg for about 13 years at once. I was on a 250 mg go down to 175 mg two months ago I went to detox to get off the fentanyl which I am a daily user of and they wouldn’t give me my last dosing letter, so lo and behold I am off the methadone. I went to month that I went to a detox to get off the fentanyl I was there for seven days and didn’t start detoxing until the seventh day and at that point I was already done with my five day methadone decrees protocol 3020 15 10, 5 over five days and I even waited 48 hours to start the protocol. On day seven I went to forward rolls and I had to leave and go get High, so I feel your pain and I’m also a daily crack user can’t do meth too many hallucinations and not pleasant ones either. People don’t realize that that New Trannk is in the meth it’s in the crack and it’s in the fentanyl. I don’t know if that’s why the detox didn’t start ti till seven days or if it’s because I have a fatty liver or if it’s just because I have a lot of fat in my body and the fat and I’ll stores itself in the fat
Man I’d get on subs first for the first couple months before getting on the shot. I was on methadone for 15 years 60-80mg a day and long story short my Dr of 15 years was found guilty for prescribing pills to under cover agents he screwed all of this patients big time with no warning leaving hundreds and hundred of patients in panic because nobody would fill his scripts I stared getting sick with withdrawals and i finally went to the ER after I couldn’t find a Dr to prescribe me methadone over 5 Drs and no help it’s just ridiculous how regulated methadone is and how easy I had it for years considering people have to go daily to get methadone. I finally went to Ti the ER and they said that they couldn’t give me any yet because I was wasn’t a 10 on the COW system that shows how bad your withdrawals are so waited over 40 hours and took the coke test and I thought I was sick enough so I took 16mg and it threw me into Precipitated withdrawals the worst withdrawals you can get I was 20x sicker than before and I thought I was fuccn dying I didn’t sleep for damn near a week or really eat much but after I had to go back to the Er again and they gave me 8mg a day for 7 days until I found a new Dr I was able to find a Dr he got me he got me on a regular dose of 12mg a day and I was feeling better in 2 days it was like a miracle that 4 more MGs would help me that much but I was also given 300mg of gabapettn and hydroxiline for sleep and anxiety because I was also on Xanax for 4 years 1mg and he said that I was also battling a benzo withdrawal that are deadly it was the worst I ever felt and I wish that on nobody I hope this info helps hit me back if you have any questions. 👍🙏
When I tried to wean down on suboxone after 13 yrs of 3 mg a day I then got down to 1/2 gram for 2 weeks and stopped. I could not sleep and had insomnia for 3 weeks and started back on subs again after feeling like I was having a nervous breakdown, the worst situation I had was no sleep. No amount of sedatives or comfort meds helped either.I started to take them again and disgusted! I hope this shot will help me quit because I always had some sleep issues my whole life.Anyone have any advice? Ty
If this is true that folks can get a few shots and then stop with very minimal withdrawals that’s incredible and very promising. Honestly, I don’t believe it tho
Yes it it. I went today and talk to my doctor today and got scheduled my appointment for. They said it’s possible to get 2 to 3 shots and come off any time you feel your ok by yourself with out it. It all depends how much you were a user.
1) Gojng from dosing every day, sometimes multiple times a day to once a month is a major step for an addict in recovery. You’re no linger obsessing over that reward of popping a pill. 2) The major benefit here is that medicine decreases as such a slow state, withdrawal is often minimal or non existent. Which is amazing because subs are notoriously difficult to stop.
Name is George F. I have been on 16mg of Saboxan for over 14 years I received 2 injections of sublicade of 300mg it has been almost a month in a half. My question is am I out of the woods as far as going through withdrawals or is it to early to say,? The hospital wants me to get a 150mg shot and seem to want to keep me receiving more and more injections but I want to get off of Saboxan asap. Anyone else out there feel like their sabox facility wants to keep them as a patient for as long as they can inject you month after month. My facility used to be run by the very best of the best, people who cared about the broken, but this new workers are without care and absolutely no bedside manner. My doctor wouldn't call in my sabox on purpose so I would have to go long weekends with nothing. This happened 3 times in 6 months. She's a Wicked Witch. I'm rambling Sublicade is the greatest thing. One day the shit is going to hit the fan and if your still on 16, 24mg you are gonna suffer like you never have suffered. Both I am positive will happen. God Bless Everyone

@@RAET302WOW what an amazing testimony!! This video also helped me feel hope when hopeless to get off subs. Been on them way too long and sick of it! My dr ordered me brixadi shot and I’m hoping it’ll have the same effect. Looking for ppl that had success with the shot. You are inspiring me, thank you so much for taking the time to share your story! Much love to you! ❤

Hey just curious to know how your doing. Im 5 months since my last shot. Very mild wd but totally manageable and im a pussy when it comes to wd!
5 years flew by and it felt like groundhog day
Totally get that.
Dr Kenneth Star has devoted his life to helping people with OUD and is one of the few that I will listen to as he always has success stories and knows what he is doing. I will be sharing this video with my provider as he has heard of sublocade but never administered it to any of his patients but he is progressive and open so thank you for the share.
Just got my first 300 mg shot going from 20 mg subs a day , I'm doing it! I'm excited I've seen more positive reviews than negative , I'll keep posting about how I feel
You still doing well? :)
I was wondering the same thing? Im on the same mg right now and thinking about switching to the shot. Would be curious to know your experience.
@samanthaplans2023 I did 3oo twice then 100 then stopped going and it is the best thing I ever did no withdrawal and I was afraid at first but best thing I ever did , injection sire hurts a Lil but goes away best choice I made and I'm a horrible w.d person thatsxwhybi was so afraid to ever get clean but I promise you it works if your ready

@aspiealpaca1917 great stopped getting after 100 MG and no wd
I’ve been on and off suboxone for 13 years and on 5/18/24 I took one 300 dose after 5 years of being on suboxone steady but I never went back 30 days later to get my second dose and zero withdrawal symptoms so far.
I got my shot today! I really hope it's a miracle I'm hoping for.
I really don't think ppl are aware of sublocade or maybe it was just me but this could help so many ppl and in my area, I had never heard of this until recently. I hope all is going great for you 🙏🏽 ❤
Got an update on how everything is going ?
@@swingbag12 I was supposed to get my second shot on the 7th and I didn't feel like I needed it so I changed it to the 15th. I cancelled that one also. I'm so happy to be clean! Sublocade really was a miracle worker for me. I am so happy to have come across your videos! Thank you!!!!
I also did it w only 2 shots. I'm free of everything now 10 months later with no withdrawal symptoms. Thank you God
@@swingbag12 I only got the one shot in the begining of July. I didn't want to have to get another shot. I didn't have any withdrawal symptoms like sickness but my cravings are very high To the point where I'm even dreaming about it. I don't think that's anything that can be fixed though medication or anything. Hopefully just time and staying strong.
Looooooooove this doc wish I could call him right now and talk through some stuff with him.
Ive been doing great. 10 mg a day, now 1 shot per month. 7 months now. Im feeling ok. I recommend it.
I just had my injection about a week ago and I was on 24 mg of subs. I am still having to take suboxone right now and I'm hoping this injection works out for me so far a lot of it is a mental thing cuz I'm so used to taking Suboxone and I've been having bad cravings.
im on the process right now i dis two shots of 300 mg an one of 100 mg ive been two months now from my last shot no withdrawal symptons yet
Damn that’s great to hear how do your feel now? What mg and how long were you on subs prior to the shot?
Yep sublocade works just like he said. I was on Suboxone for years and I got so tired of running out early and all the bullshit that comes along with it! I got a total of six shots and it's been 7 months now since my last shot I feel just fine! If something happens in the next few months I'll update you
I think my doc keeps me on it to keep getting that $300 a month and doesnt take insurance
Yea why do you think most insurances don’t cover sublocade? I’m pay 2015 dollars a shot hoping 300/100/100 will work…I’m done with the pill after four years.
3 300s, 1 100, early December… almost September, zero withdrawals.
Man that’s an awesome testimony bro I curious how long and what Mg did you take of subs? I been on subs for almost 3 months started at 12mg I’m down to 7-8mg a day and want off of them very soon .
Thank you Jesus please I would like to know more about this pleas get back to me I am on 4mg for a few years now and really want to stop if this is true it would be a miracle
I have been trying to get off Suboxone for over a year but whenever I hit the 2 mg place my withdrawal symptoms are so bad that I end up going back up to 4.
Will sublocade reduce withdrawal symptoms when starting at 2 mg’s? How do you dose someone who starting point is 2 mg’s?
Hey birth- did you ever start your sublocade? I was on 2mgs of Suboxone when I received my first shot also. It was a God given miracle. I can give you my 2¢ if you're interested
I was hooked on opiates for 15 years, with the last 4 of those being a slave to Suboxone.
I received 4 Sublocade injections 300/300/100/100, with the last being November 1st 2022. Other than some intermittent sleep issues its been a breeze.
Yeah, I've been on Methadone about 12 years and the withdrawals are a MONSTER that I don't want to fight. Wish there was a miracle drug.

Hi, Happy are people who can come to your clinic. Do you know where i can find a sublocade provider in europe? Cant find anyone.
Also my doctors office hooked me up with a discount card so I pay nothing for the shot. With insurance the shot would have cost me 45 dollars.
Please give a more in depth video for people who microdosed onto suboxone, can I switch even though the fentanyl is still showing up in my system? Or do we need to wait till the fentanyl is completely out and then switch over?
I been on suboxone for almost 20 yrs! I was also so done with this crap controlling my life, the fear of running out ,getting sick etc... i tappered from 3/ 8mg strips/ day (24mg) down to about 6mg / day for 2 mos. And i just got my 1st sublocade shot 2 days ago! It was the 300 mg shot ,and idk if its too strong but i have been puking , cant sleep, feel nauseated and dizzy. Im 115lbs and am wondering if the 100 mg shot wouldve had the same result? Unfortunately my dr office is closed till Monday wondering if this is normal n ill feel better in a few days or if its not normal n go to the er?
Another big pharma email some people say 300/100/100 or 300/300/100/100 ?
I starty first shot monday it is now Saturday n i take 24 mg of suboxone a day n im so scared of withdrawal symptoms
How has the process been for you? My dr is recommending me switch to the shot and im very nervous about this.

It's the same thing..... it's hard to get off that. Vivitrol the only one that doesn't have withdraw
Ive taking 24:mg subutex since the year 2000, i am scared to quit this . I maybe get the urge to take it after i quit, then its to late , maybe i get real drugs then. This is things that floating in my brain., and i cant start with drugs again , i have 2 kids now. so i will probably take my injections monthly for the rest of my life , i started with 160 mg buvidal injektion for about 7 months now and its very nice to only take it 1once a month. Anyone that tested subutex injektion?
❤
Would we be able to take it ourselves? Or the doctor still has to do it for us ??
I watched your video and I ended up getting my first shot on 6/7/23. Was supposed to have gotten my second one but I'm still doing fine and am so happy not to need to put a drug into my body! Thank you!

Why we don't have sublocade in Europe? 😔
You have brixadi in Europe
Can you do an in depth video from people who are just starting suboxone, but want to be on sublocade?
Can you use this to get off methadone?
I finally went to Ti the ER and they said that they couldn’t give me any yet because I was wasn’t a 10 on the COW system that shows how bad your withdrawals are so waited over 40 hours and took the coke test and I thought I was sick enough so I took 16mg and it threw me into
Precipitated withdrawals the worst withdrawals you can get I was 20x sicker than before and I thought I was fuccn dying I didn’t sleep for damn near a week or really eat much but after I had to go back to the Er again and they gave me 8mg a day for 7 days until I found a new Dr I was able to find a Dr he got me he got me on a regular dose of 12mg a day and I was feeling better in 2 days it was like a miracle that 4 more MGs would help me that much but I was also given 300mg of gabapettn and hydroxiline for sleep and anxiety because I was also on Xanax for 4 years 1mg and he said that I was also battling a benzo withdrawal that are deadly it was the worst I ever felt and I wish that on nobody I hope this info helps hit me back if you have any questions. 👍🙏

2 months I heard or less
Ok it’s just taking one form and going to another… what am I missing
You’re missing that you stop after the subblocade shot cuz it seems you down all on its own auto pilot

It absolutely works! I'm on my second shot.
Dr ken is my go too, even my provider dosnt have a clue, ill be the one driving the taper, thanks to you Dr Ken Starr😁😁
yes, I love you Ken Starr,
Name is George F.
God Bless Everyone
i have not had this experience my dr in philadelphia is all for me getting off due to my negative drug tests for over a yr and his confidence that sublocade has very few withdrawal symptoms, so after many months of going 1-2 weeks after my injection i feel confident that i’m ready.
