  • Hey guys, I made a jigsaw table this time.
    [Download the plan here]
    jisaku-koubou.com/downloads/j...
    【Plan List】
    jsk-koubou.stores.jp/
2-way locking arm system allows you to control your jigsaw easier than ever.
Even with a large project, the arm will not get in your way. The arm accepts longer blades up to 150mm, you can cut any lumbers as thick as 100mm without any issues.
The table is also equipped with a T slot for circular cutsΦ80~Φ450mm) and a foot pedal for maximum efficiency and control.
[DIY Jigs used in this video]

First off I gotta say this is probably the most fascinating thing I've seen in a long time. Secondly, it also made me realize that as a middle aged man that I haven't learned a thing. I guess as long as I'm breathing, it's never too late. Thanks for the inspiration.

And I am not enough to fully admire (just) the completed work to the whole construction process..
and tell you the truth, for me every step..Every step is a great pleasure and even if you stopped
every step, the enjoyment was no less!
So, thank you very much sir for sharing the public with your works!

I love how the jigs and tools that you've made previously are used to make subsequent tools and jigs.
Truly, you are building an efficient, fully equipped workshop starting with basic tools and a whole lot of plywood! I can't wait to see what's next.

Finally we have a seasoned craftsman. I am convinced that this project will bring back happiness to my life. His skill level is at a different level, I assure you that. It's not really about the tools he has, there is a different magic on his fingers. I am not kidding, rewind the video and take a close look at the way he uses his fingers, that's where the magic is, especially the fingers on his right hand. This has inspired me to try this at home with my jigsaw.

I admire the flawless workflow in this and ,of course, the sleek design of the finished product. I think a mark of the clarity of the process is that it requires no voiceover to explain the actions taken or explanation of the why. I am reminded of Roy Doty’s “Wordless Workshop”, which was a monthly feature of Popular Science magazine. It consisted of a series of cartoon panels showing how to make various items without any text commentary except dimensions.

This is one of the better jigsaw table designs I've seen, BUT, I have gathered together all the pieces to make one, plus one no one else has used. I bought a scrap jigsaw today for £2 and I'm going to use the original blade guide roller from this behind the 2 bearings to centralise the blade.

  • @jamesschenken1636

Excellent design and video. The only changes in the design that comer to mind are:
    1) Cut a small block the exact thickness of the depth that the bearing support protrudes plus one millimeter and glue it back near the rear of the support post so that when adjusting for the thickness of the piece to be cut, you can just rest the post on the material and then lock it into place.
    2) If the position of the T-track was at a diagonal, then the size of a circle to be cut would be almost 50% larger.
Even so, an excellent design and build. Congratulations!

Agree with some below comments, a bearing on the back of the blade would make it great and the foot switch could even be a dead man switch so you have to keep your foot on it to have power. I'd like to see some transparent guards on some of your machines too.
