I love small workshop channels, it shows some of the best ingenuity you will find in woodworking. It also proves you don't need some enormous workshop the size of a DIY store to produce quality work.
Wow the dedication , the perfect marriage of wood and metal , the microscopic atention to detail. What a talented person you are. Perfection like a katana
I bought many different types of machine and tools over the years since young. Only able to use it when volunteering at church doing props for Christmas and other's events. I wish I have the space to set up a proper workshop to construct anything that I wanted. Working with different types of machines and tools was always my hobby and working on it relieved me of my stress in life. It is only possible when living in a landed house which I do not. I am 66 years old now. Fit and still hoping for it. Watching videos like this kept my desire burning. Thank you and God bless!
It's refreshing to see a wood professional wearing slippers and socks while working vs boots like in the US. The workshop feels like someone's living room vs someone's garage.
Yasuhiro thankyou for sharing your tool and design skills. The crafted special wood handles are nice and look comfortable, the vacume system is over the top, a great solution to an enduring problem. Most of all is how you approach a situation and instead of trying to get out of it you get into it patiently and create something nice and useful.
Well, it took a year but it was well worth it. This is where price vs quality design shine the difference in the final product. Congrats for this great work of engineering and practicality!

Loved the video and your craftsmanship,. But amateur?! That would be a reach by any standard. You know doubt have some artistic talent because that wood stop you made for the chopsaw was over the top ingenious especially the way that it was perfectly cut so when the slide reached it ...nothing touched! That and the dust collector really impressed me to no end but all of it is just absolutely beautiful as well as totally functional. Great job young man

I wish I had the ability/talent to make such beautiful AND functional projects! My shop is SUPER small (I’ve seen bigger garages 😒), but I have all of the tools here, just nowhere to really use them quickly. I have to pull the tool out (after I finally find it) use it, move it out of the way and dig for the next. Having the most commonly used tools right in one spot and ready to go, may not only save space, but time as well. This is great! 😊 Oh, and I’m an amateur, as well as lack the basic patience it takes to do something like this. I love the fact that you’ve made this available and worked in such detail, in case I ever decide to make this an undertaking. Not sure how long this took you, but I would be working on it for years and probably never finish lol

The attention to detail, the thoughtfulness… Thank you for that!
I've had this almost exact idea myself a while back just not yet got round to making it. I used to work at IKEA and when they re-furbished a large area of the store over lockdown, they pulled out several departments and it all went out for recycling. One department threw out an old expensive solid wood kitchen worktop. About 2.5 metres long and the far right end had a rounded square taken out which was where a sink went. I'm going to be building a desk in my garage and using this as my worktop. I had initially thought of cutting the end off with the hole in it but then decided to route out around it to make it square so I can place a flat piece of ply. If I cut more than one out out I can fix a powertool to the underside and have a modular function to it by using my circular saw, planer, router, jigsaw etc. Now, I think I'll cut the end off and make your desk instead - that way I can put it on lockable wheels and take it out of the garage/workshop and have the mess out there instead which will make it far easier to clean up.
My friend-you are wonderful for making this video and most importantly-you shared your plan and i am most thankfull! Will build this amazing workbench myself in near future! Cheers ! 😁😁👏👏👏
