They have a huge catalogue of hits. I think you'll like most of them. "West End Girls," "Its a Sin," "What Have I Done to Deserve This," "Always on My Mind," "Heart," "Left to My Own Devices" are but a few more of their hits.

Don't take this song at face value, it is sarcastic. It is really criticising a society whose main values are just based on making money. Pet Shop Boys are very clever.
Most people seem to miss that point. If you see this video you can also see hints of the fact that Neil is gay.

They not only made numerous mega hits during the 80's. They have a fantastic career that is not finished. Every album and project they make is amazing ! They have made a lot of great collaborations (last one with years and years, Dreamland is fantastic). I hope someday there will be more reaction on more recent songs.
From an Allstate commercial from Super Bowl 2021 and this song re-entered the billboard dance charts into the top 5! West End Girls also re-entered same chart not long after in top 5 as well. What the exposure of a commercial during superbowl can do for a song(s)!

I think you might want to listen to the lyrics a little more carefully before calling this one your theme tune - the song is ironic. The character singing is a loser ("my car is parked outside...I'm afraid it doesn't work" etc.). PSB were satirizing 80s yuppies.
I hope AllState got permission to use this song . I know they sort of switched it up but it is their lyrics.
