  • Hi Guys,
In this video I'm gonna show you a little hidden but amazing story about the Philippines and the Aetas tribes in the Pinatubo mountains here in the Philippines.
Most people referred to them as the African tribes of the Philippines because of their color and the way of life in the mountains or isolated areas Luzon.
But with the little time I stay with them I wanna say no matter their root they are very kind and friendly like other Filipinos. They are so generous and welcome strangers with smiles in their little homes.
I was with Nornam King who was fortunate to graduate with a degree among many Aetas, his father is Roman King and Sir Roman King is the Chairman of the Aetas community in the Pinatubo mountains (Barangay Inario)

Beautiful people. They look Melanesian. Remember that the Filipino archipelogo is so close to New Guinea, and in Eastern Indonesia, they could easily pass for locals. As many in NTT are mixed Austronesian-Melanesian.

Black Filipinos are some of the most marginalized groups in the islands, with very little representation. Calling them African tribes won't bring them mainstream representation. We can all celebrate blackness without labeling every black Asian minority as African.

The Aeta tribe must have affinity with the Pacific

Aetas are NOT from Africa. Even though they are black people, they are not from Africa. Aetas are the original Pacific Islanders from Oceania like Guam, Hawaii, & Australia. Aborigines are native black Australians. They are black, but are NOT from Africa. Just because people are black, they are NOT all from Africa. Get your facts straight! I am a royal descendant of the Aetas. The European white colonies miscatagorized that all blacks are from Africa which became slaves in the United States. Aetas were NEVER slaves. We are very proud of our true culture. Our history was erased when the Spaniards took over Philippines.

@@TravelwithSuccess yes you are correct. It’s a tough time traveling globally, due to the pandemic. But really just in general. I thought you had a part 2 from the same visit. Will look out for the next one. Ty!
Reading through this thread is really something else. I see what is obvious, and think logically. No one can deny the dark skin and curly hair. Altho the consensus on this thread is that Aetas are originally malenesians, one can’t help but ask. But where did they come from? Just my guess, and so far nothing else has convinced me otherwise, from “the” continent😜

Philippine Negrito People Have the Highest Level of Ancient Denisovan DNA in the World . They aren't African, well not a current African population since they aren't genetically related to any current African tribe. Their closes DNA relatives are Papuans and Australian aboriginals. These people are actually more political correct Ancient Africans. The world is full of black people but not all black people related they evolved differently once they left Africa and their genes changed. Some kept their skin color while others lost their skin pigmentation and developed other characteristics like straight hair like the Melanisians population in the South Pacific. All humans are related regardless of skin color but one must also show each group unique genetic history. Negritos are not African in the modern sense. They are Asian population of the various groups that populated the Asian and Pacific Regions. People see a color or physical attributes and are quick to compare to themselves and don't understand the cultural and biological evolution of a certain population that makes the unique. Love the video and love that you saw yourself in them. I think if you started looking for similarities between other people and not base it on their skin color or looks the world would be a better place. I often see myself in people of various races not just those that look or act like me.

Every human came from Africa. Firstly, a group of Homo Erectus migrated from Africa to Asia and Europe. The group that migrated to East Asia evolved to Denisovans. The group that migrated to West Asia and Europe evolved to Neanderthals. The group that remained in Africa evolved to Homo Sapiens. Then Homo sapiens migrated to Asia and Europe and, by those migrations, may have caused the extinction of both Denisovans and Neanderthals. However, just before, the Neanderthals and Denisovans became extinct, it is thought that some of the Homo Sapiens that migrated to Europe and West Asia may have hybrdized with Neanderthals, while the Homo Sapiens that migrated to East Asia may have hybridized with Denisovans. This explains why most people, except those currently described as sub-saharan Africans, have Neanderthal and Denisovan genes. Of course there are some Homo Sapiens that migrated out of Africa that MAY not have hybridized with Denisovans. In short, every human being on earth is originally African! Amazing, don't you think?!

They have their own location where they can live peacefully and happily away from the stressful urban life, where they can keep their beautiful traditions...
