Aetas are known to be nomads and are very good hunters but much of the jungle and lush vegetation just seems hard up and is very slow to come back ever since the 2nd most powerful volcanic eruption ever recorded (the first one happened underwater).
All of that area used to be very jungly and very green, unlike now which is mostly gray. A really drastic change to their nomadic way-of-life.
Btw, did you know that the Aetas were the ones who taught the American soldiers jungle survival skills, which they passed down or also trained others soldiers with until today.

People here do not make distinctions. You go to Luzon and people have lighter skin. You go to Mindanao people have darker skin. All are Filipinos. All are welcome.

This people are part of the Southeast Asian ethnic groups that Spanish called "Negritos" (it means "little blacks").
Originally they were majority in that region (thousands of years ago), and probably they are descendants of some of the first humans that migrated from Africa to the east through Asia.
Over time, they were mostly absorbed and replaced by mongoloids that arrived from the north (from Central Asia and Northeast Asia) in bigger numbers and today are majority. Also, that's why today, people of this ethnic groups are pretty much admixtured, and in fact many are predominantly mongoloid.

It doesn't take a rocket scientist to know who is the most dominate on this EARTH, who is the most INFLUENTIAL and special, it's so-called blk people, u know that. If you don't know you come from blk people, we don't know come out of no other race as we are the original people of the earth. @@zephdo2971 That is completely ridiculous. The first and original inhabitants are Black Africans who migrated from Africa. This is the reason why the indigenous population of every single continent, are Black Africans. The caucasian is a result of a de-evolution of the African man and women when they encountered an ice age which caused them to lose their melanin, for the sebum which protects the scalp, to move into the hair, and for their pineal glands to shrink and calcify.

The good thing about the education is pubic colleges/universities are free, but they have to pay for books and travel and housing allowances. Private universities are not free, same like in states. But still super cheap by western standards. I don't donate to many causes because many NGO's monetary donations seem to go to the top but locals receive minimal resources. Therefore, I do my little part by helping a few students with their monthly allowances for personal effects and travel/lodging fees. I feel better knowing they receive all the funds and benefit directly.

these people are some of the most marginalized in the philippines. there's often a huge regional discrimination going on there. for instance, if you're from the visayas or mindanao and you go to luzon particularly manila, you often get ridiculed most of the time because of your accent. you are also seen as a lesser class. the term "bisaya" can sometimes be used in such a negative connotation. i'm not even referring to the negritos with that. these are your typical malay looking filipinos. then you have the indigenous negritos, that includes aetas, ati, etc have it worse than any ethnic groups in the country. it's mostly because of their darker skin tone and curly hair which are both seen in the philippines as unattractive features. the beauty standard there is having light skin tone also with straight hair. you can mostly blame the media into conditioning locals to have that beauty standards. some people blame it on colonial inherited mindset.

FOH with your bullsh*t. Learn some anthropology and genetics so you don’t sound so ignorant. Don’t be so scared of logic. These people’s ancestors are some of the earliest to leave Africa meaning they are the least related to modern Africans. Modern Asians branched out from the same ancestral group of the Aetas. They’re closely related to South East Asians. If you’re not so caught up with Race you would t be so blind. Do you know how stupid you’ll look if they ran your claims against actual data?

I think you have a responsibility to educate modern Africans/Diaspora descends(Black folks) that these are not ‘Black people’…In short, they descend from the earliest groups to leave Africa and migrate eastward. They are the furthest related to modern Africans. Everyone else non-Black looking are closer related to modern Africans…One explanation is that the Aetas and similar people retained much of the original phenotype because they remained near the equator…These are all basic anthropology. Idk what’s so hard to understand…So many Black people are obsessed with race and are conditioned to faithfully believe old European concepts of race which are now obsolete. Nowadays they believe crap from cultish Black supremacist groups like Black Hebrew, Hotep etc (which ironically just remixes white supremacist race concepts). This ignorance is spreading like wild fire. Seems like many Black folks are doing a fine job disinforming each other. It’s incredibly sad…That said, we don’t need them to meddle with Filipino history. We are also conquered people. Much of our identities/traditions/spirituality have been lost as well…Stop columbusing what’s ours!

they're black, hence why the they are called "negritos" (small black people). It's quite interesting how modern people play semantics with things like this like these arbitrary concepts haven't already been placed centuries ago. Saying they're not black is as valid and saying African are not black too. Per the racial eugenics many people (ironically) follow and perpetuate, they are black, just not Africans. No more African than anyone else outside of Africa -aside from the recent diaspora.

Hi, can you send me the link where I can donate money, clothing, toiletries and supplies to the Aeta people?? How can I start new housing and retail development in their city and start pushing for slum clearance? I'm U.S. freed slaves ancestry (Freedmen) by the way. Let me know because I am into skilled trades. And also let me know how I can work on designs for a new Aboriginal township for them with blocks of businesses, health clinics, a bank, hotels and paved roads. How can I bring them new cars?? I have so many questions!!
