I bought the paper white and returned it for the basic cuz it’s smaller and I didn’t need it to be waterproof!! I currently read in my phone with no migraines I just wanted a kindle so I’m not distracted with the apps on my phone.
YES!! My parents have a pool & that’s the only time I feel safer having the Paperwhite or I totally would’ve gotten the basic. I’ve never seen the size in person.. how much smaller is it?
ive been loving my kindle experience with the paperwhite and i almost screamed with joy how you are a harry potter girlie too!! Im reading the books for the first time and i absolutely adore the series
I just brought myself a paper white kindle and I am so happy I always read a lot now I don’t have to weigh my handbag down with a heavy book.I just throw my weightless kindle in my bag .So happy❤❤❤

Amazon would have to pay Apple something like 30% of each purchase if they allowed digital purchases in the app. That's why you have to purchase books through a browser, on your computer, or on your Kindle.
I don’t have one but I did order a fire 7 tablet (2022) to start my ebook journey!!! Hopefully I’ll like it enough to purchase a paper white in the future!!

I’m getting the kindle paperwhite signature edition 32gb one this week I’m so excited to get it already started to get stickers and be getting a case and a pop socket to decorate the kindle! A kindle would be perfect for me for travel and comfort I don’t have a lot of space for books so a kindle is perfect for me and I’m new to reading and booktok so I’m really excited to get the kindle I’ll still buy the books just not all the time can’t wait! The kindle is a early birthday present to myself 😂🤭

Which kindle is best for reading outside…we do a lot of camping and I wondered about glare…hard to see my phone in sunshine so I was wondering if that is also a problem with kindles.
The KU service is cheaper than buying coffee or tea everyday. The reason you can't buy books on the kindle app is because Apple wanted a surcharge for the ebooks. Kindle didn't want to do that and it would probably cost us more to read ebooks if they did.
The app thing definitely makes sense after it’s explained! After I figured out a genre I really like, KU has been AMAZING!! Such a great way to read a lot of books.

So just some advice! I don’t put my stickers on my case, i use tape so that i can change them out! It’s never messed up my kindle and I’ve changed out my stickers at least 6 times since i got it 😅

this is a super gentle call in, i promise, but can i ask you to reconsider platforming harry potter? like fully read the books you own and enjoy them, that’s allowed, but JK Rowling is now allowed to meet with politicians in the UK to try to ban life saving healthcare from children and she excuses it bc of how culturally popular Harry Potter is/claims HP’s popularity is a sign that people agree with her. it’s really, really scary. I feel like we need to pull back and not platform her work anymore and let it drift towards cultural obscurity all that being said, i hope you update us on the stickers as you go! i can’t wait to see them! 🥰

Try mag safe pop sockets. You can change them out if you want a different look and there is not adhesive to prevent removal.
