I love this case. When I got my Lg V10 bI got a clear cover because I didn't want to cover up the color. It's great.! Awesome solid protection, but there is one problem. After a while it starts to yellow & it makes your phone look dull & ugly. Definitely not a fan of that. I have tried to wash it & still is yellow. There are now smokers anywhere around it & it is rarely in the sun so it is just the way clear plastic ends up. Thank you for the review Flossy :)

+timmyboy I figured out what happened. I was using the charger that came with it, "fast charger", it doesn't work. I went back to my s5 charger, charges from 0 to 100 in 1 hour.
+isaias rosa This case actually doesn't cover the metal ring at all. The problem is that the metal rails on the side of the phone are being used to complete the circuit and get a capacitance reading. If you press very firmly when using the scanner to help the reader get a reading at point of contact, or if you touch the metal rails, everything works. I showed this in my video.
Guy at work coped the V10 and bought a case but that shit wasn't even working right. Made using the finger print scanner hard going to let him know about this one.
I have the smoke gray case and it still doesn't work 100% all the time with the scanner. Still though a nice case which doesn't add a lot of bulk but will still protect.
You can probably do this by using the lanyard cutout at the bottom left of the case. Or even use some type of metal or foil near the opening that touches the phone itself. That would probably work perfectly. As of now it's not a huge deal breaker for me as I have it setup to unlock automatically with my connected Bluetooth watch (Pebble) when it's near.
I do the same thing. Had the Galaxy S6 Edge and traded it for the V10. So far I absolutely love the V10!! it does get warm when recording video, and as big as it is I wish they had given it front speakers, but I still dig this phone!
This case is the Rambo of cases! I droped my v10 on solid rocks from over 1,5 meters high with not even a scratch on the case!!! 10/10 for this case!

That would be my video! This case is great if you don't use the scanner but it does not work every time with scanner sadly.

I did calibrate it when the case was on... still doesn't work all the time. Works perfect when the case is off though.
