Good how-to. Odd that the little square wasn't punched out on your coil layer. It was on mine. I got the Wireless charge/NFC kit from NeWisdom off Amazon for $15. The instruction card and the sticker look the same as your kit. I did notice on mine that the case does bulge out just a hair (noticeable around the volume buttons). It doesn't bother me or affect the fingerprint sensor at all and honestly, I don't know if it was even flush before I installed the kit.

I'm asking because I don't want to risk dropping calls for the ability to wirelessly charge.
+XfirechickenX The coil pieces on the original backing is the NFC antenna. By switching to the YooTech or any other aftermarket coils your adding in wireless charging plus New NFC Coil.

I can't seem to find a charging kit that compatible with PMA chargers. The OEM wireless back states it's compatible with both. Have you tried yours on one, like at Starbucks?
the link takes me to an lg g4 not v10, and there's no option to select v10, I have searched high and low and can't find the yoothech wireless charging model for the v10.
3. You are comparing Apples to Oranges... When it comes to the V10 vs the Note 5.....one thing I will say..... The V10 can handle more abuse "out of the box"...
I bought a configured charging v10 back off eBay and the charging "puck" I bought goes to "charging" color but the phone doesn't seem to charge while on the pad and in fact seems to discharge. I looked through the settings menu and there isn't anything to adjust. The phone doesn't beep likes your did. Is there something I'm missing or is the puck too small?
+RSBSTEADICAM 1st thing i would do is reboot the phone after installing the new backplate. then unplug and plug back in the charging pad. 2nd Make sure the both items are Qi enabled charging compatibility.

The "puck" I bought was supposedly compatible with the v10 Qi system but all it seems to do is heat up the battery without actually charging. After watching your video last night I left the phone on the pad and now it is hot as hell and the battery is at 39%. Normal cable charging seems to work fine.

Yeah your best bet is to just buy a case with it already installed if you're not someone that's good at doing stuff like this. Don't wanna break it or ruin it somehow then be out your money completely rather than pay a few extra bucks and get one pre-installed.
I kind of doubt that voids the warranty just because it is a back door panel, but if you really want to be on the safe side by a replacement back door to put on before you send it in for any warranty work.

Does wireless charge too slow that the battery still drains while it is charging? Or is it because the coil is not aligning perfectly?
The battery will not drain while it's wireless charging... ONLY if your playing games while it's charging it might drain.

That is a feature that was created back in the KitKat days...It should show up on your lock screen when you have the phone plugged in charging..
