I like the fact that the bar is at the top. Most of the time when I am using my phone I accidently tap either the home or recent apps button and it drives me crazy. Got to give it to LG, the phone looks pretty good.

I like that lg is pushing video and camera functions to the forefront. I love samsung Note phones but I am definitely considering pick up the lg V10 and making youtube videos.

Looks good, i like the rugged build much better than glass front and back - one thing LG have not been good at is display brightness it's like 2012 phones so hope this is a lot better. The processor isn't anything great either - still, removable battery and sd storage a big plus.
Four feet drop design is pretty robust. Just like the Galaxy S6 Active, just saying. Does the memory expansion slot for the SD card compatible with XC SD cards?
I agree with Mike but I think that they should have two of those notification panels, one on the top and one on the bottom. Then they should give you the option to switch between both of them or have both of them on. Imagine if those panels were the top and bottom bezel, without the other bezels being there? Now that would be awesome and an absolute buy for me, given the other features that they have.
Lg has been doing some true inovations in smartphones for some years now. Their G2 and G3 with back buttons and ultra thin bezels which made other smartphones look ugly...i mean look at the sony Z1 Z2 Z3...or even apple iphones still have pretty large bezels. LG puts BIgger displays in smaller phones. Then it is G4 with awsum camera. And now...this phone. The V10 just perfect...that's what a smartphone should be. Its tough..has removable battery...brilliant display..micro sd slot...great camera...lg ui also has improved a lot. I think LG should be given a lot of credit. people always compare samsung and apple for the best smartphone. But guess what...its LG who wins this time...Nailed It..!!!
I have this phone rate it 10/10 , I first heard of the LG Optimus G from AT&T and then I switch to the lg g2 to tmobile from there I love the G two it was the best phone I have ever had I have the G four and honestly I was not very excited about 3 Giga bytes of RAM and its processor is actually kind of slow, it could not even multitask with two or three apps it what is slow down, you could definitely tell the difference this phone is the best

I don't suppose that secondary screen would be very ergonomic, plus accessing those shortcuts may accidently interfere with notification panel.
