So I am in my senior year of a BS in Aerospace Engineering and for our capstone, we are building a table top satellite. I was put on the Power, Propulsion, and Thermal team. Recently, we have had concerns with our power source getting too hot, it's four 18650s. With all my years of watching you tear phones apart, the vapor chamber came to mind as a method to cool the batteries without being too big, after all it is a satellite meant to sit on a table. Now I'm worried that if it doesn't work, it's my blunder but either way, it's cool that the technologies overlap. Smart phones are kind of just satellites not in orbit and with no propulsion or attitude adjustment capabilities.
So good to see how inspiration goes around. I mean who would've thought 5 or 10 years ago that a satellite built by an aerospace engineer got its idea from a smartphone teardown video on TH-cam. Also how I can literally interact one on one like this.

Bro destroyed phone in seconds 😂😂
1 like = 1 rip for that poor phone 🥀🌹
Fun fact : 2019 redmi k 20 pro had the boron nitride thermal conductivity paste with multilayer cooling system . The first ever flagship killer
Yes I know what a headphone jack is and yes I should be stretching in the morning but what I didn't expect was how mad this video would make me because you're just wasting this phone and all of its components..... Coming from the 80s makes me frugal as hell and this video just broke me. 😢
😂 LoL
Fifth and early
One thing i miss about my nothing phone 2 is the back. People think its mostly a gimmick but its actually quite useful. Would like a matrix back even more
never underestimate this bend test, iv'e lost 3 phones in the back pocket, cause i forgot it was there and all i did, was sitting down.
of cause, this was before jerryrigeverthing...
I'm not even eligible for a credit card and just hearing Zack talk for 30 seconds made me want to get one!
My $20 phone is 6 years running and running and 100% battery drains like butter on a frying pan. I watch Jerry's videos to remind myself to purchase new phone with heartache
The knife scratch part of JRE videos never fails to give me goosebumps 😅
Pls do honor x9b durability test, people literally use that phone to hammer down nails on thick wood and chop jack fruits with it.
4:02 Me with an old phone that still has a headphone jack:
You know Zach just wanted to open the phone, cuz curiosity is the best teacher
Take a shot every time he used the word "heat".
😂😂😂
My back appreciates your concern
Jerry reminding us to have our twenty minutes of stretches before going to bed, after having a glass of warm milk, to have no problems sleeping until morning.
