This attraction was build for this spot, it’s so rare to have something like that. Sad to see it disappear, this a physical comedy that was made to be seen in a community setting like a live variety show setting. Like, does Disney know what they have there, Jim, you are missed.
Iger just can't sit on his hands and stop doing damage. He's better off to not touch anything. I guess every creative has their golden years when they did great work, only to "live long enough to see yourself become the villain" like Batman said.
The loss of the show with the roller coaster overlay in its place feels like the cheapest and least thought-out option to keep the Muppets in the park. "Least thought-out" in not so much the theming but more for how the ride would be excluding many Muppet fans that are too young/old to ride or don't really enjoy roller coasters to begin with. When I went to the parks at Age 6, I was too young to go on RnR but could always go see the Muppets anytime. That's going to be the biggest loss for new audiences going forward.
I personally don't go on roller coasters that have inversions so it will be a loss on that end as well. I do agree that it definitely makes the audience smaller but at least they are not gone completely.
I would love to see the Lost Great Muppets Movie Ride finally come to life at Hollywood Studios and Disney California Adventure. th-cam.com/video/JpnNssG_kKs/w-d-xo.html
I would love to relocate Rock ’N’ Roller Coaster, to the UK Pavilion. And then re-theme it as Rock ’N’ Roller Coaster: Starring The Beatles, based off The Beatles: Get Back, If These Walls Could Sing, Let It Be and Beatles ‘64 documentaries. And have Muppets Electric Mayhem be a coaster like this. th-cam.com/video/vSoT7fSAkc8/w-d-xo.htmlsi=V9J1vuYFxh-RJeMA

I originally recorded this to be posted in January but got too excited to wait to release it :D

I see.
It would be a shame to forget about the fact that Sesame Street was the forerunner of The Muppets
Sesame Street could be a whole video on their own

Disney making the show go away is a cheap 3d trick. 😢
Most of the Muppets have been euthanized.
