Definitely a great finale to your Animation Lookback on the Muppets and definitely enjoyed this series and hearing about the technical innovations in puppetry Jim Henson was able to accomplish in his lifetime and his studio continues to do today. Similar to the Disney animated films, the Muppets are definitely a great part of our childhoods that we’re glad exists and wouldn’t want to imagine living in a world without. Also looks like the next Animation Lookback will be on a studio that while its run was unfairly cut short, still has left some impact in the animation realm that will continue to live on.
In conclusion: Animation Lookback of The Muppets is not just the best episode of the Animation Lookback, but Animation Lookback of The Muppets is the greatest episode of all time next to Animation Lookback of Walt Disney Animation Studios+ (2019-2021)! After two years, I had a lot of fun with the Animation Lookback of The Muppets! And that is why I am happy to give the Animation Lookback of The Muppets (2022-2024) a 10/10! I will never forget my favorite episode. Next time of Animation Lookback, Get ready for Animation Lookback of Blue Sky Studios. That’s All Folks!
Muppet Vision 3D will forever go down as my favorite attractions in both Disney and Universal theme park history. I also wish we could’ve gotten The Great Muppet Movie Ride cause I imagine it would’ve been freaking awesome! And also the studio that Jim wanted down there reminded me exactly of Nickelodeon Studios in Universal Florida. But like all the issues with Florida not being a great location to film down there due to being a right to work state and not allowing relationships with entertainment unions, the reason why the trend to make Florida the next Hollywood or New York failed, then the studio probably most likely would’ve shut down too
That was a fun ride with your look back on the Muppets. Also that easter egg in the final clip does hint about the next animation studios to study from.
In some ways, it's almost like Jim went back to the days of the Wilkins coffee commercials, where they just did all that crazy stuff on a shoestring budget.
All right. Time to finish this Lookback at Walt Disney World. Update: Okay, so our next Lookback will be at Blue Sky. I'm both excited and nervous for this. Excited because it will be interesting to take a look at the company before it closed and the production of Nimona. But on the other hand, I don't think Animat is happy of the fact that he is going to look into the history of the later Ice Age sequels.
I was hoping that one day Animat would do a full-on editorial on the history of Nimona. But I guess a segment in Animation Lookback or even its own episode will do.
Disney Cruise Line’s Disney Dream and Fantasy gave the Muppets a chance to shine in the Midship Detective Agency, an interactive detective game where one of its 3 adventures has the Muppets starring in “the case of the stolen show”
Every time I went to a Disney Theme Park, I always attended Muppet Vision 3D. It was like some sort of tradition for my Orlando vacations. I took all sorts of pictures inside the theater. It’s also where I was formally introduced to the character of Bean Bunny, having previously seen him in the background of certain movies.
3:16 actually they should make muppetville a reality but they’d have to get the rights to henson’s other works like labyrinth rhe dark crystal and fraggle rock (but not sesame street, that’s off limits)
Now that was an awesome Conclusion! Sure I can say now I feel very disappointed we didn't get those rides they concept, all those ideas seemed amazing! Then again even if Jim was Alive who knows they would've done them anyway, and eventually taken them out once the popularity is shifted. Still, though it's nice that we got what we have and It truly is Jim's Greatest work. Also, Now I know where to go when visiting Disney World again This really has been quite the entertaining Lookback and I cannot wait for the next one!

We've now come to the finale of this lookback on the Muppets history, and it looks like we'll be looking into the Disney attraction, Muppet Vision 3D. With how much of a legacy the Muppets have left on the world, it was only a matter of time before they took their legacy to the parks. This lookback on the Muppets has been quite a journey of learning what it took to bring Kermit and the gang into the spotlight, filled with creativity, taking risks, and enduring a lot of drama. While the future of what the Muppets will do next is a mystery for the time being, one thing that cannot be denied is that they've left behind a legacy that has impacted millions around the world, and therefore, they'll always be remembered as entertainment icons. Thank you, Jim Henson and company, for all the hard work you've put into making the Muppet legacy a reality. One could say that because of this legacy and success, "they've done just what they set out to do, thanks to the lovers, the dreamers...and you."

Never knew that the boneyard of the back lot tour had the fire truck from Muppet vision 3-D. Odd, because I used to go on that ride a lot when it was around. It was one of my favorites. some stuff I know that they did have were vehicles from who framed Roger rabbit, including the dip machine, the steamroller, and some of the trolley cars, Jasper and Horace‘s van from the live action 101 dalmatians, one of the ships from the Rocketeer, I believe, and my favorite of the boneyard vehicles, Herbie. RIP studio backlot tour. Also, Ever since the ride closed, I’ve been wondering what happened to all those prop vehicles, and where they are now.
Blue Sky Studios? Eh, why not? they completed and in assumption they did get their happy ending... At least I hope they did. Yeah, You made a pretty good choice!

This was a great look back, and I can’t believe that Blue Sky Studios will be the next look back, but when will there be an “Animation Lookback: PIXAR Animation Studios+” in the future.
AniMat already did an Animation Lookback on Pixar and the Lookback is perfect as is and doesn’t need updating. I’d be more down for a sequel to it picking up where he left off with Brave to starting with Monsters University and down to there.

Hey, Animat, is there any chance that you could do a video looking into the history of Wish and how the original idea for the film became more memorable than what they got
I wish you would've talked about the history of the Muppet Viral Videos. I know you briefly mentioned them in Part 6, but they still were a huge part of Muppet history, as they played a role in the Muppet Show characters coming back in the public eye by the end of the 2000s & start of the 2010s. Still, this is wonderful look at the history of The Muppet Show & Sesame Street franchises (as well as a few other stuff like Sam and Friends). Your ending speech on why these characters have lasted so long is wonderful & so true! Good luck on your next Animation Lookback!

- Part 4 with more of Jeffrey Katzenberg’s tyranny and Michael Eisner's casualty during his time at the Walt Disney Company
- Part 5 with Jeffrey Katzenberg demanding Brian Henson to cut the song ‘When Love is Gone’ from “The Muppet Christmas Carol”
- Part 6 with “Muppets from Space” being a key factor for less theatrically-released projects from the Jim Henson Company
- Part 7 with “Muppets Most Wanted”, once again, ending any more chances of Muppet-related movies being put on the big screen

Been waiting since your Disney trip to hear about this!
Yeah I sure that ride. I also wonder where those prop vehicles are now. Maybe they’ve been relocated or maybe even auctioned off.
Blue Sky Studios? Eh, why not? they completed and in assumption they did get their happy ending... At least I hope they did. Yeah, You made a pretty good choice!
Better choice than Nickelodeon for… OBVIOUS reasons.
Dated cgi on Waldo aside, it’s an otherwise timeless show
The Animation Lookback of the muppets It's pretty amazing. Really showcase the ups and downs of their moments of course. I'm so excited to see what's the next animation Lookback would be.
Pixar animation plus?! DreamWorks animation plus?! Anyways, I can't wait for what the future holds
Nimona sneak peak? Blue Sky perhaps?
Nimona is next for Animation Lookback. also great presentation on Muppet Vision 3D as well as the interesting linsencing deals between Disney and Jim Henson's The Muppets.
Don't you mean "Blue Sky Studios"?
Next Time on Animation Lookback Presents: Blue Sky Studios
Blue Sky Studios is next, huh?
After the Titanic budget for Captain EO, how dare for Disney to nickel and dime Henson.
You can still find Muppet Vision 3-D at Disney Land and Disney World
The Disneyland version closed down in 2014
@@skunkman9815 Really?
I didn't know it closed down almost a full Decade ago until you brought it up.
At least the other one in Disney World is still around, right?
@@thefantasticretroreviewer3941yeah the one in Disney World at Disney Hollywood Studios is thankfully still there 👍
@@thefantasticretroreviewer3941as of right now, it’s still there. But I would like it to be available for those who can’t afford to go to the Disney parks.
Blue Sky studios is next guys!
I’m glad I was able to watch later. I don’t handle conflict well.
I hope you do a look back on Little Lulu, Felix The Cat, and Walter Lantz someday!
It's time to get things finished
OMG BLUE SKY!!!!!!!!
I would actually pay for Disney and the Muppets to release this film officially on home media.

20:58 That rumor may soon come true since it may be announced that Muppet Vision 3D is to close to make wau for Monsters Inc.
Sad sigh😞
And it's true
I loved this animation look back series.
And now it’s being torn down and replaced.
Did he forgot to mention that the company also made the Star Fox puppets for promoting the star fox game Star Fox Zero
muppet vison 3d is awesome I think Jim would've loved it
Great video man
Let’s pray 🙏 that muppets 3D never gets replaced
This was a wild 2 year ride...
blue sky ( I told yall it want goin be adult swim)
You know what should happen? Disney scraps the live-action Moana and replaces it with The Cheapest Muppet Movie Ever Made!
Or even a third part for the 2011 movie since it's already confirmed Tron Ares we probably going to get confirmed at the D23 freaky Friday 2 The Princess diaries 3 Hocus pocus 3 let's see how the new leadership at the live-action division will manage what I think will be a different direction then all the madness that we went through nowadays what it did work in the past decade with the live-action remakes it doesn't work in our days anymore The Little mermaid remake didn't make a billion dollars and if Mufasa prequel and Snow White follow the trend of disappointments it seems that I will be concrete the new direction that Disney will go
And The Muppets King Arthur.
@@hunterolaughlin Well, that would result in another Simpsons prediction coming true.
Just search up Muppets Go Medieval and you'll see what I mean.
No Fraggles?
I went there it was fun
Does this mean Blue Sky lookback or just a lookback on Nimona?
The former
What about Muppets Inside, The Muppet CD rom?
Hey, Mat. You forgot to mention that another one of Jim Henson’s last creative collaborations was for the first two Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movies.
My family, and I love Muppet Vision 3D
The next lookback looks to be a short one.
Unless he can find ways to make each episode longer by covering more details of each film.
Does anyone know what the next animation looked back is going to be? It was very vague in the hint.
Blue Sky Studios
@simplyjustfun6657 Oh, okay Thanks. Funny enough. I was actually hoping for Nickelodeon During the credits, but this will work.
I wish the mascot of Kirmitt and piggy return no fair they are not at the DHS anymore
