Hola, yo cambié toda la manguera de goma por cañería de acero inoxidable hasta el motor, puse el filtro antes de la bomba de bencina, es más seguro por los incendios!
You are very correct. The car started its life as a 1968. I converted the car to appear as an early 60’s beetle. Checkout some of my earlier videos, you can watch the whole process.
I would circle back on you safety wire on the hose clamp. Not the correct way and it will fail. (Just being helpful)

Where is the car show?
Local show, downtown.
It’s about a 35 min drive, further than our normal Sunday rides. Haha, We’ll make a video of us heading to the show.
It may be a "68" but nothing about that car (except the front seats) says "68."

That belt is wayyyy to loose!!
I noticed, tightened it shortly after making the video, thanks.
It’s only a fire hazard when using 1/4 hose.
Why please?
It’s designed for metric hose not std. 1/4 is a little big hence loose.
