#100percentwatchsquad Thunderhawk has made a few interesting baits in the past. This one looks like another winner! Versatility is something that I want from all my baits. Great video as always!
Quick glance it looks like Filter Shad, but it’s actually the Flitter Shad. Love the versatility of this lure, but I can never leave my buzz baits at home. 🎣
I had a black jitterbug that was the size of your hand Lost it never seen one that big and I worked it at night here in Texas 104 Aug 10-5 in the morning. Bam. Top noisy or lots of wake
Nice video as always! Have you tried the bates hundo yet? I have a bit of tackle problem…but that reel is something special. It’s pricey, but compared to some other reels it’s a steal for what it is. Plus it should last a lifetime. It throws little 1/4 ounce baits like it’s nothing and is tough enough to frog with. Just gotta switch poles of course.
Chug bug is the best top water. I've won tournaments with it, caught fish behind and beside other fisherman for a long time. Storm lures had the magic recipe for getting a bite. I'm kinda upset with rapala for ruining or eliminating many of the great lineup.
I don’t know how I’ve missed this bait, but I know how to solve the problem now😜👏👏👏🍀🎣🍀 Just proves, you can teach an old dawg new tricks Hank😂😂 my clubs are not fishing til September so I’ve got time to get these baits and match them up with one of my rods😜 I am finally going strong with my new hip and walking has been the key 👍 now, let’s break 80K👏👏👏🍀🎣🍀
If I'm fishing grass I want a pretty heavy stick but it still has to have enough tip to cast a frog. The Dixie Custom Frog rod is great it's a 7ft 2in Heavy Xtra Fast. The tip has just enough. Now if I'm fishing with no grass than a good old 7ft 3 or 7ft6in MedHvy to Hvy Fast is perfect.
Look I love my Rico but I TOTALLY understand the cost. This does a lot of things and is more affordable. Both can be true but again the price of a Rico it's why I only own a handful.
I can leave all my other topwaters at the house sold me. I'm gettin older and it seems like for some reason my topwater tackle sack is gainin more weight then I am. Man that thing is gettin heavy as all get out. Don't you know soon as I leave it home I'll need sumthin or two sumthins thats in it. I gotta look inta a tackle sack with wheels kinda like they got for tools n such
You called it a filtered shad, so why does the picture in the link look completely different then the one in your video? Yours look more translucent green and the one on the site looks more bone n color. I mainly fish the Berkley plopper and I have 5 colors and I have not had any luck on my white bone plopper.
A patchinko is a slim mini pencil popper designed to imitate sand eels. Its both very popular and works great on saltwater bass in Europe. It's best fished fairly fast. I bet it would work great on small stripers and bluefish if they are on sandeels. But I would not be in a rush to try it on Large mouth.
I think i love top water more than you Hank. I get laughed at and ridiculed all the time for using it. I will definitely be looking into getting one of these they look awesome brother 🎣🔥 #100percentwatchsquad
Would be nice, but I think not. Nothing is ever guaranteed with fishing. Litte FYI for ya, color is irrelevant on top water lures. Everything looks black from underneath when looking up.
Let me tell you that this topwater lure is not what you say it is. You’re just trying to sell the lure which is understandable but I threw this lure around fish and they never even swatted at it. First cast, the line got caught up in the split ring and I had to retie on FIRST cast. You can’t cast it in the wind because the line will get caught up in the first hook. 3 casts into the wind and every time it wrapped on the first treble hook. Hands down, you sold the lure pretty good which only tells me you’re good at making someone believe you but try and give ALL the information about the lure. I will NEVER buy this lure again and if I lose it then good. I’m gonna do a review on this lure as well and believe me, it’s not going to be good. Hope you made a lot of money off your lies.
Ok man you do you. This lure is heavy so having problems casting in the wind I totally don't understand. I mean it would have to be 25mph. You literally see me cast this lure in this video and walk it. I don't know what your setup is or your technique but maybe look at that first. I mean I'm sure it's not YOU....
@@BassGeek I got 29 years of fishing experience. The lure does not cast for me like any other one ounce lure I have. You sold me on a lure that was supposed to top all be all and I know when you say hit the link in the description it gives a piece of the pie but I’m not about money and I never will use my TH-cam to try and gain in life from it via money or donations which is why you’ll never see a link in the description for money. Anyways, I cast this lure so many times and over half the times the line wrapped around the hook or got stuck in the hook ring causing me nothing but problems. Sure, it walks but I would rather use a yo-zuri walking lure. There are so many other better lures out there for topwater. A review is coming but I’m not gonna mention you in it. I’ll even leave this as the last post about it to you. You can delete all my messages idc really but when I throw a lure an it fails miserably, I wanna hold my innocence accountable for trusting and being so gullible. Let’s put it this way, everyone has a confidence lure and obviously this is yours, explain that to the people instead of marketing a product. Simple.
Fish do see color and more of it the shallower the bass are. Most of the time people who make comments about peoples honesty are the people who have problems being honest. Ya know like cheaters accusing people of cheating and because they are cheating.
I love top water fishing. My all time favorite way to bass fish. Definitely gonna try one out. Thanks
Mine Too!
Awe man you’re giving out my secret fav topwater. Been slamming em with the papa walka for a couple years now. It’s so versatile. And it works
Hahahah sorry and thank you for watching.

They make some good stuff.
A fantastic looking bait! I love it! Appreciate you sharing this Hank! #100percentwatchsquad!
Thank you for watching David.
Gonna be getting some of those. Thanks for posting
Thanks
Thanks! Really like the profile for a mullet run topwater.. going to give it a try.
Heck yeah I hope it catches a bunch.
Thunderhawk makes some phenomenal lures. If you haven’t, I’d say to get their cha cha glide and the A10 squarebill.
Yes sir they do. Oh I do.
Quick glance it looks like Filter Shad, but it’s actually the Flitter Shad. Love the versatility of this lure, but I can never leave my buzz baits at home. 🎣
I love it.
Looks great but the original jitterbug & pop-r which isn''t fished much at all these days still land the lunkers for me!
Hey I love both but always room for something new.
They absolutely do!
I had a black jitterbug that was the size of your hand Lost it never seen one that big and I worked it at night here in Texas 104 Aug 10-5 in the morning. Bam. Top noisy or lots of wake
@kencleg7721 THAT was a "musky jitterbug!" I caught 1 bass on that! Might have been 8 OUNCES ! But black was always my favorite color.

Where can you buy them at
There is a link in the description
Had a couple of them. Did have a problem with the screws in the tails falling out. Need to put a dab of superglue on them.
That will do it. I haven't had that issue yet. Good info sir. thanks for sharing.
how durable is that tail? I'm always suspicious of hard baits with replaceable parts
I haven't had to change it yet and I've been fishing it all summer.
Very durable! Used one all season! I take a slight dab of blue loctite to ensure the screws don’t come loose! WyattG20 will get you 20% off!
Ordering now as we speak
You'll love it.
you had me at topwater!
Hahahahaha
I might have to look into this lure. But, I can hear my blue/silver chug bug sayin', "Bring it on! I like a challenge."🤔
It’s a great one!

Great looking bait. I need to get some of those, because there isn’t anything much better than the top water bite. #100percentwatchsquad
Nothing better.

@@BassGeek so cool that one lure gives you so many options.
Just the other day you said the lobina Rico was the shiz but at $21 a pop for the Rico this bait is more affordable for most of us
