UPDATE: The new LED headlight kept giving off the headlight error message no matter what i tried so i ended up selling it and kept the old led style one in instead with no issues so far at all.
Hello. Greetings from the Philippines. I would like to ask if when did the "LAMP" warning on your dash board appeared? Was it immediately after you installed the AUDEXEN LED headlight or did it take sometime for your bike to recognize the issue? Thank you....
I ordered it using the link in your description and mine came with a cable sticking out of the back and the plug. So the plug is not built in the headlight assembly. Also, it came with soft washers that have adhesive on one side instead of the hard washers. I am thinking of returning it and try to find the one where the plug is build into the headlight assembly.
@@Temptation_Offroad Not will be sure on in, while halogen light color spectre is more wided then LED, and on some night condition (rain, light fog, other headlights) its very important.
I have the older LED style and the is no comparison to the OEM headlights. I'm happy with mine, but the new version look like it's a little better that the older one. My OEM headlight started to go through H7 bulbs pretty quick, now I don't have to worry about it anymore.
I like the older LED one better. It doesnt give off any headlight error messages and lights up just the same. Still working good. I sold the new LED one.
На мой взгляд, светодиодная фара старой модели работает так же хорошо, если не лучше, чем новая модель. Новая модель выглядит красиво, но постоянно выдает сообщение об ошибке фар.
Very interesting, thanks! I see that the Audexen is DOT compliant and has E-mark for EU. That's very good to know. However, the fault light concerns me a bit, so please keep us posted on how that goes.
Yeah will do, the fault light sounds like an issue with most 2nd gen LED headlights due to the led drawing such low power the bike thinks a bulb is burnt out and thus trips the error code. I've read that they make a decoder to fix the issue or you can just run it that way with no issues from what others have said.
@@Temptation_Offroad I think you're right about the power draw. The ECU checks some things, perhaps resistance and then amperage when it's on. An in line resistor might be OK, but it's still a bit of a hack. No idea what a decoder would be. The GS-911, as far as I've seen, has no capability to alter anything about the headlight. Thanks again!
@@JockeSelin hi Jocke, after countless hours of watching you doing things(and of course washing them) I am delighted to see you in the comments. I thought you abandoned the GS in lieu of your new camper(it is wild, thanks for posting those videos too).

@@johndoe-pm7up Nope, after I bought it I've been working away from home all summer with no time to ride it. Hopefully, this coming summer I will have more time. Still love the bike though.

I think the "old style" or whatever looks better anyway
I agree, i might get it
Thank you for review, we will provide the decoder if the error code happen, and with no cost.
Contact me on Facebook Messenger "Temptation2003" i could use one and will post a review on how it works.
did you solve the error code issue?

Nice comparison!
Great review! thanks. will be great if can compare with OEM headlight on fixed expositions.
Either one of these is much better than the stock halogen headlight.

Curious how you're switching between running lights and low beam. I'm not seeing that option on my 2013 F800GS

"Old style' is like OEM LED light on 1200 GS. "New style" is too much "China design"😁
Yeah, i swapped back to the Old style LED headlight. Still works great and no error light on the dash either.
