Interesting video. For me the plastic agricultural manual tube works fine on the inside of the panniers support. On the hole under the passenger seat I have the BMW original alarm system. So no place for manual or extra tools. Alternatively I have an Touratech toolbox dawn on the aluminum skid plate, bringing the weight low! Works well. Ride safety. Regards from Germany.
@@GoRUFFLY As it is in front of the skid plate just behind the front wheel I never hit it. But it receives small rocks/dirt from the front wheel that marks the aluminum but not causes real damage. Regards.
I have 8mm-13mm, 17mm, 19mm, and 20mm because I bring them for the F700 and G650. The 10, 11, and 13mm get the most use. I also have ratchet heads in those sizes as well but they aren't essential.
The bmw alarm just drains the battery. I fitted a e bay alarm in the ACCESS panel underneath where you get access to the number plate lamp. Actually a fair bit of room in there.
great vid - thx! the more you crash the less you will
Very well said. Mistakes make you a better rider

The toolbox on the skid plate is clever because like you say the weight is so low. So you ever knock it on rocks or branches when off-road?

Sounds like a good setup. Thanks

Hi
Great vid and setup , where can I get the tool tube from ?
Am in Aus
Cheers Mick
It's made by these guys, in the UK, I think. motoarbo.com/motoarbo_tool_tubes.html
The space in the ‘cubby hole’ at the rear underside of the seat .., is for the bmw ALARM .
Good to know. I think it works much better for the mini-compressor!

I love ingenuity like this. You'd survive prison pretty well.
Best. Compliment. Ever.
