Both engines almost exactly the same internally except gen two runs much higher fuel pressure as you said. Time will tell if the gen 2 hpfp will be as reliable as the lower pressure in the gen 1
The f30 is a future classic but the g20 is new I’m sure there is more things to come for it. Either way b58 for the win!
Good content bro, I can relate as I witnessed the rise in popularity of the F30 platform in the past couple years. Out in Cali it’s replacing the G35/370z in regards to mod taste/style = more attention from 12. Theres a lot of potential in the F30 platform, but the G20 is more classy.The F22 m240’s are slept on as well. I got a Tesla MYP now and it’s a different world, I just miss that buttery exhaust sound and spool up.
Only think I would of made sure the F30 had was the track handling package so they can delete the fogs lights
My 440 has track handling and still has fog lights…
The G20 BMW is new wait a few years for the aftermarket mods and cosmetics to catchup, the G20 is still definitely worth it. And there are M-Performance parts splitters and side skirts from BMW as well, if you like the OEM stock look, but good job in comparison!

I understand your argument about the sensatec but I’ve been in some with full merino leather which feels amazing. I think if yours had real leather it would be a lot better in terms of quality
I kinda laughed when you said 1000hp. Yeah, I'm sure it's possible, but what's the engine life at that power? The B58 engine is a one and done engine. I think realistically these engines can live pretty long at 600 - 700hp which is plenty fast.

F30 has better grill and tail pipes and comes in a manual. That’s pretty compelling IMO but I agree with you otherwise
