i played most of it as a kid, but never did beat it until i was an adult. i love it and the sequel twine game made by the same developers for the ps1. i think my bond fandom blinds me to the jank lol.
It blinds us all. I have not beaten TWINE yet. I've played the first couple stages several times but I need to buckle down and play it all the way through.
Okay this is my favourite review/essay of this game on youtube. You're really awesome at this. How the fuck you aren't bigger (in terms of sub count) is beyond me. Subbed. Btw. This was the first game that i ever finished myself. My thoughts on it are pretty much same as yours, and i enjoyed it in very simmilar way. It's no Goldeneye (although psx had Medal of Honor games which were better in my opinion), but i really like some of the set pieces. Although i wouldn't count on much better game considering the developer, it's a shame that they had to change the idea for the game. And this game perfectly represents your average psx quality - this console had some of my favourite games (hell GT2 is my favourite game to this day, and MoH Underground is my favourite ww2 fps, and THPS 2 is as perfect as it ever was, Syphon Filter is amazing tps with unique gameplay and so on) BUT the average was rather weak. It's kind of common fearture of early consoles, first one breaks new grounds but struggles to work out basics, and next gen perfects them and is way more comfortable. NES got almost all it's really good games on it's deathbed, most are barely playable even if there are some gems, but SNES is filled to the brim with great games that held up well. PSX is primitive but PS2 library seems like never ending lineup of games worth checking out, and a whole lot of absolute masterpieces (by far my favourite console). That trend tones down a bit with 360/ps3 onward though, but there were still improvements like vast difference in open world games quality between 7th and 8th gen (not to mention 6th). Again thank you for awesome content man, i hope you'll get another boost of creativity and upload some more.
brosnan is my childhood james bond. i can't believe that they didn't get any of the cast to reprise their roles literally nobody return to do the game even brosnan. Adam Blackwood's brosnan impression is good but nothing beats having the real thing. glad he eventually reprised his role for 007: everything or nothing, too them long enough.
Haha, dude these reviews are just getting better and better! This may be my favorite, so far. I've been laughing half of the day.. and congrats on the growing surge of subs; well deserved!
Thank you, I'm glad. I was worried a vanilla game would lead to a vanilla review. I take your opinion as high praise so let me know if there is anything you wan me to cover.
That area at around 11:31 REALLY looks like something I would try to smoke off, secure and call the "B-Site" in CS:GO. "de_bond", if you may. Great video, can't wait for the next one!
WOW that voice acting, my mouth dropped open at out just WRONG that was with Satoshi. Sad they didn't get to the do the sequel since Tomorrow Never Dies is my favorite Bond movie.
iv seen many Bond Films but this is one i never watched for whatever reason and i never played the game but i do remember hearing people comparing it to goldeneye on N64 when its not even the same style of gameplay. i think it looks decent just has some flaws here and there good job covering it
The Bond movies pop up on one of the streaming sevices every August. I think it was Prime this year. Good news is this game doesnt spoil much because it wound up different for various reasons. Thanks for stopping by again, always good to hear from you.
This game is awesome in it's own right. Though not the best but it certainly is fun to play. My gripe about this game so far (because I'm playing it for the first time) is how the camera movement is kind of jank and the movement especially when you turn around is slow af.
Geez, I am so sorry it's taken me so long to watch this video! It is fantastic, and reminds me that I have never played all the way through TND, and really should. Even though that *ahem* "Japanese" accent is appalling. This was a fantastic video, and I regret not watching it sooner! Also, watching this, ummm... 'encouraged' me to go get a 20-piece McNuggets order, so there's that, as well.
The Judi Dench impression earned you a follow. By far one of the funniest bits I've heard on TH-cam in a long, long time!
far too much pumping

Very nice video, well done. And man, that art direction is pretty great in that game. Especially in those sunset lit outdoor levels.

The couch of sweat does it again! Love the video!!
Thank you. Welcome back back!

The final game does the movie dirty with all its changes and shortcomings.

best memory of this was it being the most 6/10 game ever made

This game a classic

Does anyone else eat the breading off the mcnugget before dipping it ketchup? Just me?
@@SweatyCowch The breading part, sometimes; ketchup, not so much. I am a sucker for Bulls-Eye or McDonald's sweet and sour sauce. 😃
I just realized this is the same cluncky horrible game that star wars episode 1 was just reskinned
