Omg, yes!!! My sub printer cut off my images on the DTF film over and over. And what was even stranger was the printer sounded like it was printing the entire image! I still don’t understand what happened… 🤷♀️ I guess I’m relieved to know it wasn’t just me…?

Thanks for your video, I look forward to trying this method sometime. May I suggest a shaker container for the powder such as one found at a pizza establishment for extra parmesan cheese or red pepper.

The streaks look for them before putting on your shirt. Use a tool of your choice to scratch it off the film then press. Hope this helps.

I know this video is old but I had to comment, LOL. You had the right pic for this video, the one with the hammer. I just went through this crazyness. Let me tell you I finally had to slow down, I reflected on everything and at the same time I viewed some videos. Lord and behold I was able to do a few actions and it finally Worked. I have to say I didn't want to waste my clear DTF sheets so what I did , I cleaned it with paper towel and reused it until I can see Victory! because I was Oh, No it's not wasting my sheets. Anyhow it works and I saved my other sheets. Hopefully this works for others, also this usually happens when the internet goes down that's what I noticed so internet might need to be recollaborated or reset.

I gave up lol been few mths since I've messed with my heat press and printer. I've looked at so many video's & i guess I need a dummy proof one lol smh 🤦
My problem is that I can't get my prints bright enough they end up being even more faded when printed on shirt. Mind you this is my 1st time ever doing something like this. I have a Mac book pro & converted a Epson ET -2803 printer. HELP PLEASE 🙏 🙏 🙏
Please don't give up. You are going to get it right and eventually be able to help someone else who wants to give up. When your image is printed with this process, it is supposed to be dull until it sits on the heat press for a minute or two. Are you in my Facebook group? They are kind and helpful. If you ask a question, someone will try to help you.
It looks great. But I have a question, why don't you print when you downloaded from Canva? Why do you print from Doc ?
Because I don’t know how to get the sizing right. Also, you really can’t print from Canva. You have to download and print from a program.
I have the Espon Eco Tank 4760 will this printer work also. I have converted it over to sublimation.

Can this be done on a black shirt?
Have had no luck 9n dark shirts. Seams to be like sublimation printing, only on light colors, and thoughts. I still use ppd dark heat transfer paper for darks.
I love the PPD but I also love Siser EasyColor DTV. This process is not intended for dark fabric.
I’m sorry if I missed it in the video but why couldn’t you print directly from Canva instead of going to Microsoft Word?
It's a matter of personal preference.
Hi I have a question. How did you get the white ink to print being sublimation. Sublimation printers dont print white ink.
This image doesn't have any white ink. In the original photo, my daughter is wearing white shoes but in this photo it looks like her feet aren't in the picture.
I am doing something wrong. when I print my photo out it is wet but it is not smooth like when it goes on the shirt it looks like melting sugar...so not clear. I use Dtf film, cosmo ink, and epson 7720
Are you sure you're printing on the correct side of the film?

Girl, I know this video is older but like I said I'm still trying to view many of your videos but they are all helpful in many ways. When I seen this one video, You sure hit it on the nail, it can become fustrating and believe me, I have gone down that same path as well. Always cutting off, lol and cricut sizes are not even close to the sizes we need but we try to make it work one way or another.

You would need to use a true DTF printer.
Ok so, I’m having the issues you had on the white shirt. It seems to come out spotty. Is that do to not having enough pressure?

Is DTF better than clear htv vinyl for photos?
That's actually a great question! I haven't tried using clear HTV with a photo.

Pray your having a marvelous day, I was viewing some of your videos with the powder and DTF and for some reason I can't come across Siser DTF that you used on one of the videos that I can see. Also the reason I ask is because I am really interested in the powder and DTF film. I seen some on Amazon but does it matter what powder is used with the DTF sheets? I guess what I am trying to ask is do we have to use the same DTF company with the same DTF company or can it be mixed? hope I didn't confuse you. Also any DTF preferences? Hope I didn't ask too much lol.

Thanks! In my opinion, it is better to order DTF transfers instead of trying to figure out this process for yourself. Check out Atlanta Vinyl, they have a ton of high quality DTF prints.

How do you prevent your powder from sticking all over your sheet? My powder sticks all over... not just in the ink☹️
Are you sure you're printing on the right side?
@Crafting with Delonda will I placed the paper in just like it came out of the package. I painstakingly cleaned it all out and it did print ok... but it just took forever to clean up
So do you suggest a poly blend vs a 100% cotton?
That's personal preference.

I totally understand what you’re saying. I remember asking questions and not really knowing how to explain what I was asking. So, sublimation is really intended to be used on polyester. The purpose of this hack is to use sublimation ink on cotton. Have you joined my Facebook group? It was created for Cricut Beginners.

My wife has started her tee shirt business. We are season ticket holders of the Las Vegas Aces. she has been making tee shirt with the DTF but wants to start sublimation. Having problems finding a person who can create Las Vegas Aces sublimation with player images...do you know of a graphic artist who can create these sublimation images with pictures of players?

Hi I love your videos. I have a question.. I have an Epson wf7720 I printed an image a few days ago and it came out perfect.. today all of my images have either a black streak straight down the middle or several.. they don’t look like roller marks .. but streaks. Like too much ink. I’ve reduced the saturation and same result. Do you know anything that can help?
Try reducing the density to -10 the way that I demonstrated.

I love this! However, it won’t work of large size shirts, because the DTF only comes in 8 1/2 x 11, right?
I think other companies sell larger film. I haven’t tried it.
Hello Delonda, how do you get the white when on this DTF method using regular 4 color sublimation printer? I have a Sawgrass.
There isn’t any white in my image. One of my daughters is wearing white shoes in the original image but they don’t show up here.

I have tried so many different films and i am ready to throw my printer out the window...lol I have the same printer you have and for the life of me I don't understand how you can print and I can't. Thank you! Yes, using Word is a personal preference because I just know how to use it so well. I have compared prints in Word and in Inkscape and I can see that the print is definitely more vibrant in Inkscape; but I don't feel like I understand it enough.

Yes, mirror. Make sure your ink is still wet while you apply the powder.

Great video and wonderful shirt! But how did you do white lettering when sublimation doesn't print white?
It's really just showing the color of the background. One of my daughters is wearing white shoes but they didn't show up.
Came out pretty good.. considering you went through multiple sheets.. I think I need to try a different powder.. I see most getting good results with Yalmation

When do you upscale your image to 300dpi?
I guess I would do it, if I thought it was necessary.

i have a 2720 can I use the same settings and do you use that for the dtf only or for all sublimation?
I would not use these settings just for regular sublimation. I only use these settings for sublimation/DTF transfer film.

I love the shirts! I would say the white cotton shirt line down the middle looks like a double center crease line. Overall, I love them!

i have a epson sc-f570 do i need to change my setting or can I just leave it the same when I feed the film threw the single sheet tray
Try it without changing the settings to see if your paper will feed through. If it goes through and there are streaks, try decreasing the density.
