For those of you with synths that swing by percentage, 57% swing for 16th notes sequencing roughly also equates to 41 points into the 240 points on every other note. Helps you make synths with the swing and also draw in midi with percussion to line up. 57% is a really nice swing amount.

Thanks for showing us this UDU trick, love it.
My two recommendations for today are “Markantonio & Atroxx - 1965” and “Icarus - No Sleep”. Really dig the percussion in these tracks.

UDU trick is super cool. Basically another tool to filter out sounds using a reductive method. More surgical than envelope filter or ducking though! Nice one.

I would love to see a video on how you use lfo tool and how to use it as a utility.

Hey Oscar. Hope you are well. A small request . Is it possible to have a video where you make a project like Amotik ?? The style of techno is very minimal and hypnotic.

I think Ableton grooves are really cool
But learning to program your own velocity and swing, gives you individuality
    to your tracks
    Excellent video, Oscar ❤
Groove is in the heart ❤

About the UDU trick you shown, if something goes after the second utility, will the automations you drawn affect it as well?
This UDU thing seems to work just like a return track in which you create some automations at the send, and then put a beat repeat on gate mode after the delay.

Question: Is there any chance of getting a copyright lawsuit for a millisecond-long drum sound? Say I downloaded a kick drum sound from an open source and used it in my song and released the song, uploaded it everywhere you can think of. Or let's say the source I downloaded the sound from said the samples were completely free, but two or three years later he bought the rights to use them and I or many other producers have those kick sounds in their songs. What's gonna happen? What should we do to prevent this? Should all the sounds we use be original and our own from the very beginning of our career, the moment we set up all the studio and DAWs? I'd really apreciate if you answer 'cause this issue is quite important for everyone especially for the beginners who don't wanna get fcked in the middile of the way.

I think a kick transient in full song is hard to sue someone over. There are instances where someone just copied a melody and got sued, then the judge just says is sounds different enough so its allowed.. if you process your sounds they will be different sounds 🍻

A friend of mine stole the transient from the snare of a well known Adele song. He lives in Guantanamo Bay now.

Would setting up a send with whatever delay or echo craziness to taste, then pop in a send slice or ramp for specific areas in the track might yield similar, then only the send automation to snip in at the areas
