    Armand has done it again! THANK YOU‼️
    I honestly haven’t been searching & applying out of sheer laziness due to my current remote job. But thanks to Armand, I just found a remote job vacancy for a GS15 that I am PERFECT for. So I’m dedicating this weekend to enhancing my resume based on the position and applying for the job. 😬🤞🏽

    Keep in mind that many of these positions require a percentage of travel and require degrees.

    Thanks, this information is very helpful! I looked at the resume template and didn't see one for strictly administration. I'm trying to work for the VA.

      The 0300 job series template is for administration, the examples focus more on analyzing and evaluating information, but 0343 is still heavy in admin.

    Thank you so much for what you’ve doing for the community and I have a question I would like to get a federal job but my resume is very weak I am willing to start at the bottom and work my way up I just want to get my foot in the door, I have been working with the state for about two years at the DMV office what’s the best positions you think I can apply for. I would like to talk with you one one but I saw the price , if you can reach out to me that will be very nice . Thank you so much

    I really appreciate your videos. I am still confused were to align my skills. Corrections, security, EMS, firefighting, and mechanics. I am new to federal jobs and I feel its all over the place trying to dial in where to focus. How do find the right job area for me? USAjobs can be very confusing.

    If you are already a GS-10 step 3 and take another job as a GS-10, do you retain the step 3, or do they start you at step 1 at each new agency?

    • @mylegacytransformed
      @mylegacytransformed 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      They’re supposed to retain your step yet do not have to-& it is something you should negotiate-best to negotiate AFTER the interview-once the final job offer is offered to you AND certainly BEFORE you accept the final job offer.
      Additionally, you can negotiate for 2 steps above your current step for the NEW job IF your KSAs are above standard.
      Most don’t negotiate & some don’t know negotiation is even possible. Others just play it safe & wont negotiate at all.
      Listen intently during the interview, asking “feeler” or “know-er”questions so you’ll know IF they feel/know you have “unique” skills or are among VERY few that can do what you do. If an organization feels/knows they can’t or shouldn’t move forward without you, then you’re more likely to gain the negotiation amount you desire.

    When searching jobs, not sure which departments I could do with my education. I have a bachelor's in physical education, masters in school counseling, and a certification in school administration. Outside of department of education, can you tell me what would be worthwhile looking into? Also, with my education/teaching experience, what salary levels could I be realistic about? Remote work and $100k is ideal because that's what I make teaching. Appreciate your videos and time.

    • @armandcuret1
      @armandcuret1  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I don't believe you should be looking at a specific department. You could probably work for any federal agency in some capacity. You should start by thinking about what "job series" you are eligible for. The job series 1700 is for education, but there are other job series you could probably qualify for.

    • @armandcuret1

    what is the procedure when is open for public but requires a Certification like COR or COR II or any other just come across with this, is something can we get elsewere because is not mentioned in the announcement but is a requirment and asked in the applications.

    • @armandcuret1
      @armandcuret1  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      If having a certification such as COR or COR II is in the "Required Documents" section and you do not have it. I would not apply to the job announcement even if it is "Open to the Public". It's rare to have COR without being a government employee, but if a person has served in the military they could have earned that certification.
