Your pizza looked delicious! Great canoe trip with perfect weather. I’d heard about boreal forests on the radio recently, and how important they are for carbon storage - thanks for all the further information and great paddle on the lake. I always feel more relaxed out in nature! 👌 Great you could share this trip with your wife!! 🛶🛶💙💙
I'm 100% More Relaxed Now... It even helps by watching from afar.. Those shots are absolutely beautiful Daryl... Sugar maples, campfires, beautiful water... And wonderful companions... The recipe for relaxation and peace... Love it 👍👍😊✌️
Aw, man, just seeing the landscapes and putting myself there.... SO relaxing! What a great way to start my week! I miss sugar maples so much. 😞 Daryl, that was a wonderful looking trip! Thanks so much for sharing it with us! It was also really interesting to learn about something many of us probably already knew - being outdoors is the best kind of therapy! Cheers!
Hi Jeff, I didn't realize Sugar Maples were few and far between out your way. I will certainly take them less for granted now. The wilderness is truly my happy place and I'm so glad we have so much of it where we both live. I hope you're staying warm during this cold snap. Have a great week. ~ Daryl
This must be such a wonderful experience to be camping out there and then taking the kayak to explore the lake. I like how you included the bit about forest bathing. It's one of those words I had heard come up before, but never really understood what it meant.
Beautiful footage of the mist and glass-like morning water. I’ve benefitted from eco-therapy over the decades, now including your fabulous videos, Daryl. Keep them coming! RC
Thanks Robert - it sure makes me wish I could get out there again, especially during this deep-freeze. The next video features a mutual friend. Cheers.
You had all the relaxation elements - water, forest, paddling and fire. I love all those rocky islands and the cliff from Pt 1 also - beautiful area! Thanks for sharing!
I appreciate the feedback, for sure. I do love our scenery out here for sure but wish we had some of the massive trees you have out your way. Thanks agian!
🙂Thank You Daryl Wow Beautiful Drone Shots of a Beautiful Area with the Mist on the Lake👍at 1:01 You and Mrs Fly North have Front Row Seats to a little Piece of Paradise. I bet Nikki really Enjoyed that Camping Trip except maybe for the fire.🙂Thanks again Daryl for a very Beautiful Video of a Beautiful Area🙂💙👍
Thanks Robert. I really appreciate the kind words. We had a great trip and Mickey still doesn't like fires, not even a little. Oh well. I'll keep trying. I hope you're doing well out on the coast. Cheers. ~ Daryl
Stunning views and interesting history and facts you presented here Daryl. Great flying as always. Makes sense now why I can stare into a fire for hours and feel like minutes. Thanks for taking us along and being a great tour guide Brother!
Thanks! I didn't know anything about the science behind fires and the brain until I did a little research. It doesn't surprise me and like you, I can stare at a fire for hours. Thanks again. ~ Daryl
This was BEAUTIFUL. Loved the morning mist at the beginning. All your scenes look so sharp and pristine. Great camera work. Such peaceful canoeing and lovely spots to stop for a snack. Being in nature is so good for us. God's grand design. The pizza looked so good, so I went and made my own pizza right after watching this! 🍕 Campfires are so serene! 🔥 Great video, Daryl! Have a great week! -Rachel
Haha - glad the pizza inspired you, Rachel. 😀 Thank you for the feedback about the photography, it means a lot coming from you, your stuff is top notch. I hope all is well at your end. Cheers. ~ Daryl
The drone video of the mist on the lake is gorgeous! I really appreciate all the information about the Boreal forest, rocks, and trees. If I am ever stressed, I find being out in nature helps a lot. I had never heard that about a fire though - so interesting. Thanks for another excellent video
Those foggy timelapses were amazing! 🌟The drone shots looked very dynamic as well. Seeing this made me miss the warmer fall weather with the cold spell we’ve got right now 🥶
Thanks - I really appreciate the feedback. Yeah, this cold weather isn't much fun at all. Next week looks a little more gentle. I hope all is well at your end, and thanks again.
I like the Timelapse in the beginning. It looks like a great time in nature. That looked neat how you were both paddling and filming from the drone. I feel more relaxed. 😁👍30
What a beautiful day to explore around the lake! I imagine it may have felt like Philip Edward if you had instead camped on that flat rock that served as your lunch spot. You folks certainly don't rough it with your backwoods meals either!
Thanks Warren. That flat rock spot was discussed as a camping option but we decided to stay closer to the parking spot for this trip. We'll be back though - it's a perfect lake.
Always relaxing to watch a paddling video in winter Daryl! Except for the restless wanderlust that it inspires… I think that Mick might have been the star of this video with his “look into the camera” cameo… athough Mrs. FN come in a close second with that delicious looking pizza dinner. Looks like you had a beauty site on a beauty lake. The drone shots really showcase the beauty of it. Loved the calm water morning shot too… I am finally relaxed now! :p
Thanks Trevor. I appreciate your feedback, as always. I plan to get back there again next season if all goes well. I'm also planning on making a visit to Algonquin this spring - for the first time; your videos are a helpful resource! I hope to see an iCanoe video coming soon. I'm a big fan. Cheers. ~ Daryl
Really enjoyed your video Daryl...and the information you shared. It always makes it extra interesting. Beautiful spot you and Mrs Flynorth enjoyed during your stay, with a beautiful view.
Thanks Kathleen - I try to learn new things with each adventure; your dad is an inspiration. I hope you're staying warm during this cold snap. Cheers. Daryl
@@flynorthproductions very kind of you to have said that...I'll mention that to my Dad.😀 No hiking today @ -31 here! But back out on the trails later this week. Stay warm too Daryl.
Thanks Dr. Daryl. Another interesting fact....my kayak is a Borialis😊. So next year let's take my Borialis to the Borialis. Also, just seeing this reminds me that I miss you two!!!! Not coming up in a couple of weeks, but hope to come up soon.
Hi. Sorry to hear you had to change your travel plans, but there will be another occasion I'm sure. I'm on board for some kayaking adventures this year so keep me in mind! Thanks and I hope all is well at your end. Cheers!
That pizza looked delicious 😊 wildlife in the forest is also relaxing, even just having a chickadee follow you and except you and interact with you lowers blood pressure as far as I am concerned.
That's a picture perfect film 👌 we enjoyed watching it all the way through must be a great place to canoe and camp 👍 have a great week Glyn
Thanks, Glyn. I appreciate your feedback. I hope all is well at your end. Thanks for watching. Cheers. ~ Daryl

Thank you so much!
Awesome. I'm more relaxed. I am like you - getting outdoors is my therapy. Genuinely, I get cranky without time outdoors....
Thanks Dan, yeah the outdoors is my happy place. Too bad it's freezing here in northern Ontario this week but I'm surviving!

Hi. Yes I was surprised to read about that fire and amygdala connection as well, but it does make sense to me, sort of. 😁 Thanks for watching.
