  • Top 10 Leading Countries in Agriculture in Africa in 2022
The agricultural industry is one of the most important sectors of the global economy because it not only generates some of the greatest incomes globally but also meets the world's food needs. A country with a strong foundation in agriculture output can enable more stable economic development because it is one of the main industries that is rarely harmed by fluctuating demands. Thus, it can be concluded that a nation that depends on its agricultural output for revenue creation is laying the foundation for a healthy economy. The global economy is inextricably linked to agriculture, which is essential to the livelihoods of many people in developing nations. Agriculture is typically the largest contributor to GDP for most states, particularly in the African context.
The fact that so much of Africa is undeveloped demonstrates how much potential there is on the continent. Many people are aware of Africa's abundant resources and expect it to be the next big thing in terms of wealth generation across practically all industries. A huge workforce, a large amount of fertile land, and optimal conditions that might allow year-round production make Africa the ideal region to begin your agricultural investment activities to realize significant returns. In the absence of official records that classify Agricultural states in terms of their agricultural muscles, here are our Top 10 Leading African Countries in the Agricultural sector for 20 22. We have taken time to compile this list to help you understand the Agricultural potential of Africa, and for you to know where and in which product to invest. Let’s start!

Acording to a Rand report, the conflict of the US against Europe, which is effective in destroying german buisnesses and the war against russia which is not as effective was to weaken economic structures that threaten US hegimony.... I am not as studied about Ethiopia but I would suspect that the war there is being waged because of a simalar dynamic.

This was very interesting and informative. Most African countries are working not only to satisfy their needs in terms of food production, but also to produce surplus for export. However, their efforts are curtailed by the quotas imposed on them by the developed countries who form the bulk of their market. African countries should work towards selling their produce among themselves by allowing free flow of food produce with minimum taxes or tariffs.

For the last consecutive 4 years the horn of Africa has had less rain, which has been a challenge for food security in the region.
Ethiopia, Kenya and Somalia needed food assistance from the WFP.
The fact that Ethiopia has been in civil war for the last two years out of the four hasn't helped either.
Internally displaced people can't farm and need food assistance!
Meaning Ethiopia has come a long way! Now if we stopped warring with each other and got to work, you won't hear us needing food from the rest of the world in about 5-10 years of time!

My girlfriend from Kilimanjaro region is doing population statistics and the reality is that they have over 80 million people, but there's no data to show this. Very large is that country and very much agriculture is done there, Ghana simple can't outscore them in the agriculture sector.

Kenya 🇰🇪 is doing great 👍 Currently, Kenya is the biggest exporter of black tea in the world, the 4th biggest exporter of wholesale fresh flowers in the world, the biggest exporter of avocados 🥑 in Africa after surpassing South Africa 🇿🇦 , the top 10 coffee exporter in Africa and of course one of the world’s top exporter of vegetables!
Agriculture alone contributes to more than 20% of Kenya’s GDP!

But my friend stop boasting ..am fellow Kenyan and we are suffering from severe food shortage we still depend on unpredictable weather ..maize flour has doubled same as wheat now we are importing this commodities .. from mainly Tanzania which is more food secure than kenya.if you stay in affluent areas of Nairobi I understand you ..coz the prices don't affect you.

@@jasminewambui1237 Did you read my comment clearly? Nowhere did I mention wheat or maize flour! Is Kenya a top exporter of tea, coffee, flowers, vegetables and many more? YES! And that’s a very well known fact 🙂 And these raw commodities are in abundance in Kenya 🇰🇪 If you go to kiosks you find plenty of veggies, fruits and also in shops and supermarkets you find different varieties of tea like green, white and recently purple tea that’s only unique to Kenya😳
The issue of maize flour shortages is purely political and has nothing to do with Kenya’s inability to grow wheat 🌾
But I believe Kenya is still doing far much better than many countries as far as agricultural output and food security are concerned 👍
But there’s still room for improvement though!

The Data used to create this list are either Biased or there were NO enough information given to the Narrator. Since when Kenya produce more Agricutural products than Tanzania? Infact, Kenya's agricultural domestic Consumption depends heavily on Tanzania. 50% of Kenya's Maize, Millet, beans, Rice, Vegetables and fruits are imports from Tanzania and every Kenyan knows that. This is to say the crops imported from Tanzania are counted in Kenya as were produced in Kenya and that is where the Data were taken from. There is NO way Kenya with massive drought in the North can produce more crops than Tanzania which has full fertile land throughout the country and is cultivated massively. Additional to that, Tanzania is the second country in Africa with cattle and like livestock after Ethiopia. So how Kenya can be in the list of top 10 highest crops production while Tanzania is not on the list? This means most contents in this video are made up.
