The Kenya mindset in him is really encouraging. Imagine if African leaders doubled down and supported 200 young people like him, we can feed ourselves and feed the world.
Its the Zambian Mindset
Zambian + Kenyan = Botswana.😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁
That is really true. Africa has the potential to feed the world if the leaders stand up and do something about it. For now, African countries are not allowed to grow their own food courtesy of the ruling elites of this world. Sadly enough, 99.99% of our leaders go along with their wishes
This debate about the " mindset " is hilarious!!! Who has the moral claim to this young man with a triple heritage...Kenya, Zambia or Botswana?! Reminds me of a similar debate about actress Lupita Nyong' o is she Kenyan ,Mexican or American?
Yap...factual
He is not s drop out, he chose not to proceed with university. He actually in his own university, the best learning is through own experience.
...and just 25 Acres (10 Hectares) supports _6 employees + the owner._
And let's not forget loving supporting parents that comes from farming background. He will do well I'm sure.
True! He even said it himself, "when I finished school...." That means he completed his high school education.
Very very thoughtful statement
And that's the things about our education systems its not teaching us to produce its just setting us to consume...indeed he's not a drop out he's productive young man...😊
Kenyan mother, Zambian father, Botswana upbringing and sheer determination 👌
I thought he was Zambian after seeing his surname.
Technically not kenyan

We need more Africans with this mindset to lift Africa out of its current economic crisis

Yes incredible guy, he is already the GOAT 🐐
He must have lived all his life in Botswana. He's got a Botswana accent.

Thought as much. Born and bred in BW. The accent is ours proper! Wonder why he calls himself a Kenyan when his father is Zambian. I know most Africans take after their fathers NOT mothers.
Nice content though and congratulations to the young man.
@@masegom.4409 Maybe he's Kenyan by citizenship. Any way that's how he identifies himself, I respect that.

I'm so impressed with this young man, as a 61 year old South African, it gives me huge joy to see the effort and dedication. I wish him much success and hope he's an inspiration to his adopted countrymen.

@@masjm7278 Botswana is really coming up but please do some research and understand why Kenya with no minerals manages to be the biggest economy in East and Central Africa
@@masjm7278 Also do some research.... several decades ago, Botswana govt sent their livestock officers and interested farmers to Kenya to undergo intensive cattle management training in a govt to govt transfer of skills from Kenyan livestock experts to the Botswana farmers and livestock officers. And that is how Botswana acquired the skills required for cattle management. Incidentally the largest cattle farmer in Botswana is a Kenyan. Do your research. We are not competing... we are just not loud in our accolades as Kenyans / East Africans.
He embodies the Kenyan mindset quite well. A guest cannot leave without being gifted something.

Botswana is the one black African country that is truly democratic, but effectively run, zero tolerance for corruption, very peaceful and very caring towards it's citizens. No other country in black Africa can claim that.
Interesting. Why is Fmr President Khama a refugee again?

Africa the land of Milk and Honey. God blessed Africa with plenty of food, water, and other resources.
Africa is a vast and diverse continent with a rich history and culture. It is also a land of great natural beauty and abundance. Africa is home to some of the world's most fertile land, and it is a major producer of food and other agricultural products. Africa also has abundant water resources, including rivers, lakes, and aquifers. These resources have the potential to support a large and prosperous population.
Yeah it's only a matter of good and honest leadership, healthy environment and laws for entrepreneurs and social stability. I hope for the best .
The vegetable import ban by the government was a really smart move. A lot of Youth benefited from it. Nice to see someone who took full advantage❤ 🇧🇼
I like how articulate and grounded he is.
At 22 years with that right thinking mindset he’s parents did a great job in raising him kudos tayo

@aina kindly check your headings in future videos to avoid unnecessary controversy. Iam Kenyan myself and very proud of my brother from another mother but he is more Zambian than Kenyan as his dad is Zambian. The Botswana govt should accord him honorary citizenship he is heading for bigger things. Pan-Africanism at its best here.

This is very inspiring, as a young Motswana who had regrets of not taking an agricultural course in University I now have a different perspective.
Thank you so much Tayo for always shining a light on Africa 🌍.
I'm impressed with Isaac Kasondes venture. Having lived in Botswana for 13 years I know this is no easy project. It takes real guts & focus and he has it all. With proper support Isaac is capable with feeding the population with real standard produce. God bless you abundantly!
School is not for everyone, as long you know how to read and write that should be enough. Standard education prepares you to be slave where in the other hand self-education makes you rich. Clearly this young man has patient and hanger to be rich.
Hallo Ms. Rose. Hope, you are well since you left Botswana.Rachel Muraya son has found his passion. Hopefully, he will end up like Mr. Kathurima.
huh what are you impressed about? Subsistence farming and make a bit of money is 20HA up, he got nothing there to make him real money, that man is strugling despite his hard work. If some more money do not pour from his parents scaling will be just a dream.
Fascinating mindset. Apples don't fall far, aye!
And his English skills are top-notch. You should ask him how he spends his free time
As a Zambian whose vision is similar to yours, this video makes me happy coz i know theres more like us who plan to end importing food from developed countries. Keep up the good work man !!!!
Thank you to be one of the guys that will help africans to stay away from western aids. I hope you and the guy on this video will success!!
😂😂😂 a simple Google search if farmable land in your country and your country population Saya it won't ever happen unless about half die off. You'll always need imported food. Nice try. Posting for clout doesn't change facts😂😂
Wooow. Just wooow. I have no words literally. His dedication and commitment kept him afloat but his hunger and vision will steer him to victory. 👏🏾
what i love about your videos is that you take all of us on a journey with you. Your channel is all about positivity.
I think many people are looking at africa with intrest, we want to know what's happening there. There are some other channels that started out like yours, showcasing africa, Highlighting good things happening in the continent. But the main channel i followed turned mostly into anti western propaganda, where instead of highlighting africa it seems like the focus of the channel shifted to portraying any non-african entity as evil. Many people here are not evil. We look at the future positively, I think most people , anywhere in the world become happy when they see entrepreneurs in africa make it.
We all saw the speed at which certain Asian countries caught up to the west. We live in a time where humans can interact with each other so much more easily. When korea, japan, etc suddenly started sharing their culture people loved it. Modern manga/anime was inspired by western comics. Japan created it's own take on it. And now it's loved all around the world, sparking countries like china, korea, vietnam or even some western countries to create their own anime. Korean movies and series are blowing up in popularity. Not to mention good food you get exposed to nowadays thanks to cultural exchange. People build and improve on the ideas of others. I personally can't wait for the future. Africa has so many people. There's so much potential for people sharing their world, and their story. I think you're one of the early adapters, you're doing great work. Africa has many unique things to offer to the world, and you're showing some of those!
This is such a heartfelt comment. Thank you so much for sharing your perspective. I believe Africa has a big part to play in Global econimics and im Glad the world is waking up to this.
This is all white cry babble talk. If the "west," didn't have such a disingenuous and 3vil history with the continent there wouldn't be no need to showcase their dirty laundry, it's very imperative that we showcase every chance we get what the west has done and (continues) to do. Please cry us a river elsewhere.
Growing your own food is like printing your own money🥰🥰🥰🥰

Truth be told, that's NOT one of Botswana's largest farms.
The young man is on the right path though, I hope young Africans follow suit.
Exactly. Not at all. Incorrect info. But I am proud of the young man 🙌🏽
It's click bait
It's more of young farmer with a bright future.
That's a normal farm by Botswana standards i expected something of Mosisedi or Pandamatenge size
I have admired the work of that young man. African should support and encourage many young people rather than putting them down. There is no one who is a drop out , drop out in what. The creator created intelligent and wisdom and knowledge in human beings . The young guy has a vision of his future and he knows where the world is going. Keep up you are on the right track.

I was in Botswana last month, very lovely people, hot weather , and yes watch out for those cows on the motorways especially at nights

This man really sounds like he knows what he is doing, and has what it takes to expand and really do well for himself. Unfortunately the title is rather misleading as his operation is very small, even for Botswana. I wish him all the best.
WRONG TITLE PLEASE. He is not a drop out, he decided he did not want to go to university or college. The is in a farming university rught now. Learning hands on. At 22 year's , i admire his work ethics, ambitions, talking of 15 to 20 year plan in farming, means he has a vision for the long grind. Give him credit. After listening to the young man i am dissapointed by your title. Congratulation Isaac, you are doing great. In another 5 years will read about the successful young man in farming. Blessings
Funny how society see him as dropout.
He just had his own skill and not just in to the stereotype and the rest is history for his success.
