I like the demo playing while you're describing the product, personally. Love your makeup recs, you inspired me to try and replicate your eye look in this vid 💕
As someone who also has blonde ghost eyebrows I cannot recommend tinting them enough, it changed my whole makeup life lol. I’ve gotten them done at benefit brow bars in the past but I use just for men and do it myself now and it’s such a game changer. I used to spend 10-15 minutes drawing them on but now it’s 2-5 minutes with a brow marker and boom they’re done
I love this format with the interspersed demos. I want so badly to be ride or die, man! But I do find myself not always watching your demos when they are at the end. 😬
I really enjoyed this style of video where you describe it and then show you applying or using it! Because the video changes for some reason it seems more interesting. Thank you for a great video!!
Love the highlighter application tips. I adore highlighter but I've got 42 year old (lives at the beach) skin, and the "normal" placement really showcases my smile crinkles. So I've been experimenting, and will definitely try out this type of brush
I really enjoyed having the demos of you using the product while you're talking about the product! It's a great way to see the makeup in action and not just fun colors in a pan!
I love your take on makeup application. I know you’re just showing how you like to do your makeup but its really lining up with how I like to wear mine these days. I really appreciate seeing little demos on these soft, beautiful, shimmering techniques. Love your take on blush and highlighter. Gotta get a bigger highlighter brush. Honestly I’ve been skipping highlighter all together because I didn’t love how it looked anymore
I’m just gonna keep recommending the elf bite size brow palette!!! It’s like $3 and I’m dying for u to try it bc mixing the wax and the powder has saved me so much time 👏🏼👏🏼
The Rodial Dragons Blood line is everything!!! I got like 3 while they were on sale bc I go thru them and my eyes love it!!! Yes a full pump is too much & makes it run out fast!🥺 I can even layer a cream on top when needed!🙏🏼🖤✨
i loveeee your top, earrings and makeup… it’s definitely a vibe!!! i got my boxycharm order today with my rowan 11:11 quad and charlie balm, and that quad is even more beautiful in person than i imagined in my dreams. i’ve wanted it since it released but could never afford it and i’m soooo glad to finally have it in my life. omg, i wish i could have purchased clionadh’s collection!!! there are a few products from half magic that are on my wishlist. i loveeee milani’s blushes!!! i’m happy you’re thoroughly enjoying your makeup and your life. it makes me happy. 💜💜💜
Lauren I AM not going to lie your a fun tuber channel to watch. But, you do come from your own personal place. I love a shimmer so you are in rotation.
lauren ur videos never cease 2 bring me joy haha. i love watching each and every video knowing that ur energy will cheer me up- i love these kinds of videos and i especially love ur pallet recreations... it definitely helped me realize that i have a lot to work with and i dont need something that i might already have ! anyways, thanks 4 ur consistency and effort
I'm going thru the same phase seems like I been putting on makeup daily! And I never have done all shimmer looks before and now I going for it like never before! How cool it is to hear that it's becoming a trend!
I really want a roen pallette...but none of the colour stories speak to me. Can I articulate what I want? No lol. Taupey neutral champagne? Neutral greeny bronze? No orange, no pink...
I recently purchased the 11:11 palette in the Boxycharm sale and I absolutely love it! I love that you can just use your fingers to apply to shadow. I’d love to try their other palettes, but would only buy them if they’re on sale. 😫In the meantime, I’ll enjoy the one I have.
Hun I’m a natural redhead I have white blonde eyebrows so to save time and sanity I dye my brows myself I then can use a brow pencil to touch up makes my life easier
Lauren! I know you want brow waxes in a pot but the thick it stick it brow gel/wax from nyx is really good, has a good tint, and has the effects of a brow wax with hold and shape. I know you didn’t like the colourpop one but I realllllly think you should try this one!
I like the new Nyx browgel in a tube (thick it stick it) in the shade cool blonde, finally a blonde that isn't warm! It feels a bit like glue, but it's the best shade match ever for me 🌷
I know that going through brow products can be expensive but the ELF wow brow is good and $4. The Essence is about the same price (or less) and is also good. I have the Patrick Ta brow wax and it’s good, but I don’t find myself reaching for it very often-it takes longer to do than a tinted gel.
Honestly wanted to say thank you again for talking about your hospital experience and gallbladder issue. It's really made me think about my own issue (I have Mirizzi syndrome) and feel less alone. Usually I get overwhelmed by life instead of my makeup collection, and I find that using makeup is so fun and healing, especially using fun eye makeup. I've also been reflecting on my makeup collection a lot and thinking about what I do or don't use and why and will be depotting some of my eyeshadow palettes and face palettes to get more use out of them
Aw! You are so sweet! Love the pop of color in the inner corner! I learn so much from you even when it's not a tutorial. The appreciation I feel for you is immense. THANK YOU for the help!
Best of luck with the brow dyeing-- I did the opposite and bleached mine but it only looked good for about two weeks before my natural brows were growing in. So I hope your experience turns out better than mine did and lasts longer!
I am ginger so blonde eyebrows is my reality as well and I dye mine with hair color and it makes my life so much easier. However, keep in mind eyebrow hair is resistant so go at least 2 levels darker than what you want. I actually use a level 4 even though my hair is an 8 and the level 4 comes out between a 6 and 7 and then gradually fades. It's great though, would highly reccomend.
I’m really interested in trying the Milani blush again. I had luminoso maybe around ten years ago and yeah, I remember being a little underwhelmed but my tastes have changed and I think I’m going to like it this time around.
My roen shadows do not crease at all. I have hooded incredibly oily eyelids. I use LHCosmestics matte face prime on the whole lid first, then the blotting powder, then the crease proof eyeshadow primer. This may seem like overkill, but not for my issues lol. So just one of those products should work for a normal person 😊
I liked the demos while you talked, and I like them at the end too. I’ve kind of been trying to not watch makeup videos, mainly to try to use what I have, but I really enjoy yours. The only ones I don’t watch are the fragrance ones because I quit wearing perfume ages ago when I became a nurse. But I have to tell you that your descriptions of scents is amazing. It reminds me of wine tastings at vineyards.
I tell you when I was in SHOCK when you mentioned the Cinema Secrets brush cleaner 😂 I was washing my makeup brushes while watching this video, and thinking about trying that exact products right before you started talking about it!
Lauren, try Just For Men Beard and Mustache Dye! You only need to dye your brows once a month or so. It is a game changer for those with almost translucent brow hairs. One box of dye lasts forever since you only need a drop at a time and it is so affordable. I have the exact same results with the box dye as I have getting them professionally tinted. I highly recommend!
Yes! I was going through the same blonde brow journey. I finally decided to tint my brows and use a clear brow gel/got 2 b glued. It’s the way to go, fast and more natural looking brows!!!
Luminoso is my favorite blush. I even have a kiko milano version that is the same. Its just gorgeous. And I only have three blushed BTW including burts bees toasted cinnamon. Ironically I hate drugstore packaging to the point I don't buy them anymore, but the burts bees one really attracts me
Ok here are my complex thoughts lol: I like the clips of application but I would prefer them to be chronological (skincare, primer, foundation, etc). If youre just listing products without clips then I dont mind it jumping around. I like when you do your makeup, but more when you talk about life updates and other things. It does work for these kind of reviews as well but the clips are better.
I use a flannel or small towel to clean my brushes - just as a quick, dry colour switch or with a brush cleaner. The texture is perfect, you can use it to dry an overly damp sponge or wipe product off of fingers. And then just pop in the wash ☺️
Lauren, I enjoy trying out various brow products too and as a natural blonde aI think a well done brow really is complementary. It’s like lipstick or mascara won’t leave the house without it. Will look for that brush cleaner. I use Dr. Bonner’s liquid soap, a few drops in my palms then a rinse. I just keep buying more brushes so I have clean ones on hand.
I just got the Milani baked blush in Bella Bellini, and love it for summer! Like you, though, I don’t think it’s a look I would enjoy in the winter. Love your purple inner corner so much!💜
Lottie London has a tinted brow wax. But in my experience it was pretty tinted. But not orange. I had problems confining the color to my brows. I found I like to put the elf wow brow in for color and then to get them to stay in place I go in with the elf brow lift.
Lauren, you might like the ABH Dipbrow Gel! It's much less pigmented than the pomade, but more than a tinted brow gel. It's perfect for me because it gives my brows some tint while being unbelievably easy to apply. A tube lasts a pretty long time too. Not sure why it has mixed reviews, it's a holy grail for me!
Love this video format and your eye makeup here! I want to recommend just for men beard dye for your brows. I have the ghostie blonde brows too, and I use the beard dye like every 6 or 8 weeks to dye them and it works so perfectly. I just apply it with an old spoolie and rinse it out after 10 min or so. I’ve been using the same box for at least a year too. It might be perfect for you too!
Lauren, me too I am obsessed with makeup I use makeup all the time even when I don't leave my house. Makeup just makes me so happy. Love the eyelook you have created, that inner shimmer pink is so cute.🥰❤💞
I don't know if you have/would consider microblading for your brows, but as someone who also has to basically create and draw on an eyebrow, it was a game changer. I was able to get away with just a gel to keep the hairs in place & it looked incredibly natural when I wasn't wearing makeup, which was an initial concern I had. Its definitely expensive but I really found it to be worth it for what I wanted and needed.
Lauren: For your brows, try Refectocil (you can buy it on Amazon). It's dye for eyelashes and eyebrows. I have blonde eyebrows too and I dye my brows. It makes a huge difference! It lasts much longer than using regular hair dye.
Oh I am totally copying your eye look today. It is beautiful and so creative. I'm glad you mentioned the Rare Beauty illuminating primer. I absolutely love that stuff. I still have some in my initial bottle and bought a backup. I am super oily and not a liver of primers, especially any with silicone, yuck! The RB primer gives me a subtle glow.
For me, a seasonal mini-pan helps. A smaller focus, which eventually leads me to want to immerse myself in the whole of my collection. And, I'll say again & again, putting away some makeup seasonally makes me feel like I'm getting new stuff, and that urge to play returns, when I grab the shades that have been put away for a while.
Have you seen the Asian beauty brow stains that last about a week? Might be an option for you. I’m a fake redhead and used to dye my brows, it doesn’t last super long in my experience.
Oh my gosh. I can completely relate to the brow issues. I have brow hair. Some of it is brown but alot of it is blonde. My brows take me more time to do that the rest of my makeup. I have been contemplating tinting my brows but even that needs to be done often. The struggle is real.
I just received my new Sigma highlighter today, I got the color Savannah. When I swatched it, it looked super metallic but when I blended it out with my finger it looked beautiful. I will have to try your technique when I apply it :)
No-one ever talks about it, and I don't know how accessible it is in the States, but Sleek's Pwdr Brow pencil in Blonde literally ended my brow product search. As long as I've got that and Elf Wow Brow, I'll never buy any other brow product again. It's a fairly hard pencil, but lays down a subtle amount of product that looks like a powder, and it's genuinely pretty difficult to overdo/screw it up. The blonde shade's also the perfect very light, ashy, grey toned colour that makes invisibrows like mine and yours show up without going orange 🧡😘
I had the same issue with gel eyeliners from Colourpop. They were too soft and I ruined the mint green I loved. Try putting them in the fridge. On my vanity I have a small beauty fridge I got off Boxycharm. I keep my Serums and the eyeliners. They work much better when store in a cool place. My KVD eyeshadow stick was the same so it lives in there too. It's all at my reach when I sit to do my makeup. OK my cat is pawing at me and I can't focus. hahaha! She loves your voice. Keep beautiful Lauren Mae.
Lauren, have you ever tried dying your brows? I know it works for Hannah, and I’ve been doing it too and it works pretty well for me. Makes it so I don’t have to fill them in as much!
I barely have eyebrows from over plucking but my favourite thing to do is using the maybelline eyebrow peel tattoo…it’s a bit of work tho but once your peel off the tint you really don’t have to do much maybe just pencil in a few hairs
Have you thought about dying your brows? I find this helps speed up my brow routine! I just use beard dye every few weeks and it helps my getting ready process!
Have you tried the pink honey products from beauty bay? The honey glue tint n hold is great for brows. It’s changed my brow routine, love it. Heather Austin introduced me to that product.
Have you considered actually dying your brows? I use the just for men beard dye and it's the best. My brows are going grey as I'm aging and this makes such a difference and it saves me time and product.
I too have clear eyebrows and I'd love to know how the brow tinting works out for you. I've been thinking about doing it but eyelash tinting was kind of a bust for me.
I have to tell you, we were hit by a nasty storm and the entire city of Ottawa, ON was out of power (I know who cares you don't know me) but wait there's more lol. 2.5 hours ago at midnight the power came back on after 12 days of no power, and, once everything got fixed, I realized you were the first youtuber I wanted to watch. I will cat ch up with tany other videos I missed then watch Amanda z and hopefully get more ideas for my own videos. 😊. I will finally do a video putting makeup o today so that will be nice, if I remember how 🤣 thank you for being so awesome, and I LOVE my 2 roen palettes even though I have to use my sausage fingers 😍💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖
Girl mine are super blonde too and use the just for men hair color for beards/ facial hair. It wears off after about 3wks but for those wks all I have to do is use a good brow gel/ etc for shape.. it’s changed my life and makeup routing!!
Dude, I have black hair and have the same brow troubles! I guess my brows just don’t grow in particularly thick (makes sense because that’s how the hair on my head is too - fine) and kind of light, despite the fact that the actual hairs are black? I may try that tinted soap! Edit: the tinted soap only comes in one color?? Laaaame
I’ve not tried it but could it work to mix some brow pomade with a brow soap? Like get a bit of ABH in a colour that you want, mix it in with some soap into a tub so you don’t have to mix it each time Could be a cool DIY video if you did try it
Love the inner corner pop of purple in your eyeshadow look here, it's so pretty and goes well with your top 💕
I was drooling for the dragonfruit palette...i so love it for summer🌞
I like the demo playing while you're describing the product, personally. Love your makeup recs, you inspired me to try and replicate your eye look in this vid 💕
Me too💋
I love the combination of inner corner highlight, earrings, and top in the purple-pink realm 😊💜 it looks so cute and cohesive!
I really like the way you did this video- with the application shown while talking about the item.
Love how you're so thorough in letting us know exactly what that brush cleaner is good for and what it's not. It's those little details for me sis!!!!
As someone who also has blonde ghost eyebrows I cannot recommend tinting them enough, it changed my whole makeup life lol. I’ve gotten them done at benefit brow bars in the past but I use just for men and do it myself now and it’s such a game changer. JUST FOR MEN beard dye - lots of shades, better coverage for brows than regular hair dye. It seems like a good idea for you!
Love the highlighter application tips. I adore highlighter but I've got 42 year old (lives at the beach) skin, and the "normal" placement really showcases my smile crinkles. So I've been experimenting, and will definitely try out this type of brush

Your brows Look so natural. Love that technique.
I’m just gonna keep recommending the elf bite size brow palette!!! It’s like $3 and I’m dying for u to try it bc mixing the wax and the powder has saved me so much time 👏🏼👏🏼

that lilac on your inner corner is 🤌
Lauren I AM not going to lie your a fun tuber channel to watch. But, you do come from your own personal place. I love a shimmer so you are in rotation.
You have become my favorite TH-camr because I just feel like you’re the most genuine person on the makeup platform 🥰
I'm an esthetician and MUA. I feel the same way. Lauren is the only creator I still watch, all these years later
lauren ur videos never cease 2 bring me joy haha. i love watching each and every video knowing that ur energy will cheer me up- i love these kinds of videos and i especially love ur pallet recreations... it definitely helped me realize that i have a lot to work with and i dont need something that i might already have ! anyways, thanks 4 ur consistency and effort
I'm going thru the same phase seems like I been putting on makeup daily! And I never have done all shimmer looks before and now I going for it like never before! How cool it is to hear that it's becoming a trend!
Just for men beard dye is great for my blonde eyebrows. I’ve been using the same kit for a year as you only need to do it monthly and use a tiny bit.
I'm so happy that you're so happy!
I enjoy seeing makeup tubers who just.... enjoy their makeup! It's like the good old days have returned! 👍
I really want a roen pallette...but none of the colour stories speak to me. Can I articulate what I want? No lol. Taupey neutral champagne? Neutral greeny bronze? No orange, no pink...
I would LOVE for them to come out with a taupe neutral palette!! Greens and olives would also be so nice!!
I like everything about this video. Your total look is fantastic and the voice over is better than a stand alone tutorial in this case.
I’m so happy your doing well and have such a great perspective since being in the hospital! So freakin happy for you! 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼👑😎🐝🌻🖤✨
Lauren! I know you want brow waxes in a pot but the thick it stick it brow gel/wax from nyx is really good, has a good tint, and has the effects of a brow wax with hold and shape. I know you didn’t like the colourpop one but I realllllly think you should try this one!
I agree! Just picked it up last week and it makes brows so effortless
Just came from Jessica Braun’s recommendation, watched this video and immediately subscribed. Love your style! Can’t wait to binge more of your videos.

I've also been reflecting on my makeup collection a lot and thinking about what I do or don't use and why and will be depotting some of my eyeshadow palettes and face palettes to get more use out of them
Chronically Ill with blingy eyeshadow gang rise up

I'm really enjoying the Rare Beauty Brow Harmony duo! I find it very easy to use. Have you tried it?
I tell you when I was in SHOCK when you mentioned the Cinema Secrets brush cleaner 😂 I was washing my makeup brushes while watching this video, and thinking about trying that exact products right before you started talking about it!

Love that inner corner highlight!!!!! And I'm obsessed w/ that blouse!!! Gorgeous!!!!!!!!!
I relate to you on white eyebrows… tinting them has changed my life!! I would defintely reccomend it
Enjoy your videos always. I’m going to start just using what I have and exploring my collection again.

You look incredible! The shape and framing you have created with your perfect brows and inner corner highlight looks amazing!! Xxxx
Your skin looks gorge girl, the eye cream/whatever else you use is WORKing!!
I got the 11:11 shipped to canada, the deal was so good I didn't believe it was real until it arrived yesterday thanks lauren!
I prefer try-ons in the middle of the video when you're talking about the product!
Have you tried the pink honey products from beauty bay? The honey glue tint n hold is great for brows. It’s changed my brow routine, love it. Heather Austin introduced me to that product.
I actually have this in cart out of curiosity. Glad to hear it’s good!
I really like the Rare Beauty illuminating primer!
I like the footage while you talk about the product!
Loving your videos!! So helpful and I watched them over and over. Curious if you prefer the Adept Cosmetics or Dragon Fruit better?
I loved your earrings, where are they from? Xx
Loved this video! Thank you for letting us know about the liners. So glad you are doing well :)
Obsessed with your top in this video!
I would definitely dye the brows
I reach for those freakin milani blushes over every single high end blush I own!! Rose d’oro is the GOAT 🙌🏼
Have you considered actually dying your brows? I use the just for men beard dye and it's the best. My brows are going grey as I'm aging and this makes such a difference and it saves me time and product.
Arghhh i finally gave in and ordered the Dragonfruit palette. I tried to resist.
Have you ever considered getting a brow tint? It’s not super expensive & lasts several weeks.
I absolutely love the way you have been looking. It is like you are a new person. More beautiful and mature, not old, just more adult like❤️
I too have clear eyebrows and I'd love to know how the brow tinting works out for you. I've been thinking about doing it but eyelash tinting was kind of a bust for me.
I feel like Lauren x Roen collab would be amazing thing to happen
I like this format better but I'd watch either 😅. Thanks for sharing!
SwipeUp looks beautiful on you, Lauren! 😍
Like get a bit of ABH in a colour that you want, mix it in with some soap into a tub so you don’t have to mix it each time
Could be a cool DIY video if you did try it
