from july 11, 1990 at montreaux ...awesome performance. van is such a master of segue, melting his songs together. during this same set he sings "northern muse (solid ground)" and transitions seamlessly back and forth through "auld lang syne," "no prima donna" and "when heart is open."

Exactly, MB! I've had this show in my collection for about 30 years. One of Van's best live shows from this era, and that's saying something.
