When I was pregnant 18 years ago, I played this song everyday to soothe my nerves and after my son was born, this album was played everyday while he slept so peacefully. I will never get enough!
The man would never sing a song that didn't have soul and meaning. Super guitar playing.and you still hear the words of the song perfectly.. The perfect balance. .

It spoke to me like no other at that time of my life - the love of life the love of young girls at school, the love and camaraderie I felt for my friends back then. Glad to hear this unique rendition of Sweet Thing.

Always wondered how he recreated this album. I heard, from Lester Bangs, he had a host of Jazz musicians on the production of the actual song, he does a great job here, just guitar and voice. Wow, truly impressed, such a beautiful song.

I've spent nearly two decades collecting music like this. Sometimes the quality is really good as with this one, sometimes, it's not very good but yet good enough to hear and appreciate the artistry and musicianship and the experience of the performance. Still doesnt beat being there....
