Oh guys, I cried with joy that you are moved by the precious nature in my country. Don't miss the Dandanongs and the William Rickets Sanctuary whilst you are in that neck of the woods. You can buy a snake bite first aid kit for your travels but just be vigilant when walking in the bush. Seeing that many Koalas is a big deal for us also, you found a great spot. ❤ What Bird is That is a good book for identifying bird life. Happy travels lovelies. 😊❤
I’m stressing out my dog and cat because I keep laughing out loud with joy at Keely’s reactions! Especially the look on your face reacting to the boar sounding koalas all around your van 😂 I love you two! Happy for you two too! Makes me want to get to AU sooner than intended.
I’m an Aussie as well and been travelling full time for over 3 years and haven’t seen a koala yet in the wild. Plenty of other wildlife though. Please don’t drive dusk or dawn because kangaroos are really stupid, they make it a sport to collide into cars. You’re going to have a blast here. Everyday I wake up in new surroundings and am also so grateful ❤❤❤❤❤
That makes me feel so lucky ❤️🐨 yeah we need to get better at avoiding driving at night, only happened a couple times, but have witnessed the kamakazi kangaroos
KEELY had me in tears. Nature is so amazing and sometimes there are no words to explain the emotion you feel. I have experience it on many occasions myself. Amazing footage!!! I'm loving the new experiences with Australia. Tell Philly I am still waiting for the appearance of 'Philly the chef'. You guys balance each other out perfectly. Be careful and remember Kangeroos will fight you sometimes Thank you so much for all your hard work. Loveyouguys!
Thanks so much Sandra! Baking with Philly will need to make a come back, but we have no baking facilities, he wouldn't let me pack the Omnia Sweden haha

I so loved this video. Seeing Australia through your eyes for the first time as a campervan traveler is so awesome. I can't believe all the wildlife you saw in just the first few days. And, I just love seeing your van, all built out now and out there in the wild parked up. You're so lucky to be doing this and I thank you for taking the time and effort to share it with us. Stay safe now, don't let the critters get a bite of you and have a great week ahead. Take care!🥰✌
Ok that was just amazing! So glad you’ve started your adventure!! I was crying with you Keely when you were so overwhelmed by nature. Your awe and amazement was so pure. Philly I’m sure you’re feeling it too. You’ve already seen so much!! Ok… maybe you need some big ugly straw sun hats down there in Australia with your VERY Irish ☘️ skin? Keely maybe you could cut a little hole in the top for your hair? Safe travels amongst the spiders 🕷 and snakes 🐍. From Southern California 🌴

Yeah we are just used to calling them that ❤️ probably cuz our only experience of them back home is in teddy bear form, most teddy bears aren't actually bears either, we just used to calling them that haha
You two never fail to entertain. I couldn’t stop laughing at Keelys reaction to the wildlife. It’s lovely to see you on the road and finally seeing and enjoying Australia. It looks amazing looking forward to next week. Stay safe guys. ❤
Loved the Video! I look forward to you posting every Sunday to see how your travels are going and live vicariously through you guys . I love your passion for nature and exploring 😋 be careful out there ❤
It's fantastic to see you both finally enjoying the fruits of your labour. You have both worked so hard for this . I am not surprised that you're crying. Seeing all of those beautiful animals is so beautiful ❤
What an amazing experience you’re having in your first few days of travelling. Seeing Keely getting so emotional is just a natural response and makes me feel the same just watching. Safe travels and waiting for next week.
You guys make me smile so much! I just LOVE your appreciation of our wildlife!! 😀 We have the most beautiful parrots & I am still blown away every time I see bright colour flashing about in the trees (even in my own backyard!). As for information to identify birds & wildlife, the best option while travelling is to pick up brochures along the way at information centres (or even pick up an identification book there too). There are loads of great books about but as you're going from state to state, you won't want big heavy books to drag around. Happy travels!! Can't wait to see more! 😀 ~ Karen
I’m glad to see you’re finally out and about enjoying Australia I also watch an Australian couple call Jack and Megan they do TH-cam videos as well about Australia and they live in Australia. You might get some good tips of them on places where to go and want to see
Wow you are having a great time. There are such beautiful animals in Australia, so glad you've seen some, fancy koalas that is brilliant. You are so lucky. I couldn't believe how dark it is in Australia when sun goes.Take care.
Your van looks awesome inside. I saw your video when you found the van. What a difference compared to now. I think you two are so funny but I think your accent makes what you say so much more hilarious.
Thanks guys, that was great, it's freezing here in Scotland, frosty times, so enjoy the heat and the wonderful flora and fauna there, looking forward to next week xcx
Your reaction to the koalas made me tear up. I've lived here 50 years and never seen that many wild koalas. I've never seen glow worms. You definitely should get a snake bite kit for your backpack. I'd also suggest a hat and sunglasses. The damage will sneak up on you. Cant wait for your next vlog.
Recommend getting the Australian Emergency plus app on your phone's. Can confirm your exact location in an emergency, works offline & in remote locations. Thanks guys for sharing your Australia adventure
Just make sure you have plenty of water when your travelling. Stay safe at night where ever you are. Some free Camps will have showers and toilets. I think it's called wikki camp sites. Red and Blue coloured birds are called Rosella.
So glad you're here in Australia! You need to get yourselves a snake bite kit. You can get them at any camp shop. It has plenty of compression bandages and instructions and can literally save your lives. On another note, Russell Coight is a wealth of Aussie outback adventure info 😂😂😂.Have fun and enjoy this beautiful country ❤
Wow I asked for kangaroo’s, 1 min 24 seconds in, we see our first kangaroo, but it gets better, I forgot about the beautiful koala bears, can’t believe how close you both got, just beautiful. Have a great week and safe travels ❤
Hi. What a great video. It was super special that you saw the koalas. Also that they were awake as normally they sleep for 23 out of 24 hours. I have lived here in Australia for 35 years and only seen them once in the wild in that time. On another note. If you get a snake bite, don’t suck it. Bind it with whatever you have. Firm but not too tight that you cut off circulation. The important thing though is not to move. Let emergency come to you. Movement makes the venom move faster around your body.
You made me well up with your raw reaction to nature. Don't ever lose that! Also, I _never_ expected that noise to come out of a Koala! 😮 _Totally_ shattered my illusion of them! 😂 24:06 Please tell me that was an extreme magnified close-up shot! 😱
just make sure you pull over when traffic builds up behind you on the GOR (great ocean road), there is so many gob stopping moments :D. Are you heading straight up to the centre and NT, because going or doing either for the next few months is heading into wet season. LMAO as soon as the recording of the sound, then the sighting of the koala, yep ppl tend to think they should be gentle sounding 🤣
Oh Keely, 😢 you had me going again. You emotions are wonderful to watch. It's wonderful to see you both so happy and enjoying life. You deserve it after working so hard for the last month xx👍🐸
Looks like Australia is being super kind to you guys!! Looks like a wonderful trip so far and I can't wait to see more! Thanks for sharing your adventure
The way Keely reacts to wildlife and beauty in general is so life affirming - love following your adventures. OMG - never heard a koala make that noise before - whoa!
We just got back from Sydney and Perth. The Blue Mountains outside of Sydney has a Dinosaur Valley that has a lot of animaltronics. We enjoyed the Glow worm caves in NZ so cool you could see them in the Forest
I just found your channel this arvo, and I've been binge watching ever since. Keels.... you are a beautiful soul. I love your beautiful heart, you're just so endearing. And Philly, you're amazing too. I love love love the pair of you, and I love you together, what a beautiful couple ❤💛💚💙💙
🤣 ahh, the maggies chortling, and the red ones are Rosellas - you'll also see green ones, they're Lorikeets. Reckon they're bad, wait til you meet the cockies and gallahs... bwahahahaha! Love the vlog, have a grand time, and keep the footage coming, you're making me homesick! Go get yourselves a full first aid kit that includes a snake-bite kit - seriously. then hone up on some basic first aid knowledge. Would seriously recommend refreshing your emergency skills before you go outback!!
Keely I love that you get so emotional when you see wild animals , nature and beautiful scenery , I’m just the same . I never get tired of seeing all that . Not so sure I’d be so keen with a bloody great big snake though 😬Love you two and look forward to see what you’ve been up to every week , never change ( please ) you’re great !! Take care with the wild stuff 🐍🕷️🦖( ok , so maybe not dinosaurs 🤣) enjoy your week xx
This may help you I'm an interstate truck driver here in Australia If you plan to cross the state boarder into south Australia make sure you have eaten all your fresh fruit and vegetables they have check points
You make me cry seeing the excitement on your faces. I am Australian born and I have only seen a koala in the wild ONCE! ……. And I cried too !!! Living in the far north east of Australia doesn’t serve me well in the koala department……..now…….crocodiles……..I can show you plenty of them 🤣🤣. I hope you will never lose the excitement of youth ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️….. we call them fireflies, they are magic. That can light up a tree ….beautiful….Philly you are such a tease……
You made me cry again, I love see'in our country through your eye's, I new as soon as you talked about the wild pig sound, that it was a koala. I'm so happy you have got to experience all this love in just a few day's. Isn't our bush amazing, keep smiling and enjoy every moment ❤
Six months ago I watched a video where a lady had her entire kitchen stolen . She lives in a car . All I’m saying is consider how long it takes to throw all that stuff back in the van . Just like you she went on a walk came back and everything was gone . So putting it inside versus having to go buy it again time wise . Every bit of scenery is beautiful , including the animals . Never heard about those worms . You two teach me a lot . It’s been awhile since any stray dogs or cats . I think that’s a good thing because I want all the dogs and cats to have a home with a fireplace to curl up in front of . See you next week .
Wow just seeing your latest it is fantastic and you're so lucky to see all of those in one place. You asked for some tips so here goes. You will soon find dirt roads, washboard roads, sandy roads and beaches to drive on. I would invest in an air compressor so that you can lower your tyre pressures and be able to blow them up again. If you don't you run the real risk of getting bogged and or shaken to death in your little van. It will break. That's my two penith worth enjoy you adventure.
Omg Keely you are so cute, l was laughing when.you thought it was a bore, male Koalas make scary noises when mating, and dont try and pat a wild one, they can claw you, my Dad would go camping, and he was lucky enough to have a couple of small Koalas come right upto him, they were used to people. I am lucky living in the country l see Kangaroos, but not so many Koalas, theg usually sleep during the day, l am so happy you got to experience this, noway would l have gone on the night walk haha, you are brave, l am Australian, and lm petrified of snakes haha. You both make me smile, honary Aussies xxx
kookaburras and koalas, mental. we lived in NSW for 4 years didn't see one wild koala and you're just popping them off like they are nothing. loved watching along and to think this is just the beginning of the adventure. much love team, excited as for you!
I lived in Canberra for 2.5 yrs and I saw many kangaroos 🦘 unfortunately they were dead along the roads!! I did have encounters with live ones as well on the golf course & in my garden
Wow! So far this one is my favorite! You guys made me feel like i was actually there! The joy and energy you both brought to the camera made me so happy! All the way from Texas!
Nothing wrong in expressing your happiness about God's beautiful creatures. Crying is just another way we express our emotions and reflects a willingness to be open about our feelings. Also it is good for us. Great vid, although seeing the dead Kangaroo by the side of the road not so much. 🦘🦘🦘🦘🦘🦘🦘🦘🦘🦘🦘🦘🦘🦘
You lucky, lucky sods. We were there 8 years ago and never saw a Koala. Loved hearing the Whip birds in the background though. Ps we're in our 60's and hoping to go back. Enjoy every moment, for us x.
I love you both for showing me things I will never get to see in my life. Wish I travelled more when I was young 😢 And it is wonderful to see how you truly appreciate being able to do this, never take anything for granted and loving every minute. Never loose that, and keep the video’s coming ❤
Am loving the van you guys did a smashing job! We have parrots and kookas come most nights chirping for a feed. And big stonking kangas chew the grass. The botanical gardens were we live have kangas hanging all day. Be careful of snakes tis the season. Just get a first aid kit it will have info...too many animal books 😅 get paper or offline maps if you can too phones/internet here is rubbish. Koalas are so tricky to spot well done 👏 in nsw it's rare to spot them. I guess the fires we had 2019/2020 didn't help. Everyone is always shocked when they hear the noise from.the koalas 😂 you guys need to go to Tassie Keely would flip out!!
Hey everyone, thanks so much for watching! Remember you can get four months NORD VPN free at www.nordvpn.com/chapter

15:47 Yes Keely, it is special. As you later mentioned, it's not so easy to find Koalas in the wild anymore.

😂😂😂 so loving your glee! The black ones are black cockatoos (they're my favourites) the multi-coloured ones are Rosellas.
When it comes to snakes big brown and grey ones with small heads will kill you but patchy coloured ones with big heads are pythons and not venomous, but can still be grumpy. My suggestion would be to get some gaters for covering your ankles for bush walks but definitely covered shoes/ankles at all times but honestly they're more scared of you than you are of them!
Have fun out there you two gorgeous humans!

I know Philly was keen keen to tick off a Kookaburra from his list. (The Aussie kingfisher equivalent) but after checking Google hasn't he been married to one for a number of years? I quote! The call sounds like a variety of trills, chortles, belly laughs, and hoots. It starts and ends with a low chuckle and has a shrieking "laugh" in the middle." Sorry Keeley but this made me chuckle 😎🙄🤣 (obviously just a bit of Aussie rules banter)

Wow, the koala sightings were amazing (but they are not bears lol). I was listening to the bird calls you captured too, lovely.
Yeah we are just used to calling them that ❤️ probably cuz our only experience of them back home is in teddy bear form, most teddy bears aren't actually bears either, we just used to calling them that haha

Awww thankyou so much Tammy! So glad you found our channel ❤️❤️
I came for the comments. Would love to know also some Aussie tips on how not to get bit by anything. Can't wait for more guys ❤.
Keep clear of the locals😜 we're biters 🤣😂
@@MoonRiverTravels 🤣🤣🤣
Been here 60 years and only ever been bit by a cat.
😂😂 this made me laugh out loud 🐱
Big Fans for years now so glad you're here,Lived here in Aus for 58yrs and never seen a Koala in the wild.Well Done guys.
Wow that makes it feel very special then ❤️
carrots and pangarooes best rename ever! Love Keely's emotions, the memories you make today will stay with you forever xx
❤️❤️❤️
Hi guys, I never ever leave the paths..happy days..❤
Thats a good recommendation
🤣 ahh, the maggies chortling, and the red ones are Rosellas - you'll also see green ones, they're Lorikeets. Reckon they're bad, wait til you meet the cockies and gallahs... bwahahahaha! Love the vlog, have a grand time, and keep the footage coming, you're making me homesick!
Go get yourselves a full first aid kit that includes a snake-bite kit - seriously. then hone up on some basic first aid knowledge. Would seriously recommend refreshing your emergency skills before you go outback!!
Thanks so much for the info and advice ❤️❤️💪💪
Keely I love that you get so emotional when you see wild animals , nature and beautiful scenery , I’m just the same . I never get tired of seeing all that . Not so sure I’d be so keen with a bloody great big snake though 😬Love you two and look forward to see what you’ve been up to every week , never change ( please ) you’re great !! Take care with the wild stuff 🐍🕷️🦖( ok , so maybe not dinosaurs 🤣) enjoy your week xx
Thanks so much Harris ❤️❤️❤️ honestly animals are so incredible
This may help you I'm an interstate truck driver here in Australia
If you plan to cross the state boarder into south Australia make sure you have eaten all your fresh fruit and vegetables they have check points
Yeah we ate our bananas in advance but realised we had accidentally snuck in an avocado haha
When we hit the north I doubt I will be crying for the same reason when I see a crocodile 🤣🤣🤣
You made me cry again, I love see'in our country through your eye's, I new as soon as you talked about the wild pig sound, that it was a koala. I'm so happy you have got to experience all this love in just a few day's. Isn't our bush amazing, keep smiling and enjoy every moment ❤
Thanks so much Helen ❤️❤️
Six months ago I watched a video where a lady had her entire kitchen stolen . She lives in a car . All I’m saying is consider how long it takes to throw all that stuff back in the van . Just like you she went on a walk came back and everything was gone . So putting it inside versus having to go buy it again time wise . Every bit of scenery is beautiful , including the animals . Never heard about those worms . You two teach me a lot . It’s been awhile since any stray dogs or cats . I think that’s a good thing because I want all the dogs and cats to have a home with a fireplace to curl up in front of . See you next week .
If we find a stray kitten that will be very dangerous because you KNOW I won't be able to leave it behind!!
Smashing.Great to see creatures in their rightful place, free and without fear of humans.
So so special ❤️❤️
Wow just seeing your latest it is fantastic and you're so lucky to see all of those in one place. You asked for some tips so here goes.
You will soon find dirt roads, washboard roads, sandy roads and beaches to drive on. I would invest in an air compressor so that you can lower your tyre pressures and be able to blow them up again. If you don't you run the real risk of getting bogged and or shaken to death in your little van. It will break. That's my two penith worth enjoy you adventure.
Brilliant tip thanks so much, will look into getting one of these before heading into the outback 💪💪
As a guideline you can go down to under 10psi without problems if you need to.
Hey Guys loved it , made me remember how I felt 35 years ago when I first got here from Liverpool. Loved it Thank you.
Thanks so much Tony 🥰🥰
Keely I am crying with you. Nature is amazing. Awesome video. Its incredible. Enjoy kids. Love you both. Thank you for taking us with you.
Thanks so much for coming along with us Deb ❤️
Yay honorary Aussies 🥰🥰🎉🎉 thanks so much Donna! Couldn't believe the noise coming out of them!
Omg l just re read what l wrote, sorry about typos, didn't have my reading glasses on haha, bloody Aussies haha
Keely - you are special!!!
Thanks Patricia ❤️❤️ so are you 🥰✌️
kookaburras and koalas, mental. we lived in NSW for 4 years didn't see one wild koala and you're just popping them off like they are nothing. loved watching along and to think this is just the beginning of the adventure. much love team, excited as for you!
So insane isn't it! Feel so lucky!
What a thrill to be able to point your camera, or drone, anywhere and see such beautiful sights! A very special place.
Thanks Deborah 🥰 very special indeed
I lived in Canberra for 2.5 yrs and I saw many kangaroos 🦘 unfortunately they were dead along the roads!! I did have encounters with live ones as well on the golf course & in my garden

In touch with mother nature haha
Hallarious

Feckin love your channel....
Aww thanks so much Marko ❤️
aww so glad ur on the move, yeah u made me happy cry, happy times for happy people, but 1 video a week is not enough, lol xxx
Hahah thanks so much Lynn ❤️
Nothing wrong in expressing your happiness about God's beautiful creatures. Crying is just another way we express our emotions and reflects a willingness to be open about our feelings. Also it is good for us. Great vid, although seeing the dead Kangaroo by the side of the road not so much. 🦘🦘🦘🦘🦘🦘🦘🦘🦘🦘🦘🦘🦘🦘
Thanks so much ❤️❤️ yeah just allowing myself to feel all the gratitude for that moment 🥰🥰
You let it flow babe, nothing wrong in showing your emotions. @@phillyandkeely ❤
hi philly and kelly hope yous are well.miss your videos.love to you both
Aww thanks so much ❤️🙏 we are working on our first outback video for you all, hopefully out Sunday evening 🙏
🥰@@phillyandkeely
You lucky, lucky sods. We were there 8 years ago and never saw a Koala. Loved hearing the Whip birds in the background though.
Ps we're in our 60's and hoping to go back.
Enjoy every moment, for us x.
Thanks David, we will certainly enjoy it on your behalf ❤️
I love you both for showing me things I will never get to see in my life. Wish I travelled more when I was young 😢 And it is wonderful to see how you truly appreciate being able to do this, never take anything for granted and loving every minute. Never loose that, and keep the video’s coming ❤
Thanks so much ❤️❤️ we are very grateful for everything we get to experience
Yeah really hope we can get there🤞🤞 on a ferry waiting list
@@phillyandkeely do they have waiting lists now?
Sprit of Tasmania books up months in advance in summer its nuts
Eeh ......I just friggin love you two ❤💙💑xx
Aww thanks so much Ruth ❤️
Eucalypt trees can drop small and! big branches without any warning, so be careful, guys! Love Australia and you filming it is special to me! Enjoy!
Thanks for the warning Chris ❤️
I love to see your excitement and awe! Very glad to be sharing this with you. But......
Keely - koalas are koalas, not koala BEARs!
😆
So special ❤️I know they aren't an actual bear but everyone calls them koala bears 😂
